Let me start here...I have stage IV metastatic breast cancer. The meds I take cause aches and then to top it all off, it appears that I also have sciatic pain (and not minor). Back in March I went on a cruise and did acupuncture. It all but made the sciatic pain disappear (about 90%). When I returned I mentioned it to someone at work and found out that my insurance covers acupuncture as long as I go to an in network facility. I went to one and was unhappy with it. I then found this place. Florida Complete Wellness is located in the Publix shopping center on Volunteer Road. The door is a little hidden, but parking is easy. Pros: both drs are amazing! The rooms are clean and the doctors are friendly and caring. They have similar styles, so I feel comfortable seeing either one. This makes it easy to fit into my crazy schedule. They have amazing hours and I have been able to schedule on Saturday and Sunday. They know my benefit and in addition to the acupuncture, I am able to also get a massage as well (if I schedule same time). The massage therapist is also amazing and super friendly. Being able to walk and sit makes it all worth having to talk myself into needles (yes, I am super needle phobic). Cons: ZERO! This place ROCKS! read more

Ahhh what can I say except Carol has magic hands! Sue unblocked my fallopian tube. Every doctor wanted to operate. Every single one only offered surgery as an option. Thank God my best friend is a doctor of physical therapy and advise me into seeking a fertility massage therapist. After six sessions I returned for another hysterosalpingogram to Have the doctor tell me that my tubes were perfectly normal. My initial HSG was four years ago where I learned my fallopian tube was blocked, then I had a second HSG in January of this year. Found Carol in February and had my third HSG in May where I was told everything is normal. I will caution you that the massage is briefly painful but you can take it! read more

I bought a Groupon for a 30 minute microdermabrasion and facial. This office is located in a large office building. It took me some time to find the suite but I did after a few loop arounds. When I walked in I saw a guy at a desk, he checked me in. The office had a few rooms and it was small; it looked fairly new to me. I was called into the room and was asked to lay down on the bed. The room smelled good and it was very serene. She started off by cleansing my face. Then she started the microdermabrasion. The microdermabrasion feels like a suction with small scrapes; it doesn't hurt. It is for the rejuvenation of your skin by clearing off the dead skin cells. Then the esthetician started with the steamer and facial. She massaged my face, neck, and scalp. That was very lovely and relaxing. The esthetician was very nice and is good at what she does. I wish I remembered her name! She had dark hair and is half Asian. I think the owner is a blonde woman that works there. They also offer acupuncture and massages. Overall, it's a nice spot for a spa day! read more

I have been going here for acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Mayan Abdominal Massage for about 3 months now and have already experienced WONDERFUL results. Dr Celada and Dr Aracena are both amazing, and Roxy the Receptionist is super sweet. The doctors are highly knowledgeable, very experienced, and most importantly, they are *passionate* about helping people get their bodies back in balance. Keep in mind though, they do not offer overnight miracle pills. They offer real solutions and treatment plans that you have to stick with if you want to see results. I went here for a groupon one hour facial. I did expect a doctors office kind of feel but the place looks like furniture was just dropped there. The first thought was like oh boy, this place is run down. The rooms are spacious and have a welcoming vibe but it's not designed to be relaxing. During my facial I could hear people laughing and talking; I'm not sure if it was people next door or if it was the staff out front. My aesthetician was AMAZING. Very nice! My face feels like a million bucks. I would go back just to see her again because honestly I don't think my skin has ever felt this good. Florida Complete Wellness saved me from giving up my dream! I came to Farrar and Joesee after I was diagnosed with bone edema and have had left tibia/muscle pain for over 4 months while training for my first full marathon. At that time, the race was only two months away and I could not run more than 10 miles each week because of the pain. I was desperate and thought that I would have to give up the race. Farrar and Joesee are the best team for my injury, with deep massage followed by acupuncture, I was able to keep up and ramp up my training gradually. A little update to my previous review. They have now changed their pricing. The sessions are $39.00, if you are a member. This way the previous session price comes down to about 10-15$ less per session. I thought that was an improvement. Is it cheap ? No, but it a speciality acupuncturist helping with hormal issues and fertility. If you want regular acupuncuture I recommend group sessions where the price is supstantially less. read more

