Jorge was extremely professional throughout the entire process. He and his crew did a wonderful job and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Would definitely go with them again for any future concrete work. We appreciated that Jorge was able to provide a line by line item estimate, gave a fair price, is licensed and really cared about all the little details. What ultimately sold us however, was his professionalism and his patience with us as we navigated throughout the project . We highly recommend going with Jorge and his crew if you have any concrete work/projects that need to be done. read more

Jorge and JR Concrete has been the absolute best experience I have had in dealing with home improvements since owning my home in 20 years. Jorge followed through with every aspect of demolition of my current driveway and pouring a beautiful new one. Whatever he said, he did and he backed it up with top quality work. He adhered to the timeline and the projected cost. I will continue to use Jorge for other projects and will highly recommend him to friends and neighbors. read more

I hired JR Concrete Services to extend my concrete driveway. Jorge was extremely professional and timely when he sent his quote. He provided an explanation of the work that would be done up front. On the day of work they arrived at around 7am and had the work completed that day. It wasn't a big job but they were able to do it quickly and they spent quite a bit of time making sure that the concrete matched the existing style. I was surprised how much time they spent on the details and the broom finish came out quite well. I would highly recommend Jorge and his team! read more

I manage a large gated community in North Natomas and JR Concrete is arguably the best contractor we work with. I go to Jorge often for projects including to fix the work done by other companies. It is always A plus work from JR Concrete. We will continue to use them for years to come. Incredibly professional company too. read more

Beautiful, quality, and fast. We hired JR to lay a patio in our backyard. The project was challenging because of a over-irrigated slope behind the yard. Jorge was the only of the contractors to offer to take install a deck-o-drain, rather than try to figure out how to grade it away from the house. When the job day came, we expected three days of work, but Jorge's team was able to finish it in just one! It was a very pleasant surprise to be sure. The whole team very clearly had the process down pat. They worked very efficiently and professionally, despite the difficult ground and tight quarters. The concrete ended up looking perfect, precisely adjoining the foundation and fence. Jorge was very friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the process. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. read more

Outstanding in every respect! We called JR Concrete two weeks ago to mitigate distortions in the driveway and walkway from tree root incursions at my sister's place in Sacramento. Jorge got us on the schedule ASAP and his crew plunged into the work and with demo, excursion, root removal and new concrete installation, they completed the bulk of the operation within two days. If you need concrete work done, look to JR Concrete... you'll be glad you did! read more

Jorge was a pleasure to work with. We had him install a concrete pad with a wall on three sides for a trailer parking area. Excellent communication, reasonable price, and very high quality work! We decided to make some adjustments to the project the morning it started, and Jorge was flexible and had great suggestions. Much appreciated - highly recommend! read more

We will always call JR Concrete and we highly recommend them for any type of concrete. Not only are they responsive and professional, their prices are fair and their quality is top tier. They take pride in their work and pay attention to every detail meticulously. For example, we needed a step replaced and desired a different configuration. Jorge offered several great options and the end result is better than my wife or I could have ever expected. Another example includes the drainage which is great. We didn't have to ask them to use quality material-they just did. The drains are tied in at several locations which is just another example of their quality work. There are zero water puddles in the concrete and even the sloping looks great. Everyone who sees our concrete for the first time is amazed at how good it turned out. The look and finish consistency is better than most others I have ever seen. Again, my wife and I highly recommend JR Concrete for all your concrete needs! read more

Jorge Rios and his crew are one-in-a-million! They all have one mission, and that is to provide the best concrete services in town. Besides being a happy crew, they bring years of knowledge and skill to each project they have done. They are very reasonable! Our project was a lot of fun and Jorge had many ideas to help create truly beautiful spaces in our front, and back yards. They have many specialties, driveways, walkways, sitting areas with decorative walls, and pool decks. If you have ideas for your next project, Jorge has incredible design ideas and solutions. While Jorge is hands on from start to finish, he can provide his contacts for all phases of your project. I highly recommend JR Concrete Services. Could not have been better. The finished product was beautiful. Concrete work makes me nervous. But Mr. Rios and his crew were complete professionals. The crew was polite and hard working. The owner was actively involved. From the estimate, through the end Mr. Rios and his crew were responsive, pleasant and respectful. My neighbors, even the guy in construction and the Real Estate agent , had praise for not only the finished product but how the crew handled themselves onsite. Every interaction was pleasant and professional. The estimate was in line with the lowest I received. But the overall experience could not have been better. One regret, I should have requested the cost of sealing the concrete in my scope of work and estimate. - Neal read more

