I recently visited this location with a friend and had an uncomfortable experience. My friend approached the counter to order, and for some reason, the staff member did not want to serve him. He came back to our table upset and explained what happened. I personally did not react or say anything. I was simply observing. Shortly after, the same staff member began speaking loudly from inside the counter area about us. I honestly could not hear exactly what was said, and it did not personally bother me. However, in customer service, professionalism and respectful communication are very important. I am not taking sides, and I did not see my friend being rude. What I did notice was the staff member speaking loudly in a way that felt unprofessional. This gets four because it was definitely better than other locations. We ordered the honey walnut shrimp, the broccoli beef, and the fried rice. Each dish was pretty good( for American Chinese food) but we probably could have passed on the beef. The broccoli was a bit undercooked and the beef was a bit starchy. As far as the service, I didn't order so I don't know, but the food did come out pretty fast so that was good. I tried to stop in here to grab a quick bite, but the food was less than desirable. Staff were either conversing with one another or regular customers so they weren't attentive to customers. You couldn't pay me to take one of those premade tea cups and drink the contents. They looked disgusting. I wanted an egg roll originally, but as you can see from my picture they were a train wreck. I was desperate so I decided to risk it and get spring rolls instead because they looked good. The food was okay at this extremely busy Tysons Corner mall location, but there were no walnuts at all in the honey walnut chicken and they still use styrofoam containers and insist on putting plastic lids on all bowls even when we asked them not to. I went to eat here with my kids last week. First of all let me share the service was horrible. The food wasn't ready so not big deal I told them I would wait. So after 20 mins later I finally see someone put the food in the pan to cook. All the employees were just standing there like deer with headlights like they didn't know what they were doing to get all the customers food ready. I gave the person on the other side of the counter my usually order and As I waited for to gather the food I looked down near the food was a an upside down cockroach trying to flip itself over and another smaller black bug I couldn't identify. I informed the lady serving the food about it and she put the try away and got mad at me. The food is not that great, the Lo Mein Noodles doesn't taste good, I find it very crispy for some odd reason. The orange chicken doesn't taste like chicken but the flavoring they use is good I will say that.
