Glad the new Korean casual fast food opened up in Vienna! There are a variety of bowls "cups" to choose from with meaty and veggie options with free add-on toppings. You can order from the kiosk. There's plenty of indoor seating for solo and groups with a couple of outdoor tables. The #7 Fried Tofu Bowl was tasty! The fried tofu was light and airy and seasoned well in marinated soy garlic sauce. I was pleasantly surprised as tofu is usually dense and stiff. The Jap Chae noodles were flavorful and wish it was an option for a base instead of rice or salad. While the mixed greens were healthy, I would opt for the brown rice. The crunchy seaweed and the corn along with Yum Yum and Teriyaki sauce helped to round out the bowl. It would be nice if more veggies were offered as toppings. The advertising is a bit misleading as the bowls don't come with the spring roll. The 2 tiny Spring Rolls are extra, The crispy Spring Rolls were pipping hot, and yes - worth the $2 upcharge (although I wish they were complimentary of the bowl!) Excited to come back for another tofu bowl (I'll hold on the spring roll this time!)

Have driven by this place so many times and finally decided to stop in. So glad that I did! The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful! I ordered a beef bulgogi bowl with all the toppings. The beef was tender and packed with flavor. The rest of the sides were also very fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend trying this out!

Been wanting to try this place out for a while since they recently opened. Located in the small plaza infront of the Tyson's Walmart.. they specialize in protein rice bowls with different toppings along with other sides too. You can order with the staff or there's two kiosks, but the guy working was super friendly and helpful. The menu is pretty straightforward and you can pick what toppings you want/don't want in the bowl. Process is very similar to ordering a poke bowl. I got the soy sauce beef bulgogi bowl w/ rice base, japchae, kimchi, corn, and furikake and it was so yummy. The bulgogi was tasty and good quality. I think the portion is great for the price as well. I wish they had this around when I was a kid because I would always have to beg my parents to go to a Kbbq place just to get bulgogi (they always said no). I also tried the soy garlic chicken which was so good and a good portion to either enjoy by yourself or share with others. Definitely want to come back to try their 1person tteokbokki side dish next. Ambiance is very cute too. Very clean inside with TVs playing music videos. Definitely give this place a try!

Saw recently open and I wanted to check it out. I like Korean food, and the fast-casual style is a great combination, too. I had the tteok-galbi. The cashier was nice enough to explain that it was a mix of ground pork and ground beef. It has a great flavor. I also had spicy chicken for extra. My only complaint is that the rectangle box was a little bit annoying to eat out of. Other than that, it's a great casual spot for lunch that I would recommend.

Cupspops!! You gotta try their rice bowl (aka Korean bibimbap)! (Located outside part of Walmart shopping center.) Cupspops shop got variety of proteins to choose from and veggies/toppings and different types of sauces! Food is fresh! Fresh veggies, toppings and well balanced sauces. All meats looked well cooked. My husband and I got both got grilled pork. Mine I chose soy grilled pork and hubby got spicy gochujang pork. Our bowls were packed!! So much food!! My grilled pork definitely had the grilled smokey flavor and if you like that grilled flavor you will like this! It was good! My husband and I both love spicy food so their spicy level wasn't as spicy as we want but the sauces tastes good and flavorful. You can customize your bowl, add or leave out ingredients. But we got everything in it. The shop owner and employees are all super friendly and helpful!! We will definitely go back for more and try their other bowls!!

I stumbled upon this place while in the Tysons Corner area. I was immediately drawn to the Bulls as I was in a bulgogi mood. Service was very quick and friendly. The menu was easy to read. They have a variety of chicken, beef, and tofu bowls. They have a lot of delicious looking sides you could order. The actual Bowl was priced well and a good size. I couldn't finish it on my own, so it could be good for two people or one very hungry person. They give you three sauces, and all the sauces I tried were excellent. I especially like the spicy mayo and teriyaki sauces. The flavors of the food went well together and there was a variety of toppings that made it fun to eat. There is seating indoors and it is good for a families. They also have a soda/water station. I highly recommend this restaurant and would happily eat here again!

I did not love my experience at this place. The cashier - young lady was very pleasant but wasn't familiar with store policies. The male was unpleasant. There was not smile, no "thank-you," no "kindness." Albeit brief, the interaction was enough for me to conclude that this is not a place that I would return to. The chicken was JUST okay. The sauce was sticky but I didn't taste the spice. The sweet spicy gangjung does not come with any sides. I captured a picture of the sides of the bowl for visualization of the portion size compared to the price point. I paid $15.89 for a side of chicken. To manage expectations, the spicy chicken at BonChon is better and better priced per portion. Looking at the receipt, I see why they say no refunds because the chicken is not good, but the customer has no recourse.

Cupspops is a new build-your-own bowl restaurant that is a Korean twist on a not-to-be-named Mexican-style fast causal restaurant. Located in the Tysons West shopping area of Tysons Corner, this fairly new restaurant is off to a great start. I stopped by and built my own bowls. I tried a bowl with the spicy pork bulgogi as well as the crispy chicken. These meats are so flavorful! You can also pick your own base (I chose rice), and add on a variety of toppings such as kimchi salad, lettuce, and scrambled egg. And don't forget to top it all off with a sauce. I got the gochuchang sauce, and also a side of Buldak on the side (that is super spicy, be careful!) The service here was super quick and friendly. You can choose to either order at the counter or using the kiosk on the side, whichever you prefer. The portions were a good size for the price. This fast casual restaurant is so good, I wish that they'd open more throughout Northern Virginia.

