This is a company to do business with if you need any concrete resurfacing done. This was the second home we had concrete renewal done by SCR. They did the job a year ago, and unfortunately we were not 100% pleased with the outcome (part of the problem being a communication breakdown on our part). To abbreviate the story, we had them back out a couple months ago to discuss and look at the situation. They completely agreed and took accountability for their part. They are in the process of re-doing the work and 100% making it right. With respect to quality, I can't imagine that any other company does better work. Backyard patio/pool deck? They are treating this job like it is the interior focal point of our home. Attention to detail and perfect workmanship. One note - this is a time-consuming process. Be patient and you will be happy with the results. read more

We would recommend Sierra Concrete Resurfacing to anyone in need of this service!!After speaking to another company's representative, who not only failed to honor the appointment time set, but who was also kind of a condescending jerk!, it was great meeting Rocco! He explained everything to us, and listened to what we wanted. The crew who did the work was on time, respectful, and just did a wonderful job. Our 60 year old, cracked cement patio deck looks fantastic! And just as a total bonus, the pricing was more than competitive! Thank you so much to Sierra Concrete Resurfacing! Rocco and his team were AWESOME to work with. Their schedule was full but they worked very hard to squeeze in time for my resurfacing work. They did an inspection, provided a quote and then worked around my availability. His team was very professional, on time and did a great job. My cracked/chipped cement now looks beautiful. I would highly recommend Sierra Concrete Resurfacing. read more

The young men who did the work for us were fabulous. They showed up on time, let us know what they were doing and always made sure that they were completing the project the way that we wanted it. Weeks later, using a different material the team completed our deck and patio. Again, they were careful, prompt and wanted to be sure that we were on board with what they were doing and that it was exactly what we wanted. Both the courtyard and the patio look great. My issue is that the company does not take a credit card, nor do they tell you ahead that they do not take credit cards. We were very surprised when the first project was completed and we had to pay by check. I then read the contract very carefully and realized it is not stated that credit cards will not be accepted. I had a conversation with the sales rep and he said that is just the way the company operates. So, we had to come up with over $8000 in our checking account. No alternative was offered. It is not an upfront way to do business. Just we wise about how you will pay for the project. read more

We had Sierra Concrete do an overlay after we resurfaced our pool and added new concrete. They did an amazing job. You can't tell where the old, pitted concrete stops and the new concrete starts. They were also very careful not to get any of the material in our pool or in our house. They were professional and communicative. I can't speak highly enough if everyone involved in this job. read more

We used Sierra Concrete to rejuvenate our aging pool / patio area. We got a couple of different bids, but I got a very good feeling from Rocco, the day I met him. They stayed in touch with me up until the day of the project, arrived on time and set to work straight away. I can't say enough about Hector, he was incredibly polite and professional, took time to really explain all the steps he was going to take, help us make good informed decisions on colors etc. Hector even took some tome to help me on a completely unrelated part of his project to give me some advice on staining and sealing another area of our garden. I am very happy with the end result and will, without a doubt would recommend Sierra to anyone looking to get concrete work done. The one thing (a small thing) worth noting is Sierra does not accept credit cards so be prepared to pay by check. read more

To any/all considering concrete resurfacing; We recently had Sierra Concrete Resurfacing (SCR) to our home to overlay our pool deck and pool coping with SUNDEK materials, job total about 550 SF. Their work exceeded our expectations, the trowel finish is very neat and consistent. The crew showed up as expected and continued on the job daily until completion, about 5 days total. They cleaned up after each shift and totally cleaned at completion. The men on the job were friendly and explained job progress daily. We would recommend SCR for your concrete beautification project. We had our stamped concrete re-stained after eleven years of being bleached out by the Brentwood sun. Rocco reviewed the project and explained the process, gave us a bid and Hector called with a start date. The crew arrived on time and I cannot say enough about their knowledge, patience and courtesy. They worked tirelessly from Monday to Friday to make sure the staining system and colors were to our satisfaction. In fact a small sample of color to complete the borders was not what we had in mind and Rocco drove down the next day from Sacramento area to deliver the better color for us. Erik, Edgar & Freddie never stopped doing and re-doing until the most beautiful front area, front porch, backyard area and side pathway were to our satisfaction. I cannot say enough about the quality of this company and the wonderful crew that Erik said "if your happy we're happy". We highly recommend them. Plus five stars. read more