Very unprofessional place. I had an appointment for a Maya massage (which I had done before somewhere else, but was trying someplace new) and the first time should be @ 2.5 hrs long (including consultation and treatment at $200.... well, they were done with me in about in about 1 hrs! including the time it took to fill out the extensive 'first timer' form - I was not told what the process was, they just put me in a room and told me someone will be there soon. Then the Dr. came in, I have no idea what her name was since she didn't even introduced herself to me...didn't say a word about my medical history... asked me if I've had that massage done before and by whom... when I told her yes, she told me that she does things differently. Yes, she was right.. because she sucks! - she was very light on her massage and told me the chiropractic treatment would be best for me...she put the needles on one side of my body and said for the other side I would have to come back... and that I needed to go every week! at $150 per week... I don't think so... when I complained about the little time they took to treat me, they said they would just give me some extra time when I go back! - I said... Kim was wonderful for the actual facial. But the front desk lady is so rude it isn't worth the hassle. I have been twice and both times she has acted like she was doing me a favor. Never greeted me. Handed me paperwork that was so faded from being copied it was barely readable. At one point Kim came out and told me it was ok to have a seat. Several women were just sort of standing around. But the front desk lady didn't help anyone and when she did speak it was very hateful. Had me pull up groupon on my phone like I was a criminal trying to get away with something. Came for an organic facial with Kim. She was wonderful. So warm and friendly and made sure I felt comfortable during the whole process. Very professional. Nice and clean. My only complaint was the front desk was quite rude. Called for help with directions, she didn't help much, probably because I was running late. "free" consultation leaves 90% out, gives a few "discount pkgs" for acupuncture 10-15% of "program" so $2100 for 24ish 22-24 min of acupuncture is max 15% of "program." at $170 visit, prior to which they've said they take insurance for their "services" you find o main service, their special "pure elements" supplements aren't covered big shock the $800-$2000+ a month they expect you to buy, isn't covered! the best part is, only on your 1st visit when you say you can't afford all that money for their 10 bottles/mo or 20 pills/day that they can't help you!! how awful is that to tell a couple trying to conceive,that you just left needles in you can't help them? they can't help you because you won't pay for their brand, overpriced, supplements, they have plenty of appointments as we had 6pp, yet as soon as i was going to buy a brand for 1/6th $, they'd decided they couldn't help us & they'd refer us to an acupuncturist! also, on our very 1st session, the "main acupuncturist/magic stomach massage therapist/do aka "dr." left 2 needles in my hand & foot! they don't count how many they put in and take out! very professional! beware, don't be fooled into their "genetic test for diet" if you want a genetic test get a comprehensive full panal from a real dr. it tells you everything not just diet. it's covered by medicare & private insurance but you can only get 1 test/yr so don't get their's diet only 1! get a full 1 so you'll have all your genetic info not just what foods groups might be best bc of what kind of metabolizer you are! real comprehensive genetic panal is also a mouth swabs! another joke is their "nutrition plan," for $40.00pp/per visit, you get a 2-3pg copy out of a book before you leave. it says your "static" for ex: (from 2sec look at your tongue diagnosis) so your "nutrition plan" should be 20%protein from animals, 20% protein (vegan), 40% green veg 10% fat (not meat) 10% complex carbs! that's it! no calorie intake, suggested foods, meals! now you get this amazing couple pages after the miracle diagnosis of looking at the color of generally 5 sections of the tongue & the color & how pronounced your tastebuds are on your tongue & where! it's a miracle bc anyone w/a smartphone can diagnosis by googling how in 3 min! they should be shut down! they rob good, honest, hard working people & promise they'll change your life (for a lot of $$). whether it's overall health, diet, acupuncture, or whatever, eastern or western medicine, i swear on my life, you can find any & all of these services at tons of other places for much less $ (almost $100 for 22min acupuncture)? i've never written a review but they sheer awe i'm in is unreal & if i help 10 people from going here & choosing anywhere else, i feel like i've seriously helped 10 people! read more
