I've spent more money renewing my license and going to her office that I have actually spent inside of dispensaries. I don't have smokable marijuana on my card and yet I have visited her office three times. now I'm being told by a doctor that works with her that I need to physically come into the location every 35 days to get a renewal and this was never instructed to me at any point in time. if the policy in Florida changed then I feel it's my physician's responsibility to notify me that my smokable marijuana has a termination date of every 35 days. Now I'm getting calls from the business. if you want to know the determining factor of this review it's simple. when I ask for help I received a call from a doctor who is partnered with the organization. When I picked up the phone I explained the situation and the first words that came out of his mouth were, "well I see you had to cancel your last appointment so I'm not obligated to do anything for you". When I called her the day before my appointment notifying her I would have to reschedule for a later date at no point in time did dr. Wong notify me that if I did not come in I would not be able to receive any sort of treatment from any dispensary. My card doesn't expire until November, to my knowledge and from what my doctor has explained to me I'm able to purchase anything but smokable marijuana up until that card expires. If the policy in the State of Florida changed she could have made me aware of what my requirements are to fill with her in order to be able to stay medicated, as a physician she failed to notify in detail what the patient needs to do in order to stay medicated. had she communicated this clearly or at all for that matter I would be avoiding these problems being that I would have scheduled appointments prior to all my prescriptions being expired. instead I just don't get what I need from a dispensary leave agitated and I'm asked to come to an appointment with no detailed description or reason why when my previous phone call I was ensured that I would be able to purchase. All these things come from a lack of training, research, and understanding of the industry to be able to provide an ample service to those who need to be medicated. The first time I had a problem it was okay because there were multiple occasions prior to this where I had gone to dispensaries and going to change anything because I had just received my card and my prescriptions but I've already seen the doctor three times once to apply once to receive the card and receive my first prescription and the third time to receive my prescription for smokable marijuana. during those three visits she notified me that I needed to come in after 6 months and after a year and that's it. at no point in time during any of our other phone calls or communication was I ever notified about any other thing that I needed to do. not only is there a 35 day expiration on smokable marijuana but there is also a 70 day expiration on all products. Instead I'm greeted by a doctor on the phone who I've never met to just reprimand me for not coming into their office for what seemed to be a casual check up. my biggest issue is that I have always conveyed a sense of urgency because I need this medication and they just say "oops, or sorry" and don't do anything to better inform me or to keep me from having a lapse in medication. again I would have never had a problem coming in every single month into this organization because if that's the narrative that was given to me by my physician I would gladly follow because I trust my physician. my physician failed to instruct me as to what I need to do other than just smoke weed. I think I'm capable of understanding how to get high, realistically these facilities are utilized so that you can medicate correctly and legally. I think their aim is not to get people medicated but to get people to come back in so they can charge a fee for visitation. I would have gladly been fooled into paying those appointment fees had my physician had told me that that was a requirement but at no point in time was that ever a conversation and I I've continued lapse in my medication which directly affects my mental health I'll do to the lock of leadership and responsibilities my physician is supposed to incur. I've only done as told and yet I have services paid for that don't help me stay medicated or sane. It's really upsetting because if I had a serious problem such as seizures and my medication lapses that would greatly reduced my quality of life and these physicians don't consider that aspect. Too many doctors are trying to retire in Miami with this industry and we have waited too long in Florida to have services that offer medication like this be squandered by middlemen and organizations like this. read more
