George and his team did an exceptional job. The job called for tearing out and replacing two driveways, a section of a third driveway, the walks and porch, and the addition of drainage. We have mature trees that were lifting the driveways and walks, so he and his team had to perform extensive root removal. George provided a reasonable estimate and started the job on time. He's been doing this type of work for several years and it shows. He's knowledgeable, professional, competent, and friendly. Highly recommend. read more

This is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with: 1. Owner quoted me same day. 2. Owner offered a start date within one week. 3. Owner started on the day he said he would. 4. Owner finished when he said he would. 5. Owner went above and beyond, removed a stump and fixed an irrigation line. Tested irrigation system. 6. Driveway looks amazing and he added extra touches like corner seams and beautiful scratch coat. This guy is the straightest shooter in town and you can bet he will stick to what he says. Truly a Citrus Hrights treasure. To top it off, an extremely high quality product. If you're looking for gentle, fancy-looking salesmen with cute trucks and hats, look elsewhere. This dude is 100% about excellence and operates at the highest level in this trade. read more

I had been shopping around for a while, looking for solutions for my front yard landscaping project. Almost every quote I got ranged somewhere between ridiculous to insulting. When I finally came across LaFleurs, it completely turned that around. He came out the evening of our initial contact and gave me a very reasonable number within 24 hours. He had an opening the following week and we jumped on it. Both of the gentlemen that worked here were polite, courteous and knew what they were doing. We asked for a relatively basic layout and they exceeded our every expectation. I have several other projects coming up and I will be calling LaFleurs first. read more

So I had really wanted to work with this business because of the great reviews they got on Yelp. Based on what their Yelp page said, I wrote them a message for a free quote. The owner, George, wrote me back saying he would need to see the area first and gave me the number to call and set up a free quote. In the last two weeks, I have called multiple times and left three messages and got zero response. I figured they must be busy and so, based on their reputation on this website, I continued to try and work with them. Finally, I replied to George asking if I was given the correct phone number because when you call, you get a generic voicemail. I asked him why I haven't gotten a response after many attempts to contact them. He told me that the reason he had not responded was because he was booked. Business must be really good and he must not care to simply not respond and let me know that there was no availability. I don't understand how long that takes in a phone message to explain but an hour after I write him a message on Yelp, he answers. He has lost me as a customer. I will not be recommending his business. He must be doing very well because, as I found his business on Yelp, I was only able to contact him on Yelp, that he would know I would write him a bad review on Yelp for the poor customer service. I have attached the screen shot of my message conversation with George. Good luck on all your projects George. read more

We had one of the very best experiences ever with a contractor. could not be more pleased with the way George first responded to my call, came out the same day to look at the job and had a very fair quote ready in the evening. I have worked with many contractors over the past 30 plus years and can say this was the best experience I have had ever working with one. From the minute George came by and provided an estimate to the completion of the job; his communication, promptness and courteous/respectful nature made the experience pleasant. His input and feedback were much appreciated. They were on time and let me know every step of the process as they moved through the project. George and his sons take pride in their work and it shows. They insure the project is done with minimal impact to your house and yard. Job site cleaned up everyday at conclusion of work. I would highly recommend them for any of your concrete services need. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank George and his team for the outstanding job they did today on my patio. Finally, after months of searching and talking to several contractors I found the one that I should have talked to in the first place. George just finished our project and we couldn't be happier. From following ppe guidelines to the final clean up, George was professional all the way through the project. It was 2 1/2 yards and consisted of a short sidewalk, a small patio extension and a small sidewalk extension. He ( and Justin?) dug out, formed, put down rebar and installed pins in the existing concrete to lock the old and new sections together. The area was cleaned up at the end of each day. He was able to look at the existing patio and adjust his pour to allow for proper run off because I had moved a couple of drains for some other landscaping. The finished product came out great. When it was all done, I was telling him how pleased we were that everything looked great. His response was "it's supposed to." I think that statement summed up everything for me. His knowledge, skills and abilities all come together to produce a superior product. I can't recommend him enough. read more

Our 2nd project with George and his crew. Fair price and very timely. Another great job on the project!

I recently finished a complete renovation and facelift of my pool and patio to match the Mexican authenticity of the architecture of my home. I hired George and his crew to fix the concrete slabs that were a real eyesore and gave me no utilization of my patio. They did a great job, gave sound advice, and always showed up on time. I would definitely recommend their service. read more

George, Phil and Matt finished up our long, wide, exposed aggregate sidewalk, which ended in a set of stairs with landing platforms going up our back hill. This is a family that really knows their business. George takes the time to make sure absolutely everything is explained and done correctly. We can't be more pleased with the end result. Unprofessional and wouldn't recommend. Better deals out there for quality work, friendlier service, and honesty. George gave me a quote range, came onsite, surveyed my property, and left stating that, based on the requested project specs, it would still be within the quoted range. Messaged me the next day and gave me a quote $600 higher. I asked why the quote was $600 higher? He said it was because they needed "a pump and site situation". That's BS. There was no mention of any of this while he was onsite surveying the project area. And as mentioned above, following his onsite assessment, he said the quote would still fall within the price range he originally gave me. The project was for a simple brush finished concrete backyard patio and walkway: they were going to need a pump to begin with. I mentioned I had a few bids out and said I'd prefer to work with him based on cost and project completion time. Instead of staying true on his quote, he tried to charge me no-value-added costs for elements that were already factored into his original quote. Do not appreciate you trying to rip me off for $600. Now instead of getting my business, you are getting this review. Thanks, but no thanks. read more

If there were 20 stars for George and his men I would give it to them. I had been dealing with an issue for 2 years and could not get anyone to help me. I called LaFleurs Concrete and George answered right away. After listening to me and asking me a few questions he agreed to meet me the same day even in 104 degree weather. He did the exact concrete work I needed to be done and he even worked to help tie in some water lines. He even offered to help me solve the issue in other ways. In addition he called me a few weeks later to see if there had been any resolution to the problem. George is a hard working, honest reasonable and very knowledgable man. Thank you so much for helping to solve my problem, where 9-10 other contractors would not even return my phone calls. George will work hard for you when you need him. read more

I cannot say enough great things about LaFleurs Concrete Service. The owner, George LaFleur, is exceptionally easy to work with and unlike many others, really cares about his customer's satisfaction. We loved that he was very accessible and kept in constant contact with us. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that he returns calls almost immediately and checks in with us often as the job is being completed. George and his crew arrived each day as promised, on time, didn't cut corners, and worked tirelessly until the job was done. It's extremely apparent that he takes great pride in his work. We've had him come out a second time to do our backyard landscaping (sprinkler install and sod) because we were so pleased with his work with the initial job of installing backyard concrete. Delighted! The owner (George) did an excellent job creating a concrete patio for my garden. He's an experienced, honest, & skilled craftsman. And fair! I have a tight budget, and his price was right. Always on time. No weird glitches or crises. He said the cement truck would arrive at 11 AM, and so it did.George went the extra mile for me, watering my plants on a hot summer day (NOT in the contract!). And after I paid him in full, he came back again to make sure every detail was right. If you need concrete, George is your guy. PS: Yelp: I live in Roseville, CA - NOT Oregon. read more
