Pedro has done a couple projects for us, a walk in the backyard by the pool, and another in the front to give us some curb appeal. His team shows up on time, does a great job quickly, and for a fair price. read more

I hired Guzman Landscape and Concrete to finish up some landscape work for my backyard. Most of the landscape and hardscape work was already completed but I still needed plants installed, a small dog run, irrigation, and a bit of concrete work for a garbage area. Pedro came out and gave me an estimate. The price seemed reasonable and his guys started a few days later. Overall, the quality and workmanship are poor. Many of the trees they installed were leaning one way or the other and I later had to go out there to straighten them out. They installed a large olive tree out front and I need to have that fixed by another company as it was installed well below the ground level. For drip, they installed a soaker hose instead of running individual drill lines to each plant. This seems to be from pure laziness. I also ended up replacing their soaker hoses with my own drip lines. They were supposed to grade the side of my home but didn't. I removed the gravel they installed and noticed that the side yard still needs grading - so that was never done! They also had the drains well above the ground so there is no way water will drain correctly. Their concrete work drained towards my house (opposite of how it should drain) and they put the drain on the other side. Of course there were no drains installed where the slope ended. While they worked daily on the project, they made a mess everywhere. That is normally ok but these guys don't clean up at the end of the day. The previous landscape contractor I had ensured the jobsite was clean every day when they left. Guzman Landscaping does not do that. A couple weeks after the job was complete, I noticed water leakage coming from the area where they ran a pipe. I text Pedro and asked him to take a look at it. Pedro text me back and told me that it wasn't their work and that I should call the previous landscaper. This is the response after I spent $10k with this company. I would never use this company again. I'm not sure how they are receiving five star reviews here on yelp but let's set the record straight about this company. I'm now hiring another company to rip out their concrete work and redo most of the work I hired them to do. This company is terrible to do business with. I'm certain they do mostly small jobs and no high end work. There's no way high end clients would put up with their inferior quality. read more

Pedro was very clear about the entire process. He listened to all our requests and concerns. Pedro was very professional and a great listener. He also provided his input and a fair quote for the project. The project was to add a concrete driveway and a side concrete pathway to the entry hallway of the house (both were connected) Once they started the project, Pedro pointed out additional issues encountered on the property and what he could do. He was also precise and punctual about the time frame they will work on this project. When they finished the job, the front of the house looked much nicer than it used to be! I highly recommend Pedro and his team!! read more

Pedro and the his team did a stand up job both on the front for the driveway, steps and patio. They were always on time, finished each step of the job according to plan and consulted with us along the way. We have the best front yard and receive many compliments even 2 years later. The backyard patio and wall was done last summer and came out beautifully as well read more

Good guy Pedro. Honest, patient and skilled. All the things you want in your landscaper. Very reasonably priced and goes above and beyond ofwhat's asked of him. Unlike other landscaping companies who only want to speak over the phone for an estimate, Pedro came out the same day to look and give us an estimate. I am recommending him to all friends and family. Pedro and his crew did an excellent job replacing our decomposed granite walkways with stamped concrete. Pedro was very good with communication and follow-through, and his entire crew were very professional. We were very impressed that they even bought more shredded bark to fill in the areas they had to rake away to set the forms. We are very pleased with the results. Pedro and his crew were amazing. We hired them to do our front and backyard and our finished product included concrete, artificial grass, and bark. With the exception of concrete, we worked with different vendors (SGW, Green Acres, and Hasties) to source various materials, but had the benefit of Pedro's team installing everything. The end result was we got to design and customize our landscaping 100%, met our cost budget, and the whole project took less than 3 weeks (from contract signing). We are very picky folks and Pedro was able to adapt to our requests and we would choose him and his team again if we had another project. The crew is trustworthy and hardworking. Treat them well and they'll take care of you. read more

Pedro and his crew were professional, on time and fast! We bought a new home and had a LOT of concrete poured down both sides of our house, extended our driveway, extended our patio to add a spa, added walkways and a pad for our gazebo and shed...Pedro's prices are very reasonable...we got several bids but Pedro beat them all. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. read more

They did an excellent job on the work. Project communication was always handled quickly.

As the saying goes "first impressions last"... when I first met with Pedro and his wife Norma for an estimate, they showed up with masks on. I appreciated that since safety comes first at this time. With all other biddings that I had, Pedro had the most reasonable price and he had the most outstanding communication skills. He was the ONLY one who followed through until we entrusted him the project. With other companies, I had to play the waiting game. Some disappeared with their promises. I had a great experience working with Pedro. He was always early, he communicated the plans for the day very well, he was very open and listened to our requests and made great suggestions, he answered all our questions very clearly, at the end of the day he communicated what was done and what the next plan is. He has the best team and they worked so hard. With all the deals that we had, I can tell you that Pedro was true to his words and very trustworthy. He handled last minute requests very well and went above and beyond. The project finished on time and within budget. Thanks Pedro & team for making our backyard/ patio beautiful. We love it so much! Thanks for making this process so smooth. You're the best, the "A" Team! I highly recommend this company! read more

Pedro just completed a new stamped concrete patio and walkway for us. He was reasonably priced and it turned out great. I would highly recommend Pedro and his crew. With all of the digging, our sprinkler timer wires were severed, but he brought out his cousin who fixed them right away. Overall, they did a great job. I would use them again for any paving or yard improvements. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that we had a few times at the beginning with scheduling where he was late or didn't come and we had to call to see what happened. He apologized and rescheduled. I'm glad we decided to go with Guzman though. read more
