I am just looking for estimates first along with meeting you and feeling your enthusiasm for the project. After meeting and texting with you, and reviewing your photos, my job may have been out of scope for you. We talked, he took some pics and measurements, and we shook hands and agreed to work together. I put together some drawings of how I wanted the design, we met again, flushed some things out and agreed on a plan. He provided me a very concise and clear written quote, I signed, and we agreed on a start time a little later in the summer, better for both of us. End of August, they got started, and BAM, they were on it. These guys are awesome, hard working, smart, focused, and absolutely know how to maximize their time. What they accomplished in two weeks is still mindblowing to me. I have mostly worked things by myself, around the house, and this would have taken me a whole summer to get done, maybe longer. Everything came out exactly as planned. It looks soooo great, absolutely exceeded my expectations. I can't stress how much I enjoyed the process of just watching it all come together. I searched online for a contractors license and couldn't find one that came back to Andy Winn's name. I'm not even sure that he has a license to do the work he is contracted to do. No contractors license to do any kind of masonry or concrete work. For your own sanity look elsewhere. I wanted to leave a zero star review, but was unable to.

We asked for a bid for additional work --- adding a front walk and a side walk in the back and ripping out our entire front yard and about 1/3 of our backyard (to be covered in mulch). Bobcat guy they used -- 5 stars. and that's when it started to fall apart - Not sure if he didn't have a big enough crew for the job, or if they lacked the ability to work more than 3 hours a day without bailing. By the time they wanted to wrap up the job, there were so many unfinished tasks - they rushed and left us with cleaning up after them. 6 weeks after they finished the job (and were paid) we've just spent the 5th weekend in a row clearing mulch, removing yards of weeds and had to have a professional plumber come in to finish the irrigation installation. An altogether disappointing experience.
