I'm a fan of their cupcakes, but not so much the frozen yogurt. It might be because I prefer ice cream over frozen yogurt, but I found the froyo to be bland and not really creamy. Tasted like maybe there was too much water content when it was being frozen. If I'm going to get dessert, might as well get the real thing instead of trying to make it "healthy". You do get your choice of toppings and there are a lot to choose from! On to the cupcakes! They have great flavor combinations with their cake and frosting. I've like all of the flavors of cupcakes I've tried. My favorite is the berry white which is a vanilla cupcake with blueberries and strawberries baked in and its topped with a buttercream frosting that also has strawberries mixed in. The biscotto crunch is also delicious - it was a surprise biscotti filling and cream cheese frosting. Unfortunately they don't provide any discounts or deals for bulk purchases - so you pay for each cupcake individually, even if you order a dozen. read more

I've been to Cup Love 22 times in a five month period. I love this place. Actually I love froyo. Cup love is fun, fast, and convenient to restaurant goers on Canton's O'Donnell Square. The decor is bright and fun, especially the tables which are unique. They have about eight flavors at any given time. The best is the Salted Caramel, something I've never seen elsewhere. For topping you'll find all the favorites, from candy to sprinkles. My favorite is the cinnamon breakfast cereal things. They also sell cupcakes but I've never had them. My girlfriend loves them though. Finally, I'm happy to report they no longer have a credit card minimum--but, that's never been an issue to me ;) Five stars for great frozen yogurt, flavors and toppings, decor and staff. This place really, truly cares about customer feedback and input. I'm looking forward to going again. This review is for the cupcakes and the service; I haven't tried their froyo yet. It really is a lovely place, and such a great location. Clean, modern decor, well-lit, tables if you'd like to stay, pink tulips, and a great display for the beautifully-constructed cupcakes. I try not to be a cupcake snob, but I am a little particular. I had the Oreo cupcake and tried my friend's triple-chocolate as well, and then a bite of the Butterfinger cupcake I took home. I wanted so badly to love them, but I wasn't too impressed. If you're piping that much icing on the top, make sure your filling isn't the same exact texture/consistency. It was like one fell swoop of an icing bite all the way through. The cake itself wasn't too bad but I could barely taste it unless consciously separating the bits that I could from the overwhelming amount of icing/filling. And all the flavors were the same, even with a creamy vanilla frosting - the same sweet chocolate note carried the whole cupcake. Part of my issue was that my cupcake was microwaved before it was served to me. Had I been asked, I would have declined. No one wants a room-temperature cupcake extra-warmed to the point at which the fats in the icing are separating. It was beautifully presented though, served to me with an artful chocolate/vanilla sauce garnish. Another issue I had was the fifteen-minute wait for the cup of coffee I ordered. The idea of coffee and dessert (for me, anyway) is to enjoy them together. The cupcake was so overwhelmingly sweet that I desperately needed the bitterness of the coffee, but despite ordering the two together, the coffee came out much, much later. During the time I was waiting I saw the woman who was supposed to have made/served my coffee piping icing and ringing up customers who came in in the the meantime...? She was very nice, but it was irritating, and so were the coffee grounds all over my cup. Yikes. Overall, not too bad, but I was unimpressed and most likely won't return unless to try the froyo. read more

I think there are 8 flavors to pick from on the pour your own fro yo, and I think two of them change and the others stay in place, a couple that are low fat. They have a good selection of toppings, but don't go overboard or you'll pay a lot after its weighed. Most of the flavors I like, but they don't allow free taste samples unfortunately. As for the cupcakes, they really look nice and they have a good selection at the front display. A friend bought my fiancé a dozen for her birthday selected at random, and all the girls seemed to enjoy them. I don't think they're the best I've had, but their presentation is a big part of it. The atmosphere is very cute: some local artwork, small tables with cafe feel, bright. Extra points for allowing dogs inside. Some employees are really nice and outgoing, some are more reserved and cold. BISCOTTI ....Omg! There aren't enough words to describe how delicious this cupcake was. I came on a whim because I needed something sweet. I was leaving Fells Point so I Yelped for a cupcake place that was open. This was near the highway and made it easy for me to loop around and head back to DC. Okay I enter and explain how I'm torn between the biscotti and the cookie dough. Without any hesitation, the man says get the biscotti, done deal. I actually eat it if first thing in the morning the next day and H-U-N-T-I and was ridiculously surprised. Like without even taking a sip of my coffee I was wide awake looking down at this small cake like, wwwoooww!! Not only was the cake moist but the frosting it was like a whipped marshmallow or something. Like I was expecting the smoothness of buttercream but what I got was light, fluffy, whipped goodness. But then I got to the biscotti gooneyness in the middle and all I could think was why didn't he tell me I needed to get two of these. Not to mention, this was next day so I can only imagine what a fresh one tastes like. I'm currently about to drive back up to Baltimore to get another one. I do not generally like cake but the cupcakes have the delicate balance of existing as a sweet dessert without being too sweet. They balance that line perfectly, and have a depth of flavor that clearly demonstrates the quality of ingredients. Also a fantastic vegan cupcake as well! I've been here twice both times for their frozen yogurt. Both times were very pleasant experiences. The shop is really cute and small but located in the perfect spot to take a stroll if the weather permits. They have a nice variety of fresh toppings for your yogurt and bear of all they have actual cake pieces you can add including yellow, red velvet, and chocolate. Being that I love cake that's right up my ally! I have yet to try their actual cupcakes although they look absolutely amazing. Right now I have a favorite cupcake place that sits close to my heart but I'll definitely come back for the frozen yogurt. Who knows maybe one day I'll try a cupcake too! read more

As a warning, this location brings a lot of small children, and they even have children's toys in the corner, so don't come if you're not a fan of that. Went in here on a Sunday night for a cupcake craving. We were very disappointed with the freshness. Tasted like it was made days ago. My husband got the salted caramel which tasted very stale. The cupcake was hard and crumbly. There was a thick, bland icing which was too much for the small cupcake. I got the chocolate buttercream cupcake. They don't have as many toppings as other froyo places but I just liked the greek yogurt they used here and would come back for that. I walked over to cup love since it was within 2 blocks of my house, upon entering the establishment with my brother we were treated rude and disrespectful about trying to see what flavor we wanted. It didn't make sense for us to just pick a random flavor and put topping on it and potentially pay for something we wouldn't like. Upon simply asking for a spoon I was treated as if I couldn't afford a $7 cup of ice cream. Very unprofessional, need to hire staff with more people skills. Maybe it's was racially motivated?