Thank you to Sierra Concrete Resurfacing for our beautiful gray glazed indoor concrete flooring. From Rocco in sales, to Hector the construction manager, to the entire team and owner of the company, we received prompt attention and accommodation to "our" delays in schedule. They presented several story board samples, to make sure our color pick and gloss were attained in the final floors. The team took the extra effort to please us and to make the floors as beautiful as they are! Not happy with the customer service. Spoke with Rocco regarding an overlay of our patio and wanted an estimate, Rocco gave us two different times and on one called to say he could not get away and made another appointment for Thursday at 2:00 p.m. He never showed and we received no phone call. We were contacted by Rocco a day later who apologized and took responsibility for what he considered a miscommunication in the actual date, thinking it was Thursday 21st. We selected this company first of all because of all the outstanding reviews and are very disappointed over the whole misunderstanding. read more

Excellent service. They have very poor customer service. I had Rocco come to give me an estimate and everything was scheduled. He called that morning to ask me to meet early. Unfortunately, like most people I was at work. However I gave him permission to go in the back yard and check it out. He said fine and that he would leave me an estimate and some brochures about their work. Two weeks later, 4 calls and 3 texts and still no response from him. He was told me three separate times "I'll get back to you" but never sent any type of estimate. They may do good work, but they do not follow through. read more

I called three different contractors, to resurface my pool deck, only Rocco came out. He was right on time and very polite. We scheduled the work to be done after we came back from our vacation. The guys were fantastic. They were very polite and took their time seething things up. I only spoke with Hector once and it was a very pleasant conversation. The two guys that were sent out were neat, clean and very polite. They explained the whole process and even though it was very hot, not once complained. They completed the job in 4 days. Sierra Concrete Resurfacing has just finished resurfacing and staining my front porch, driveway, and back patio areas. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of workmanship, professionalism and care both the owner and his crew gave to this project. I hired Sierra Concrete Resurfacing to change my existing patio and pool deck. Rocco was professional, engaging and came to my house the day after I emailed him for an estimate. When Eric and Pepe arrived to do the job, they were friendly, answered all my questions, even offering color choice suggestions. They kept me informed of what the timetable and job process entailed. They even hunted down a new piece of deck joint to fill a gap when I couldn't find it anywhere. When it was finished, they left my backyard completely clean and hauled away all the trash. They even told me how to keep the newly stained concrete looking new. They worked very hard on the 1600' of concrete and it looks fantastic! Here's to beers and bbq on my new patio! Had the company bid my patio job. They showed up on time and did a thorough job determining the cost. After that the wheels came off. No formal bid was sent however a number of excuses were rendered. Computer problems, miscommunication, and promises that it would come the next day never materialized. After four or five requests i moved on for fear the unreliability was not worth the risk. My suggestion to Jose who seems like a nice person is to work on improving communication and attention to detail. Failure to follow up with perspective clients is a recipe for failure. Stop searching for anyone else. Rocco and his team have the best pricing and the resulting service is better than advertised.

Sierra Concrete Resurfacing is a first class operation and did an outstanding job for us. We hired them to resurface approx. 850 sq. feet of concrete in our backyard that had been refinished 18 years ago with an epoxy/sand coating that was a nightmare! We got several bids before Rocco from SCR came to our home. We immediately knew this was the company for us. Rocco was very friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very honest about what our options were. He steered us away from products that would make them more money, knowing the results would not meet our level of satisfaction. He left us feeling confident that he was offering a great solution, when other companies left us feeling uneasy about their ability to provide a job that we would be happy with. In addition to feeling confident that we were choosing the best product, we were also pleasantly surprised with SRC's pricing. The job was turned over to Edgar and his crew. They had their work cut out for them, having to first remove the old epoxy/sand surface, prior to applying the SUNDEK Tuscan product. The crew was outstanding! They were friendly, professional, extremely hard working, and had great attention to detail. They went above and beyond to ensure a perfect end product. They were careful to keep dust to a minimum and always cleaned up at the end of each workday. Rocco stayed in touch throughout and came by to see the finished product. Our old concrete surface was so bad that walking on your bare feet was not possible. Sand was always getting into the house and scratching our hardwood floors. SCR made our backyard beautiful, bare feet friendly, sand free, and a place we now love spending free time. SRC also assures you that they will stand by their work, should anything come up, and based on our total experience, it is easy to take them at their word. We would highly recommend Sierra Concrete Resurfacing to anyone needing to refresh their concrete surface! read more

