Dave did an amazing job from start to finish. He and his team are incredibly professional, and every single person I interacted with was respectful, friendly, hardworking, and genuinely cared about doing a great job. You can truly tell this is a family-owned business, and that shows in the quality of their work and the way they treat their customers. The concrete turned out beautiful, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. Dave personally paid attention to every detail, constantly checking every part of the project to make sure everything was done right. His pride in his work is obvious. Thank you, Dave, and thank you to your entire team for the amazing work. The results speak for themselves. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for top-quality concrete work. read more

We could not be more pleased with our experience working with Dave and Western Concrete Designs. Dave is excellent to work with--transparent, honest, dependable, and very reasonable with his pricing. We had the majority of the concrete in both our front and back yards replaced because the original work had not been done well. From the beginning, Dave took the time to listen carefully to our concerns and understand exactly how we wanted the finished concrete to look. Based on what we shared, he offered thoughtful recommendations that helped ensure the final result was exactly what we were hoping to achieve. Throughout the entire project, Dave and his team were timely, communicative, efficient, and extremely respectful of our home, yard, and landscaping. At the end of each day, they took the time to thoroughly clean the work areas and made sure we still had safe, convenient pathways to any areas we needed to access. One thing that especially impressed us was that Dave was onsite and present every day, overseeing the work and coordinating closely with his team. His attention to detail and personal involvement throughout the project gave us tremendous confidence that everything was being done properly. The finished product looks fantastic, and based on the quality of the work, the communication, the professionalism, and the overall experience, we would highly recommend Dave and Western Concrete Designs to anyone looking for concrete work. read more

I highly receommend Western Concrete Designs. I needed a step added outside my front door and another concrete pad on the side of my house. They were prompt, professional and friendly. I highly recommend and will be using them for another project in the near future. read more

Wished I hadn't wasted time with the other concrete companies when this one is FAR superior! That's why it's the only one that had a waitlist for my job. I am so grateful to have found Western Concrete and grateful that I was patient and waited for their availability. It was completely worth it. Trust me, the other guys were scary and slimy in comparison, and the price of these guys was amongst the Best as well. I am very frugal and almost always cut corners to get the best price. NOW I know from experience NOT to do that with Concrete! My first "Contractor" was a absolute disaster. But finally, I have a decent and beautiful pathway. read more

I recently had Dave Vasquez, owner (mobile 916 370-7142), and his team at Western Concrete Designs complete a fairly complex project for me, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The job involved integrating a ramp down my side yard with a large concrete pad, several sets of steps, and even a built-in bench. From start to finish, Dave was professional, straightforward, and honest. His pricing was competitive, and he and his crew finished the entire job in just two days. As someone who is detail-oriented, I was impressed by the quality of their work--clean lines, a consistent broom finish, and perfectly straight lines throughout. I highly recommend Western Concrete Designs and Dave Vasquez to anyone looking for quality concrete work done right the first time. read more

Western Concrete Designs did an excellent job on our driveway! I was having difficulties deciding on texture and color - every suggestion that Dave made was great! He texted addresses for me to check out his work and one of the owners was outside when we drove by and praised Dave and his crew - his driveway was HUGE and looked awesome. The crew did a really great job cleaning up each night. We will definitely recommend his company to all of our friends. read more

We had the sloped section of our driveway crumble and had to replace it. We contacted David at Western Concrete Designs. He came out and gave about 3 proper written quotes for different options and prices and we decided to go with this vendor. His communication was excellent throughout and he was always very responsive, even for every little question or concern I had. Scheduling was easy and the job took place on the day planned. They used steel reinforcements and left a nice, smooth brush finish on top. It looks to me like a really professional job. Now it's dry I'm very happy with the result. The old version had a hump in it and they made the new one better than the old one and got rid of the hump which is great. We have another section we'd like to do in the future and plan to go back to David and his team. read more

