I took in a few proposals beforehand and they are right on for correct value, no upcharging pressure or unnecessary work scope (very important to me). Fast, communicative, and good quality work. After being notified by the city that we had an unusually high rate of water consumption, which I determined to be in the main irrigation line, I reached out to EB Leak Detection (among other providers) on their website and requested a quote and information. I received an email response within 24 hours and had two technicians show up within 48 hours of the start of my search on a Wednesday. Unfortunately, the they could not find the leak. The following Tuesday, Erik came out and within an hour marked a spot on our driveway were he detected the irrigation leak. His crew were able to come back out the very next day and neatly cut a small (~8 inch) square into the concrete. Erik's mark was spot on. There was a hairline fracture in an irrigation joint underneath the driveway. Within about 4-5 hours, they repaired the pipe, tested for leakage, and then patched up the concrete driveway and cleaned up the site. Erik and his crew conducted themselves professionally and were communicative throughout the process. I did not have to play telephone tag, Erik picked up when I called, and I received text messages alerting me to when they were on their way. On the phone and in person, Erik was patient in explaining what he was going to do to find the leak and understood my concerns. After an anxious couple of weeks to learn of an invisible leak in the irrigation system, it was such a relief to have the leak found and repaired. To say this service is magical might be an understatement. We had a 10' diameter patch of mysterious soggy ground behind our house that was so swampy it was growing cat tails and we had no idea where the water was coming from. EB Leak Detection came out and used sonar to discover a pipe valve in an access point that had been buried under 6" of dirt for years -- nobody even knew it was there. The line was about 10 feet from the swamp. If I had decided to dig in the swamp to find the leak, I would still be digging. They capped the line and the swamp slowly dried up. Eric was super professional in responding to my inquiry, arranging a prompt time and was very thorough in inspecting the property. While the leak was outside at the irrigation system, he also inspected all the toilets as well as the main and irrigation lines coming from the house and found several other problems.