After having a terrible experience with another concrete contractor, we met Rocco and his team at Sierra Concrete Resurfacing. Rocco recommended a Sundek solution for our damaged (brand new) pool deck and coping that took our hardscape from shoddy to a showpiece. The professionalism of both Rocco and the crew was impressive. Their attention to detail and high quality work showed in every aspect of their work from the start of the work day to the end. They took care to arrive on time ready to work, kept our yard clean and were willing to answer questions and to check that they were on track with our expectations throughout the process. We will definitely use Sierra again in the future and will highly recommend them to our friends and family. Thank you to all of you for making our disaster beautiful again! read more

I am totally impressed with everything about Sierra Concrete Resurfacing! I had so many problems with the company I had hired to do a complete makeover of my yard and pool. I went with this company solely because my house contractor recommended it. So I knew I had to do my homework in selecting a concrete resurfacing company. Sierra Concrete had stellar reviews on Angie's List, Home Advisor, Yelp, Houzz, and Google with no complaints or liens listed with the BBB. We have a 900 square foot concrete deck around our pool that needed to be renovated. Sierra Concrete had the most reviews by far, than the other concrete resurfacing companies. All the reviews were positive. Rocco was courteous, direct, and a no nonsense businessman over the phone. His crew, Hector, Eric, and Louis, were efficient, respectful, prompt, and tidy in their work. They are true craftsmen; perfectionists in their eye for detail and design. They started and finished right on time. I really can't say enough good things about Sierra Concrete Resurfacing! read more

The work they performed is stunning in its artistry and skill. We are so happy with the results and the amazing transformation of the entry to our home. We recently had our pool deck resurfaced by Sierra Concrete Resurfacing. We had three bids. They weren't the cheapest, but we learned the hard way that the least expensive doesn't always save you money. We were covering approximately 1,200 sq feet of stamped concrete. We had put enough bandaids on it over the years and it was time to resurface. We found a deck finish and a pool coping we liked and showed Rocco and he said--"no problem." The deck and coping look better today than it did when it was first laid ten years ago. I got the coping I had always wanted and it is the highlight of the pool. Rocco worked on it himself to get it to look like the picture I had selected when we signed the contract. It looks awesome. And it actually looks like hand-laid stone work with different colors, with nooks and crannies like real rock. The other stand out is their 2 year warranty for residential jobs. Most concrete problems happen within the first year, after a few seasons of weather--but not all. Having that extra cushion helped us decide that Sierra Concrete was the right contractor for our pool deck. We couldn't be happier. It looks like it should have when we first built the pool. At least we were able to redo it and make it look like this because you don't always get a chance for a do-over! Fortunately, technology is available to resurface any type of concrete and make it look brand new without having to do a complete tear-out. I'm pretty sure we would have just lived with it if that were the case. This is such a better option and we are so glad we finally decided to take the leap. It's not cheap to resurface concrete, but we are so glad we decided to spend the money because it looks better than we could have ever imagined. I doubt we'll ever have to think about it again. We had our pool deck redone by Sierra Concrete in April of 2015. It was originally built and surfaced in 1982 by the original owners and was very worn and ugly (some called it the "Brady Bunch deck" due to it's pink sparkles!). The sales rep, Rocco Radogna , was very easy to work with and the crew that did the resurfacing, headed up by Hector, was very friendly, knew their "stuff", cleaned up the area after each day's work and such a pleasure to have around. When a "hiccup" developed, Sierra's owner, Dave Walter, stepped up and took care of it. I hadn't written a review until now for 2 reasons: just got too busy, and I also wanted to wait a bit to be sure the deck stood the test of time. Its been over two years now and it still looks great. We had the off-white color with a sealant coat and it still is beautiful. Thank you Hector and your crew, Dave and Rocco. -Laura M. Lee Walnut Creek, CA read more

Working with sierra concrete was a great experience. Our project was to have our pool deck resurfaced with the sundek product. Our first meeting with Rocco went very well, we felt very comfortable with him. He explained everything that could be done and what they could do. When our project began , the work crew was on time, professional and easy to talk too. The project took 3 days and the crew would always tell us of the time they would arrive the next day and what was going to be done that day. We even had six stepping stones we wanted covered in the product and they said sure, no problem. After the project was done they did an excellent job cleaning up. The outcome was excellent, we couldn't be happier with the results...Thank You Sierra concrete and Rocco. Great job! read more