If you're looking to have a concrete job done in Sacramento, you can stop your search here. Dave and his team are the most experienced and most capable to execute on whatever concrete job you may have, and they stand by their work and your satisfaction. Case in point, I had Dave and his team pour a new driveway for me and I realized after the fact that I had screwed up on my plans, and needed to modify it to put a gate in. Dave's empathy for his clients' needs is clear, and he worked with me to come up with a new plan and make modifications and pour some new concrete at an amazing price because he wanted his client to be happy and get the project completed. We needed front yard cement work done and when we were ready, we got bids from all the 5 star companies on Yelp. ALL the companies presented themselves very well...but my husband really liked David from Western Concrete Designs presentation. The work was done in October 2022...and the front yard cement work turned out way better than we had even imagined. We had a very specific layout planned and David and his grew crew followed it perfectly. BUT David also made some on the spot suggestions that were perfect and improved the overall results! Our neighbors (who were watching the process) were so impressed they came over to ask who did the cement work for future reference. We are very happy customers and highly recommend Western Concrete Designs. read more

Dave and his team did a wonderful job on my replaced driveway. He added steps to the side and they turned out wonderful. He uses a large crew and demo the entire driveway and put the rebar in one day. Day two a large crew with several finishers helped keep the slope smooth and reduce fall risk and the job was complete by 2 pm. I really appreciate Dave and his crew and would definitely use him again especially for big jobs. read more

We had Western Concrete Designs do our driveway. We couldn't be happier with the result.....we wanted the finish to be stamped and as it is slowly curing it looks better every day! What made it special from the beginning was the owner, David Vasquez. He is on the job and involved in each step,he has a great crew and they did a great clean up too. Thanks Dave! read more

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by David and his team. From start to finish, he was prompt, responsive and thorough. We solicited a number of quotes for replacement of our root-damaged driveway, including from most of the 5 star companies on Yelp. I wasn't able to be home when David came by, but he was accommodating, provided a quick/thorough estimate via email and responded immediately to all my questions. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but also far from the most expensive. And when I dug into the details (psi, rebar strength, etc) it really wasn't close. He offered far better value for the money than others. The start date he gave us was about 5 weeks out, which was longer than I wanted, but I guess that's because they are busy. (seems like a good thing). They showed up promptly on the morning of the job and finished the same day (most other companies had quoted 2 or 3 days). He had a team of 6 and all the right equipment to demo, remove the roots, frame and pour. I would definitely recommend Western Concrete Designs and would hire David again without question. read more

Concrete Artists! Professional, Organized, Respectful and plenty of other acholades. The whole crew worked like a syncronized orchestra to move the whole job along quickly and efficiently. They put in a concrete stamped patio with walkways in my backyard and removed old and cracking concrete slabs in front of my garage and replaced with a large slab with brushed finish. I watched as they maticulously did everything. What a great experience. And the owner, David was there working along side them the whole time... in fact he was the last one with a shovel doing finishing touches! Thank you David and Western Concrete Designs! I must add to my review that one of the reasons that I chose this company was due to how professional my initial meeting was with them. I was greeted with a handshake and a business card. He surveyed the job and wrote a quote on a tablet right there. He emailed the quote and quickly responded to any questions. David kept me up to date and even moved the job up due to a break in his schedule. read more

Western Concrete Designs - Stamped pool patio and walkway - Masonry/Concrete Near Me

I am over the moon happy with my new walkways. They went over and above my expectations. They put lines under the concrete for my eventual drip system to be installed, so I don't have to have someone tunnel. They partially regraded my front yard and removed a green waste can of old tree roots. Tied the new concrete rebar into existing driveway and patio so this is not going anywhere. Great value and amazing tradespersons. I highly recommend using them for your next concrete project. read more

I selected Dave from Western Concrete Designs because of his listening skills, knowledge, dependability, and attention to detail. He listened to my concerns about prior work by others and how I wanted to do it right this time. Now I have the backyard concrete that I truly wanted. The concrete was added in early December 2020 and fortunately the weather was dry during install and that week. It remained cool, cold, sometimes rainy, and cloudy for a couple of months after the install so the concrete took a while to cure and lighten. Once the sun started shining on it and the weather was in the 60s, the concreted lightened nicely and evenly. As you can see four months later, the concrete looks good and has an even color. The shape is perfect and attractive and symmetrical, and the control joints are straight. Dave and crew were on time, efficient, polite, professional, and work well as a team. I'm pleased with my selection of Western Concrete Designs and my backyard and side-yard concrete - and stepping stones too! See photos. read more
