I've been meaning to write a review of this dispensary forever. It is a very tricky place to review, because on the one hand, they have a decent selection, and the building itself is modern, sleek, and efficient. On the other hand, many of the employees and managers are icy cold, and have a disdain towards the patients that is palpable. It's actually shocking. It's like the "hot girl or guy" who has is nice to look at, but is a complete a-hole. The customer service on the phone, as indicated in several other Google reviews, is downright rude. They are nasty and curt in their short responses, and I have often been left on hold, not just 2 or 3 minutes... but 7-10 minutes, to the point where I just hang up. The problem is, you HAVE to call in to find out the availability of certain items. They basically create the situation by not listing everything on their website, and then they make you feel like an idiot for bothering them to find out what's available! It's bizarre. The iciness doesn't end there. You'll feel it when you are inside too. The reception staff doesn't look you in the eye, and give you the vibe that you are nuisance. The thing is, they are really one of the only games in town, so patients like me keep going back. However, when this industry finally blows open in NJ, I will be the first one to happily take my business elsewhere. They have all the leverage right now being one of only a few dispensaries in the state. They are aware they have this leverage and use it. But the worm will turn, and when it does, I hope other customers take note and make them feel the effects of their arrogance by supporting friendlier dispensaries. I've used Egg Harbor township and they are the friendliest, coolest people. But they don't have the same level of supply, so it's a trade off. Finally, one last story - Curaleaf started recently offering cartridges, which is wonderful. They sell the vape pen to go along with the cartridges for $15. I bought one of these pens. It broke within 2 weeks of buying it (the USB piece split open, glue was weak). So recently they had a promotion - buy 4 cartridges get a free vape pen. I went down on Friday, walked in, and found out the computers were not working, so they had literally a line of 50 people in the lobby - and everyone was frustrated. I turned right around and walked out. Saturday I went back to buy 4 Blue Dream cartridges and get the free pen. They were out of Blue Dream when I got there (on the phone they say it was in), so i just bought 2 other cartridges and walked out (no free pen). Finally this morning I went back (a 3rd time!) and bought the 4 Blue Dream cartridges. She hands them to me and I said, "Can I get that free vape pen?", and she says, "That promotion ended last night". I laugh and said, "I was here during the promotion and your computers were down and you couldn't sell anything.... could you make an exception?" Welllll... you can only imagine what this lead to. "Please step aside Sir and wait for Rob..." I wait. 10 minutes. Nobody tells "Rob" I'm there to see him. All this for a free vape pen. I'm starting to feel like an idiot. I walk over to the front desk. Find Rob. Tell the story. He proceeds to "Manage" me, looks me up in the system, disappears for awhile, then comes back and says they can offer me a pen... next time they run a promotion, but not now. I laugh and say, "Rob, this isn't about $15... It's about the principle..." He then asks me to step into his office and fill out an official complaint form. I tell him this is embarrassing and I leave. Come home. Write this review. So... long story short? Decent product, but nasty, ice-cold customer service. They might look like the "Apple Store" of cannabis on the outside, but they aren't anything even close to Apple when it comes to how to treat people. read more
