This is one of the things I really like about Jarryd. There's no back and forth to his vehicle looking for a part or a tool. It's all right there next to my spa. I've had a slow and steady leak in my Bullfrog spa since August. I had a wonderful spa guy (Gene McCann - Hot Tub Place of Sacramento), but he sadly passed away :( The two nearest Bullfrog dealers were either unresponsive or exorbitantly expensive FOR WARRANTY SERVICE! I yelped one spa repair service - replaced the seals, and after a drain/refill, I still had a leak (they refunded my money - no harm, no foul). But I still had the same leak, at the same daily rate, at the same location. So I contacted Jarryd at The Spa Specialist. His trip/diagnostic fee was reasonable. He came out on schedule, determined that the current leak was the seal around one of the floor/lounge jets. Given that it was the same leak before or after the seals replaced, it was probably the jet all along. Jarryd found a replacement jet and charged me cost and quoted a fair price for the removal/replacement/caulking/seal of the new jet. I've waited a week or so since the repair (and the refilling etc. once again) with bated breath and crossed fingers to see if the repair would hold. YES! Success!! I can say that Jarryd is the Spa Specialist, the real deal, and I will absolutely trust him to keep my Bullfrog up and running. PS - it turns out that when the late Gene McCann (see above) had issues he couldn't repair/resolve on the Bullfrogs he sold/serviced, Jarryd was the man that Gene called in/trusted. Jarryd came out to do a check up on a 2007 Viking Spa we bought off Facebook last year to make sure everything was running right. He was so helpful, he checked the water temperature for us, checked the seals and pump, etc. He asked "what else can I show you or do you need help with?" So he showed me how to turn our jets by twisting them because I thought they were broken (oops lol) and what chemicals are really needed to balance out the water, he also told me how to spruce up the vinyl siding since its dingy looking. Charged me to come tell us that he can't lift our spa, he doesn't have the size tubing we need and he would have to look for our size because it was an unusual size. The tubing was a standard size, he should have known that by looking at it! My husband told him it was the wrong size, but he's not a professional! He had a foul mouth and gave us excuses why he hadn't contacted us, a week later when I contacted him Basically our job was to small for him. My husband did all the work so he could see the darn leak! He did nothing for us! I'm sick of businesses like this that think they are to good to get their hands dirty. Have called him every time there's an issue with our old 2003 hot tub. He replaced the thermostat in 2011, the motor in 2016 and has h efficient, pleasant and VERY effective.