Jorge and his crew were amazing to work with. As part of our pool design, Jorge worked with us from start to finish to pick a color, a finish, and provide a beautiful well thought out drainage plan that keeps everything away from the house. I have been in the construction industry since 1980 and have had my general contractors license since 2000 and I have seen many a concrete job. I recently put a pool in my own home and went with a recommendation from my excavation contractor for JR concrete as my guy was unable to do the job. That was a very good thing for me it turned out. I liked Jorge the instant he contacted me, which, by the way, was within an hour of leaving a message for him. He was professional in how he gathered the information he needed and was quick to respond with a quote. He also came by to meet with me to discuss details and did not assume anything. After going over the plans and timeframe with me we struck a deal. I felt like his price was fair and accurate and left no holes for other charges later. He was able to move some things to accommodate my aggressive schedule. He took the time needed to do a great job in the prep and form work to make sure everything was to my specifications. He showed up with 9 men in the day of the pour. I thought this was maybe more than he needed but it was exactly what he needed. He worked along side them and very calmly and assuredly ran the show. Every man had his job to do and they performed flawlessly. That really showed when the time came to float and finish and put in the control joints. If you know concrete, you know there is not much time from "ready to finish" to "oh crap it's getting to hard to work"! I also had him form and pour some steps in my front yard. I usually have to do the math for my subs to figure rise and run but not this time. It was refreshing to see he had it all figured out. I will highly recommend JR concrete. He is licensed, and completely above board in all he does. And you can tell he really cares about his work. Craftsmen still work here. read more

The reviews are true! Jorge and his team are everything you want in a contractor!! I got a quote on Yelp from Jorge. He was polite and responsive. Once we had the money to proceed I called him. I don't know how this company gets 5-stars given the treatment I had from the owner. His communication was terrible. Last minute pricing and then says his crew will be there in the morning. I had prep work to do and needed him to put it out and so he said ok to the next day. Then he says they will be there at 7 AM. The project is 5 ft away from my neighbors window where they would be jack hammering. I said I wanted them to get there at 8 AM. He said 7 AM is the legal limit. I said I don't care about the legal limit, it is my neighbors. I said if they cannot get there at 8 am then cancel. He canceled. This was all the morning they were scheduled to be here. No previous coordination on a schedule, etc. I would not recommend this firm for any work because of the bad communication and terrible customer services. Frankly, I probably escaped them doing a bad job given how that company is managed. read more

We had Jr Concrete poured concrete on the backyard area and driveway of our new house. Jorge and his team were very professional from start to finish. The job turned out great and the concrete looks almost flawless and been holding up well! Jorge Rios and his team absolutely rocked our driveway project. He was incredibly prompt in every aspect of the project, from initial visit to the final installation. We hired JR Concrete Services (not to be confused with JR Concrete in West Sac!) to do a large project for our home. We extended the driveway, added steps and a walkway, and concrete throughout our backyard. We wanted to make sure we got the right person for this project, because the last thing we want is to hire someone to pour concrete and it doesn't look right. I met with several contractors to get a rough estimate of the bids, but Jorge stood out from the rest. After meeting Jorge, I can tell he was humbled and cared about his work and reputation. Jorge responded to our questions in a timely matter throughout the duration of the job. Most contractors will forget what was discuss on the initial meeting and you have to remind them about some of the details of the initial conversation. Jorge actually followed up on some aspects of our initial meeting which was over a month ago. Of course, I didn't expect him to remember, but he did. This showed me how professional he was and really did listen to our needs. After finalizing our design, Jorge estimated the project would take 1 week while others were giving me 2 weeks estimate for our project. I was a bit skeptical, but Jorge and his team got it done by 1 week as promised. I was surprised at how fast, efficient, and clean they were. Jorge and his team arrived on time each day and ready to work. The results turned out great and we're are pleased with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Jorge and his team and would hire them again. read more

I got Jorge's number from a neighbor - had walked by their house and admired the concrete work so asked who had done it - Called Jorge up - came by within a couple of days and then gave me a bid. The bid was written up so professionally- down to the gravel, french drain, tying in the old concrete with the new, I knew I was dealing with a real pro. He was not the cheapest bid I got, but so worth it! I was putting in a wall and walkway in the front of the house to make it more welcoming and give it a fresher look. He and his crew showed up when they said they would every time. Only took a week to do my whole project; their forms for the concrete were down to the gnats butt in detail with tie ins, rebar, gravel, etc. The day of concrete pour had a snafu with the concrete that was delivered being too wet - so it was sent back and they waited for another truckload. Pour went great - job looks incredible. I have called Jorge a couple of times with questions or help with needing a little more clean up, and he had someone here that day to take care of it. All the men on the crew were nice, friendly, HARD WORKING, but seemed to enjoy their work - I can't say enough I would absolutely have them back to do other work if I ever needed any - As someone else said in their review - " JRs attention to detail and the small things" truly made them fantastic.
