I would give them 10 stars if I could! Sheer artistry! I had avery complicated job with my concrete pool deck that no one else would touch - cracks near the edge of the pool. Jose and his crew replaced one third of the pool edging (covered with aggregate) without damaging pool tile, and matched existing surface exactly! Efficient, professional and terrific about explaining each step of the process, and cleaned up everything when finished. All that at a very reasonable price! Best concrete contractor I've ever used, by far! read more

If you're thinking about refinishing old concrete, don't hesitate and do it. It will transform your space and add value to your property! We had a great experience with ACC. The owner Jose came out to measure and give suggestions. Gave us a prompt and fair quote in the following days and got us scheduled. The work itself was done over several days. The were always on time and kept me in the loop with everything. They spent a lot of time prepping. Jose and crew are friendly, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and hard working. We love the results. Looks better than new. Now we can finally enjoy the patio. Don't hesitate to work with these great guys! read more

Advanced Concrete Coatings just completed a concrete overlay project over the existing patios in my front and backyard. Words are not sufficient to describe the sleek, updated look to tired old concrete. It's so lovely to look at! Jose, Eddie, and the rest of the crew arrived each day and worked hard to complete the project per his estimate. I had lots of old cracking epoxy to remove, which required extra detail and attention. They took extreme care to protect my home and shrubbery. Jose worked with me to get the precise color I wanted. He was communicative each day letting me know what to expect the following day. The work ethic and pride in a job well done defines Jose. I would recommend his company without hesitation, and in fact, have referred a few of my neighbors to him. Many, many thanks. read more

Jose and his crew, resurfaced our patio/pool deck and our courtyard. The results are amazing. My patio looks betters than it did when it was new 23 years ago. Jose created a s pattern for my courtyard that looks like the path to an Italian Villa. See pics below. I am so happy with quality of the work! Jose completed the job one day early, too. José was great! The process started on Yelp. He was the first to respond and was responsive throughout the entire project. I hired ACC to seal textured concrete on a deck above our garage, that had been leaking. He know what sealant to use and knocked the job out in 1 day. Not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive either. He was the 2nd quote and I got, with 2 more to go but he was too good pass up on. 2 weeks later, it rained today. No more leaks. Deck looks great! 5 stars. read more

From the start Jose and team were amazing, he was super responsive and professional. We were able to schedule a time the very next day for him to come out and give us an estimate. The job started on time and finished exactly as he had planned. He did two concrete pads for us, along with some fence work and filling in and leveling an old pond. Would happily use him and his team for future projects. The finished product is fantastic and priced competitively. read more

Over the past few years, I have hired Jose and his crew for several large projects in my backyard which required expert attention to drainage, electrical lines and aesthetics. Each job has resulted in outstanding workmanship - textured colored walkways, shed and gazebo pads, a large pad for a multi-tiered fountain, and other miscellaneous concrete repairs. Every job has produced excellent results. Jose gives accurate estimates and supervises his crew with professionalism. They show up on time and get right to work. He always listens to my objectives and makes excellent suggestions to keep the budget tight. It is rare to find honest, reliable and quality workmanship vendors like Jose Alvarez. Without reservation, I highly recommend him and Advanced Concrete Coatings. read more

We used Advanced Concret Coatings to resurface the concrete slab that we tried to do ourselves. Jose and his team were able to make the concrete look a thousand times better than it was. They added texture to make it less slippery, and it turned out phenomenal. They also put in a sidewalk from the side of the house all the way to the back slab. He was very detailed in doing so and even sloped the concrete toward the drains and away from the house to prevent water from pooling on top. Jose also kept us updated on every step of the process and let us know exactly when he would be there. I appreciate the attention he showed us. I would 100 percent recommend his services. read more

We had a great experience with Jose at Advanced Concrete Coatings. We had a fairly small job - our patio and sidewalk had some stains and didn't look good. Other companies had job minimums that were too high. Jose was willing to help us out at a reasonable price. He came out on time. He made great suggestions. We actually just wanted the concrete restored to looking like nice concrete. So, he suggested a staining and coating process. He did the job himself. Came on time and took his time. It came out great! Our patio and sidewalk look better than ever - like new! We are very happy with the work Jose did. He also does coatings for garages so we are thinking we'll have him back to do that. All in all, a very good experience and we highly recommend! read more
