What can I say about Custom Image Hardscape... they are simply the best. Nobody in town has more attention to detail, innovative plans and highly skilled masons. They are super hardworking and incredibly efficient. They think of every little detail and kept us aware of the process every step of the way. We received multiple bids from other contractors, masons, and nobody could compete. Not only did they build an incredible outdoor kitchen (BBQ and Pizza oven with concrete counter tops) they did it with style. They also added a lighting package that makes the outdoor kitchen look incredible at night. It's no wonder that they have been featured in the Sac Bee and other publications. They simply don't cut corners and are the VERY BEST. Outdoor kitchens aren't cheap. Especially if you go with the best, but I feel they are worth every penny. Not only that, but Matt (the owner) has become a very good friend of the family. He's brilliant, hardworking and such a good guy. I HIGHLY recommend!!
Matt and his team are among the best I've seen in Sacramento. We stared by looking for a few outdoor kitchen builders in the Sacramento area and ran across multiple landscape design companies but none of them seem to possess real masonry skills or specialized in outdoor kitchens at all. They were more of an all-around design company and backyard. Plus most of the landscape design companies that we talked to build modular outdoor kitchens and we wanted something a little more custom. Custom Image Hardscapes really focused on the design and build of the kitchen and the ambiance and that's what we really wanted. A company to come in and build us a kitchen, that's it. We couldn't have asked for a more professional team and just look at the quality of work in our attached backyard. My wife and couldn't be more happy. We love being outside, grilling and drinking with friends. This literally completed a portion of life for us. Thank you Matt your help, ideas and taking your time with us. You are areal artist that's for sure.
We can't say enough good things about Matt and his crew! We have recently had our entire backyard redone, including getting a pool installed and all new landscape and the last piece to complete our backyard was a kitchen and fire pit. We began searching for a company that built outdoor kitchens out of cinder block and could create more of a custom outdoor kitchen as opposed to a modular or pre-fab kitchen. There are not many out there but thankfully we came across Custom Image Hardscape. We spoke with a few companies over the phone and via email but Matt was one of the few that actually took the time to come out to our home and discuss our project with us. Right away you could tell that Matt has a true passion for what he does and his ideas and suggestions in helping us create exactly what we wanted was spot on! He told us right upfront that he was booked out a few months but we knew he would be worth the wait and he did not disappoint! The entire process went extremely well! He constantly communicated with us and updated us on what was happening and coming next. He answered our texts or phone calls right away and always answered our questions promptly. Matt and his crew were here daily and worked efficiently and effectively and at the end of each day they cleaned up and never left a mess. Out of all the contractors we have had working in the backyard over the past year we can truly say he was the best! The finished product exceeded our expectations and we are just blown away at how it turned out! Matt, your attention to detail and quality of work is unparalleled! Thank you for your true artistry and helping us complete our backyard oasis!

I will make this easy for you, if you choose anyone else, you made the wrong choice. I have never had a more positive experience than the one I had with Custom Image Hardscapes. Matt and his crew, Juan, Enrique and Eric were amazing! There is clearly a benefit to hiring someone who specializes in building outdoor kitchens, opposed to a landscaper who builds kitchens on the side. The pride and quality of workmanship was readily apparent from the onset. Matt made the comment "no one will do what we do" and I quickly became a believer. Every aspect of the project, from beginning to end, was executed professionally. They were picky, precise and resolved issues to uphold a standard I have never witnessed or experienced from any other contractor. They definitely pay attention to and address the little things that you, as the homeowner, won't know to look for. Matt understands people willing to invest in building an outdoor kitchen have certain expectations, and he realizes they are relying on his experience and expertise to make informed decisions to create the best iteration of their outdoor kitchen vision. I can honestly and proudly state, Matt and his crew delivered WELL beyond our expectations. My wife and I were absolutely blown away with the finished product. Our kitchen is gorgeous and more functional than we could have ever imagined, thanks to Matt's input and recommendations. We were truly fortunate to have found Matt and his crew. Amazing work! Matt and his crew really know what they are doing. Matt took our ideas and what we wanted in our outdoor patio and designed a beautiful outdoor oasis. The outdoor kitchen couldn't have been more thoughtfully designed and well built. The fireplace is the centerpiece of the whole thing. We love spending our evenings next to the fireplace. The island and fireplace are far and away better than anything you will ever get from your local outdoor patio store. We will hire Matt for future projects. We highly recommend Custom Image Hardscape. read more
