We chose GPT construction for our outdoor kitchen project. Right when I met Geoff Thomas (owner) his passion and professionalism were evident. We researched pre-built outdoor kitchens and got several quotes, but Geoff explained his process and the quality associated with a masonry build and we knew right away he was the right company to choose. Geoff is extremely thorough and detailed from the bid process to the final build. He took time to explain what the process entailed, and provided consulting to make sure the design met our needs. Geoff paid close attention to detail during the build, making sure the final product was of the highest quality. We could not be more pleased with the final result. The timing of our project completion was close to the end of summer, but we have used it almost daily even in the cold weather (had a super bowl party in the cold and everyone was outside around the outdoor kitchen). We have gotten many compliments on the design and the quality. It was refreshing to have a contractor who is honest, trustworthy, professional, on time, and no surprises or issues at any point during the project. I was struggling with the aesthetics of a prefab fireplace after a landscape project. I had an idea of what I needed/desired to change, but was actually not sure on how to articulate my issue. I emailed him, and he immediately called back and encouraged me to explain my concerns. He listened, drew up plans, communicated via phone and email. I could tell my project was on his mind, as he fine tuned and revised a few details in the next few days in order to truly accommodate to my preferences. The project, even though relatively small, was treated with highest regard, as he understood that it was the centerpiece in my backyard.
