We had 4100 sq feet of stamped concrete poured by his company in October 2025 and we are so pleased. We had 3 quotes and his price was the best. His crew showed up when promised. They removed a crumbling asphalt driveway and front walkway. We had a front pathway to the door created, a step pathway built, and the driveway poured. The project took a week to complete. Hector was very responsive to our questions. We will definitely use Herrada's Concrete again for any future concrete needs and we plan on having them seal the concrete this spring. Extremely poor work and lack of accountability from Hector and his team. I spent many thousands of dollars for concrete work in Davis, CA and Hector did not connect the drain work. A year later he comes back and does a half job to repair. Hector said it's fine to pour concrete 2 hours before a heavy thunderstorm when the entire weekend was sunny and available. I can't say enough good things about Hector and his crew. Right from the beginning Hector was very responsive and helpful. He answered my Yelp request for a quote the same day and he said he could come out and give us a quote the following day. He called the next morning and said he could be there earlier than expected, which was great. He showed up on time, then walked the jobsite with us and gave us several different quotes depending on which way we decided to go. We were doubling the size of a driveway and adding an RV pad in the backyard, but we weren't sure how much of the space we wanted to pave. In the end, we decided on a large pad to give us plenty of room to maneuver a truck and 5th wheel, and also to accommodate a shed. Hector and his crew were able to start working just a few days later. They showed up at 8am and they got right to work. After about 2-1/2 days of work we had our bigger driveway and new pad, and it is a thing of beauty. They did a great job of matching the lines of the existing half of the driveway, as well as an existing pad in the backyard. And they did all of this for a very reasonable amount of money. Pics were taken approximately 16 hours after concrete was poured. The spots on the concrete are just leaves on the surface that aren't stuck to it. It's fall. After meeting two other contractors, I decided to go with Hector because I felt he was the most honest and fair with pricing. As a woman, it can be difficult choosing these types of services without feeling taken advantage of due to lack of knowledge. Hector called me 30 minutes after I texted him to meet up for a free quote and was able to give me an estimate in a matter of minutes. After figuring out dates that would work, we scheduled my 2,500 square foot job for 3 days--two for prep, one for pour. As we were signing the contract, he made sure to answer all my question and never made me feel uncomfortable when I raised particular concerns I had. Hector and his team were extremely professional and I never felt anxious about leaving my house while they worked. They came, did their job, cleaned up and left. Hector would call me with any updates or questions throughout the days and explain to me what was left to be done. When it came to the pour day, he made sure to inform me that he would be showing up at 5AM and that needed the sidewalks free of cars so the concrete truck had room to park. I loved watching them pour and pave the concrete! It was so mesmerizing watching it go from smooth to even smoother! The concrete took about 48hrs to fully dry, but I was able to walk on it about 9-10 hours after they poured. Hector came to remove the wooden frames 48 hours after and to double check the concrete. He made sure to let me know that if I had any questions that I was free to call him. I cannot express how truly grateful and satisfied I am with Hector and his team's work. We would highly recommend Hector Herrada. We are beyond pleased with the end result of the large project he did for us. We had our old crumbling patio and walkways removed and replaced with a much larger patio, new walkways and a new patio section and walkway on another side of the house. I was going to go with the higher priced estimate because I felt they would do a good job. I wasn't comfortable with the lower bidders. I decided to get one more estimate after having four people come out. I felt pretty confident Hector would do a good job based on reviews and upon our first few meetings with him. And his estimate was extremely reasonable and it was evident he knows his business. Hector is great at communicating and was patient with some of our indecisiveness and always took time to explain and talk things out with us. We ended up going a little over the estimated price but most of that was due to us. Hector is a positive and enthusiastic person. His crew is friendly and skilled. One thing that was nice was Hector was working along side his crew and present at our project the entire time, so if there were issues he was right there to take care of it.
