They had a 50% off sale so I ordered online. When I got there it was ridiculously disorganized and there were only 3 employees. It took two of them to try to figure out how ring up my order and they blamed their system. It didn't seem correct on the receipt after I left so I went back. The manager said their receipts don't show the sale amounts clearly. I was then told the 50% off wasn't valid for the items I bought because they were under a certain dollar amount. I asked where that was stated in their advertisement or sale conditions, and she said it wasn't. I asked her again to confirm that they would not honor their sale price in spite of the undisclosed restriction. She then got belligerent and snapped, "You got the deal I gave you!!" This is the definition of false advertising. Lesson learned. I now see that there are many other one star reviews regarding false advertising and misleading pricing. I called when I got home because I didn't get the manager's name. I described her and the name I was given was Eli (sp?). I have no way of knowing if the information they gave me was true or correct. This place used to be my favorite dispensary when it was Giving Tree. When it was sold to Nirvana they changed everything. I can no longer be sure they have my favorite strains, it's a hit or miss now. They did away with the rewards program too. Another thing they did was raise their prices. The energy has changed, it feels different. If you were a customer here prior to Nirvana you understand. I was a steady customer of the previous owner. Now I doubt if I'll be back. my experience here has not been good. the staff moves SO SLOW! the only person that has some sense of urgency or care was Mo! the line is always to the door and the product never scans correctly or has issues. Absolute garbage. Do NOT go here is you smoke concentrates. I purchased eight grams of live resin batter from this store and realized after trying one out that they were all manufactured over a year ago. Concentrates have a shelf life and begin breaking down after they are made, and by six months you can begin to notice the difference in diminishing taste and effect. I can tell you now from experience that at the one-year-old mark, there are no terpenes, you need a small chisel to break pieces off of the batter, and the effects you should be getting are minimal. I brought to the product to the store and was informed that it was my "preference" not to use the product, that I could give the product to my friends or throw it away, and that I could have 50% off any purchase I made in the store. In other words, (a) it's my bad I didn't check the date on the concentrates before I bought them, (b) I have to eat the $170 and am stuck smoking tasteless wax, which I explained I won't do, however, (c) I am more than welcome to spend more money during my visit. I honestly don't think I would have gone through the trouble of writing this if I was given a reasonable reason why they couldn't substitute the product for me. Telling me its my preference not use what is essentially an expired product tells me whoever is running this store has zero idea how concentrates work, or they just don't care about ripping people off. Anyone out there who wants 8 grams of moldy tasting concentrates just let me know, I got your product and am happy to dispose of it to you. read more

This dispensary on the outside looks like a gas station, which lures customers to check out the place. Parking is ample so there's no need for squabbles with the other customers. You can tell that the owner spent a lot of money with the aesthetics of the facility creating a more comfortable environment where customers are not intimidated. My only gripe with this place is the lack of variety in the edibles. Everything was with a gummy or candy. Where are the crumpets?'! I placed an order online as that's what their website states is the preferred way during COVID. Approximately 10 minutes after I placed my order I received a confirmation text saying my order was successfully placed and to await a message to pickup. It is now one day later and after multiple attempts to contact the store they sent me one text saying " It was crazy busy yesterday so people who came in got priority". I never received any notifications, emails, calls or anything stating that my order was canceled but looking online the sale is cancelled out. Not even offering to replace it, but a store credit AND then i asked what happens to my legally recorded AZ state information on the allotment allowed and got the sorry we cannot change the purchase from your AZ state record but WILL record the amount again with using the "store credit". So, they have the product back (probably to re-sell) and i get recorded for the amount twice? Hmm that sure does NOT SOUND LEGAL TO ME? No thanks Giving Tree, you lost a customer. Had an unfortunate experience here today. Submitted an online order through Leafly, and received a text within the half-hour that my order was ready for pick-up. Great! Got in the car for the not-so-short drive to Giving Tree. When I arrived and they called my name, the salesperson said, "We sold out of what you ordered HOURS ago. I hope you got our text that we don't have what you ordered ." I showed her my phone -- that I got no text from Giving Tree, only from Leafly, indicating my order was ready for pick-up. Then she lookup my customer record in their system and said, "Oh, we don't have your cell number on file." So, they couldn't have texted me. She also could not explain why the Leafly system let me order something that was out of stock, let alone why I got a text that said my order was complete and ready for pickup. I suggest not patronizing this place unless you live very close and can afford to be out of medication if the same thing happens to you. read more
