Extremely disappointing service from an unhelpful budtender I stopped by Curaleaf on Thursday to pick up an online order. Since the store was practically empty, with only myself and one other customer inside,I thought it would be a great opportunity to ask the budtender for some recommendations. I wanted to try a few different single pre-rolls (Indica/Indica-dominant hybrid and Sativa/Sativa-dominant hybrid) from brands I wasn't familiar with, hoping to find a slightly cheaper alternative to the infused packs I normally buy. When I let the security guard know I had an online order but also wanted to browse, he let me right in. I walked up to a register where a gentleman was just getting set up. I tried to look at the menu screen at the station, but it wasn't working, and when I reached over to check the neighboring screen, the budtender at that station told me it didn't work either... That was inconvenient. (hindside if it would've been working this whole graceless interaction could've been avoided.) I explained that I was looking for recommendations for affordable, single pre-rolls in Indica and Sativa varieties, similar in quality to Birdies infused packs. The budtender said he could help, but then returned with multiple multi-packs instead of singles. When I reminded him that I only wanted to purchase individual pre-rolls to try out without spending too much, his attitude immediately shifted. He told to wait while he continued lining up products. When I asked which specific one he recommended and why, he rolled his eyes and loudly sighed. Thinking to myself that it was just the start of the day and he was already acting miserable, I decided to cut my losses. I told him, "You know what? Let's just forget the recommendations. Let me just grab the online order I already paid for, I have somewhere I need to be." At that point, he abruptly snatched all the products off the counter and threw them into a basket. When I paid and asked for my product, he looked into an empty bag because during our conversation, when he aggressively cleared the counter, he had scooped up my online order along with everything else! Instead of checking, he immediately accused me of having it, which completely upset me. I told him he had snatched it off the counter and to check the cameras and I'd dump my purse if he didn't believe me. He said "you bet we will". He looked under the counter and defensively told me, "There's no need to get an attitude," to which I replied, "There's no need for you to assume I stole something." Sure enough, he found my order under the counter in the returns bucket and said, "Look here, it is no problem." I told him his rude and dismissive attitude was entirely unnecessary. I took my product and left. On the way out, the kind security gentleman at the front wished me a great day, and I let him know that they seriously needed to have a word with that team member about his grossly inappropriate behavior. Curaleaf, train your staff on customer service. He's a budtender... it's your chosen job to recommend BUD. I won't be back there are better cannabis clubs that have employees who want to help the community customers. Oh and I will definitely share my experience with others. I visit this dispensary multiple times a week and am on a first-name basis with most of the staff. Unfortunately, my experience this morning was incredibly disappointing. The budtender assisting me (who refused to give me his name and instead told me it was "Larry Tate") was unnecessarily rude and passive-aggressive. I'm a very consistent customer and order the same products every visit. He grabbed what he assumed I wanted, and when I politely clarified that it wasn't what I had asked for, his attitude immediately changed. He completed the transaction, tossed my change onto the counter next to the receipt, left my products sitting there, and didn't bother asking if I needed a bag. Last time I went to this place it was the morning after New Years Eve. A still drunk and agitated employee screamed in my face when asked a question about holiday hours. Screamed I was banned from the store, shrug. No loss. I'm disabled and could not easily walk up to the door to see the handwritten "holiday hours" and specials posted on a brick ledge 6 feet from the door. I'm hoping I'll be back to update this if they decide to reach back out to me and respond to any one of my reviews or the message I sent them directly. They offer a buy one get one free that you can use 10 times anytime you want for new customers as long as you don't combine it with any other offer or discount. They mark their items very clearly if it is discounted or on sale and even though I'd never had any issue there when I went to use a buy one get one free for an advertised $20 for 14 g of shake they refuse to let me use it and I didn't have time to dispute it and still needed the weed so I left with half of what I thought I would knowing that I would run out before I would have money to get anymore and feeling like it was a bit of a bait and switch. Trying to reassure myself in the car that mistakes can happen and that I've literally never had a problem with curaleaf not this location or any other, I decided I would double check to make sure I hadn't missed anything, and I documented the way that the item is advertised without any discounts or sale notations at all, I documented what items that are on sale and discounted look like, I saved my receipt I have my order number, and I sent them some info and I am leaving as many reviews as I can, hoping to cast a wide net because I have never had a problem and they have always been so good to me, so I'm really hoping that one of these means will reach somebody who will care enough to want to fix this. You guys offer a deal that if it's not used with anything that's on sale or discounted that it can be applied. I have the proof that this isn't marked as discounted or on sale which means if it should have been that's on you guys not me