I use to rely on a cane a walker prior to accupunture treatment. Now i can nearly walk without them. I use a walking stick like a hicker's walking stick for stability but i can walk. The treatment I received from David Grimes works. I will not kid you though. The treatment helps to ease the muscles. At the beginning of treatment it is rouhh but i recommend a hot shower perhaps medical marijuana or a massage prior to help as the needles can smart a little going in but you get use to it. Its very important to know as you continue the treatment it gets better and the needles are less noticeable. Don't give up but continue until you finish the therapy. 10 minutes of prep and you just relax and let the heat lamps and electric massage and needles do the work. Back in March I went on a cruise and did acupuncture. It all but made the sciatic pain disappear (about 90%). When I returned I mentioned it to someone at work and found out that my insurance covers acupuncture as long as I go to an in network facility. I went to one and was unhappy with it. I then found this place. Florida Complete Wellness is located in the Publix shopping center on Volunteer Road. The door is a little hidden, but parking is easy. Pros: both drs are amazing! The rooms are clean and the doctors are friendly and caring. They have similar styles, so I feel comfortable seeing either one. This makes it easy to fit into my crazy schedule. They have amazing hours and I have been able to schedule on Saturday and Sunday. They know my benefit and in addition to the acupuncture, I am able to also get a massage as well (if I schedule same time). The massage therapist is also amazing and super friendly. Being able to walk and sit makes it all worth having to talk myself into needles (yes, I am super needle phobic). Cons: ZERO! This place ROCKS!

They had a nice big flat screen TV in the reception which made my wait barely noticeable. DR- She is extremely nice and polite. So genuinely concerned and listened to all my crazy rants and medical history ups and downs. She was very receptive to all my comments and offered great advice and even helped me with recommendations on other specialists i should see. She even had the front desk girl make copies with specialist information and wrote referrals so i wouldn't have any problems with my insurance covering my services. She also took down the names of all my prescription meds and found cheaper alternatives and then sent them directly to my pharmacy so i wouldn't even have to bother dropping them off WOW! this place is really amazing and understands people and how to take care of them and their needs.
