At 4.35 pm I rented a truck signed contract and left facility. I got a text stating your contract expiring in 4 hours and as per contract you will be charged by hour after 9.00 Pm The incident occurred today 6/21/2019 around 5.35 pm When I went to get a corrected contract and rented a truck for 24 hours and I left the facility I called U Hual 800 number they redirected to store and said they have to correct the contract I called the iStorage store and requested to change contract to 24 hours I have been placed on hold for over 5-10 min with no response I decided to go visit store it's very close to my and ask the counter staff to correct she said she corrected but can not give new revised contract All of a sudden when request to take screen shot on phone she started yelling shouting and I am still requesting to calm down Anyway I suggest everyone never use this facility. Such staff can lead you into trouble and may cause you heart attack if you are a BP patient and it happened to me today.

There were holes and mice droppings everywhere! The manager claims there couldn't have been mice because they get the property sprayed... We saw dead mice come out of our couches!!! We made a claim and are still waiting for a response! Its been 2 months of calling and emailing with only replies of "the claims people will call you" from Mike the manager. I have even spoke to the district manager and corporate and just get the run around. Apparently they have "lost" my claim... Management is not helpful and won't even respond to calls or emails. Beware of Mice! Only getting 1 star since I can't give them zero.

During the week I was there the team was very professional and accommodating to their customers as well as us. The driveway was blocked off for a week and they still made sure the costumers were able to get into the storage units anytime they needed. Through power outages and road blocks these folks made sure this place operated as normal as it could and I will say that wasn't an easy task. I got tired of calling and decided to eat the cost. Today, September 30th, I received ANOTHER email that my unit price had now gone up to $235 per month. I called and was essentially told I could move to a smaller unit but the price wouldn't change. Looks like they just picked the locks that I bought from cube smart. It was thousands and thousands of dollars worth of stuff. And a bunch of personal belongings as well.

The last 2 times I have gone to the unit there was no ac or lights. Today I went into the office and asked what the remedy will be. Brian, the manager, called his supervisor and she told him to tell me that a work order had been submitted 2 weeks ago and hopefully it would be fixed soon. That is not a remedy that is a hopeful idea. My immediate solution is rent as a non-climate control unit until the ac is fixed (this is not the first time this has happened) Brian advised he did not have the authority nor did his supervisor have the authority to do this. I asked for the phone number of the decision maker. Brian told me there is no phone number only an email dougjohnson@cubesmart.com. Brian was courteous and is a fairly new employee. I will email Mr. Johnson and update this review when there has been a remedy. Update 8/7/2023 at 5:03 PM update 8/11/2023 lights, no ac not even a minimal amount!!!