and I really want to keep believing that you're the kind of company that agrees with that. I was looking at the reviews for this place and most are either a 1 or a 2. My experience here was totally different. I was welcomed with a smile and taken back to the store within 2 to 3 minutes. I was welcomed again and asked if they could help. I told them I was looking for a high THC flower because of my smoking history. He came back with a 30% THC flower. Perfect! They cater to their customers for sure. I was able to get what I wanted and the whole time I was in there I was treated like I was the only person in the world. I relied heavily on Yelp and a couple of other sites which won't be mentioned in this review, and I decided to visit the Curaleaf on Bell in Phoenix. The building is a very non-descript tan with one entrance off to the side. One the day that I visited there was no line outside and I didn't feel like my life was in danger. I opened the door and there's a waiting lobby. You will be asked to show your ID and the reason for your visit. Clearly, I am of age, and I was honest to say I was curious and did not have a medical card. After about 5-10 minutes an attendant opened a door, and I was ushered into a regular storefront with customers and employees. Going through that door was a little like Harry Potter going through Platform 9 3/4 Once on the other side, I felt like I was in another world. A 420 friendly Diagon Alley. Instead of Madam Malkin's Robes for all occasions, there's a section for gummies and in lieu of Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, there's a cheerful young employee who can help with creams. There's absolutely no judging here. It makes no difference if you are 420 friendly or not. The team was super friendly and helpful especially since I had questions. PRO TIP - If you pay with a card, the amount will be rounded up and cash will be given as the difference. The cream that I did get works wonders and I wouldn't been able to have it if it wasn't for the team at CuraLeaf. It is worth every penny. PRO TIP 2 - If you are visiting and traveling back to non-friendly 420 state, leave your products in their bag with the receipt and keep it in your checked bag. If you feel inclined to inform the ticket counter person for your airline, you can but checked bag is the way to go. NOTE: TSA says carry-on bags allow CBD / THC but there are special instructions needed. I would not risk it. Keep it in the checked bag and out of the hands of the TSA agents at screening. read more

It was overwhelming crowded and it's credit card machine that day was unavailable, which made matters worse time-wise. When I arrived for my online order, only one employee manned the never ending online order line. I asked for an additional BOGO item with my order, and when asking for cartridges I received pods instead that I could not use because it requires a special battery. On Saturday, I returned to Curaleaf and explained the situation to Fonzo, who served me, and he called Desean, one of the managers. To my shock and surprise, Desean offered me the $20 plus tax battery at no charge because of the misunderstanding. I walked out a happy, satisfied customer because Desean knew the situation and confusion that Wednesday before Thanksgiving and he gave me the battery rather than charging me, which I expected would happen. Shout out to Lisa, manager Kat, Desean, Fonzo, and all employees of Curaleaf. I like Curaleaf because of its daily specials. MMJ seniors receive 20% off of all items in the store. It's close, convenient and has a vast selection of name brands and items, and generally the wait time is minimal. I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Curaleaf 19th and Bell. When I arrived to make a purchase, the manager, Juliene (a male), knocked on my window and asked me to adjust my parking, which I did. Shortly after, a woman in the adjacent car began cursing at me and making rude gestures, despite the fact that I had not engaged with her in any way. Juliene (mgr) witnessed the entire exchange but, rather than addressing her behavior, he approached me and asked if I was a medical customer. When I said no, he informed me that I wouldn't be allowed to make a purchase due to the incident with the woman. I was stunned, as I had done nothing wrong except park slightly crooked. This experience reflects extremely poor customer service, and I feel unfairly targeted for an issue that was not my fault. Does Curaleaf really feel they can turn customers away without cause? My husband went to Cura-leaf since it was a Sunday evening and his normal place (The Giving Tree Dispensary) on 7th Ave & Union closed at 6pm, it was 6:02pm. I yelped for the next closest dispensary that was open late. So he went to Cura-leaf. I'd read a few of the prior reviews, I was hesitant but stayed optimistic...... (Big mistake) This evening we're sitting out back having cocktails, my husband decided to enjoy a smoke. So as he's filling the bowl on his glass pipe, he bought that the same night. Out spills a shard of glass!! (pics attached) so not cool. Not only is this a safety concern but also who wants to pay for glass as part of the weight?? Very disappointing to say the least. I always read the yelp reviews before trying a new restaurant or business. This is a perfect example of how useful yelp can be. This is my GO-TO spot. All employees are super chill and actually make conversation with you. I've been to other locations is so awkward and the line takes forever but not here! As soon as I walk in and provide my ID, they greet me with a big smile and make a conversation with me. The amazing service doesn't stop there, when I go to the back to order, they take their time and don't rush you. You could legit ask as many questions and they will be more than glad to help. In most places, employees typically don't have patience like this but Curaleaf does. I've brought a few friends here and it's become their go to spot too.