This place has such a great vibe and atmosphere! It would be such a great place to go with friends & take cute photos to show off your lunch spot. We ordered two different options to try both, the chicken #2 and the beef galbi #6. The galbi was considerably better than the chicken so I'd recommend the beef! I think I need to come again and switch up my order to really find a combination of items I like together. Aside from their main dishes if the bowls, they have a variety of beer and other sweet drinks to choose from! They also have a variety of ice cream bars/desserts in the fridge which is so thoughtful! The two workers (maybe also owners?) were so kind and seemed to have a lot of joy in their new restaurant and they should! It was a great visit. Only real reason it wasn't a full 5 stars is that, it was a bit expensive and the bowl it self wasn't anything super special (it was good! but not necessary amazing). I would still recommend as a place to check out and support a small business!

First time here. Ordered Spicy Chicken (extra chicken), white rice, sweet corn, scrambled egg, crunchy seaweed, fried dumplings (2 pcs) & yum yum sauce. First of all, very nice looking and clean restaurant. It was easy to order and pay at the kiosk with a cc. Mind you, I got it to go so it might not be as good as eating it there. And it was around 4 pm. Not prime dinner time. HOWEVER, maybe it was an off day but what I had did not justify the 4.9 star rating. The spicy chicken was mealy and didn't taste fresh. Like it was sitting around as was the corn (not sweet), cold scrambled eggs & stale seaweed. The rice was way overcooked and mushy! How can one screw up rice in a rice cooker???? The only saving grace was the fried pork dumplings. Even if they were luke warm, they were still crispy and had a flavorful pork filling. I might give this place another chance but if I get the same quality again, I will definitely not be back. I hope the owner or manager sees this review. Even though it wasn't prime lunchtime or dinnertime, the food should always be fresh & not be sitting around for hours. I really wanted to like this place but this first impression, was definitely a poor one. And for $17.44 for a rice bowl is pretty expensive, even for Tysons!

Sweet Spicy fried chicken gangjung, with white rice, rice noodles, corn, egg and greens, topped with the very spicy buldak sauce..

I've been waiting for Cupspops to open, and didn't realize as I biked past that it's been open for 2 weeks now. So, of course, I stopped by for some great Korean BBQ chicken! This is a typical bowl restaurant where you order the main protein and then the rest of the bowl, which I got rice, some greens, rice noodles, corn and egg. I topped it with their spicy buldak sauce. The chicken is mildly sweet and spicy, good flavor, the outside very crispy. Perfect!! The spicy buldak sauce I got on top was very spicy, but I love spicy so it was a great choice. Next time I will get more on top. The corn, rice noodles and greens were good, especially with the buldak sauce. I ate about half of it, and then saved the rest for later since I wasn't planning on eating when I stopped by, but seeing it is open I had to stop, and I recommend everyone stop by since it really is very good!

Went on a Friday night. Not busy, only one other customer finishing up. Staff were super friendly and helpful! We ordered a spicy chicken bowl, beef bulgogi bowl and a beef galbi bowl. You have a variety of free add ons...I literally asked for all of them! There's several sauces to choose from too...I asked for Baldak which may be the spiciest and yum yum sauce. It had a nice kick but I could have done spicier lol. The place was very clean and bright. We definitely will be back! The bowls are very flavorful and filling!

Do you know if any restaurants around here serve vegetarian Jjajangmyeon, or if there's a Korean restaurant that offers a good version of it?

I'd just call them. Maybe they can make it for you if you order in advance? I've only ever seen it with pork otherwise. Jjajang Bokum Bap is like my favorite and would love to know if any place has it vegetarian myself.

Their proteins and fries are perfect, their salad is cold and crisp, and the execution of their rice is consistently the benchmark. First off though: the lighting is really harsh. It's Temu hexagonal 10000K bright white led honeycombs from blaze hell. The walls are primer black, and there are no paper towels in the bathrooms. Solution: I almost always get my food to-go. I flip flop between the Falafel Platter and the Mixed (Chicken + Lamb Gyro) Platter with the following no-charge mod: NO fries, MORE salad. This leaves the rice alone - you will get rice - and it is a very long grain, saffroned, Basmati rice that is distinctively al dente. Not fluffy or clumpy - they are highly separated and firm rice grains, and I absolutely love it this way. This rice blows the competition far and away. If you like fries, they are good - they're the double-fried "Burger King" style and keep their heat decently well in the to-go clamshell. The sauces are quite special. I like them all. I always ask for the following on-the-side (no zig-zags for me): the white (tahini-like), the green (cilantro), the red (spicy), the orange (signature Blazin spice). There are a couple of others, but I find these 4 create a nice balance. Oh and the late-night hours secure the 5-star rating. This can feel like the perfect late-night food - thanks to the owners for accommodating the late-night fans. Quickie review notes: The burger is just okay - the patty should be bigger. The Chopped Cheese is convincing, but not the best value item, IMO. The milkshakes are very tasty!

It's messy, over-the-top, and absolutely delicious. Don't skip the Blazin Sunset drink either--half strawberry, half mango and super refreshing. Perfect balance to the savory food. If you're hungry and want something fun, flavorful, and different from the usual, this is the spot. I'll definitely be back (with extra napkins).
