Went for lunch yesterday and the food was great as usual. What's really nice about Culver's is that they have reasonably healthy food as well as really unhealthy food. They have "fast food" as well as full dinners. And of course the custard. Options for everyone and prices that are very reasonable for the quality they offer. This location is very clean, has really good employees, and the food and desserts are excellent. I enjoy going to this location and will continue to frequent it. With that said, there was one frustrating negative that was just annoying. We sat down at our table and the air conditioning started blowing us. That would be fine if it wasn't 8 degrees outside! So I notified the server that brought our food and she went on to tell us that it's a known problem that's been going on for a long time and happens in several spots throughout the restaurant. Really? A known problem for a long time. How about calling HVAC guy and having it fixed? This was by no means, the end of the world but we had to pick up everything off of our table and move it to another table. So after we finished our meal, my son and I went back up to order dessert and while we were perusing the menu, we found ourselves standing under another "mystery air conditioning vent" So overall a great place for food and we will definitely go back, but I'll never understand small businesses that don't address small problems that inevitably impact their business and revenue. read more

A very clean place to eat at especially the bathrooms. The butter burger is a great burger to get.I love the cheese curds too, and there the best.I like the real large menu in there front counter area. You can't go wrong at this culvers, there all great. read more

Everyone at this Culver's is SO nice and helpful! The food is delish, too, which doesn't hurt. My favorite item is, hands down, the cheese curds. You can order a family size which is a GINORMOUS serving of curds. The rootbeer is quite delicious, too, and their chicken is always hot and juicy. If I could good give 0 stars I would. They didn't give us a complete order and we didn't realize it until we got home. We called back and due to them being closed refused to do anything. They offered to mail a coupon, what's that! We're hungry but you're offering me something free on my next visit. With service like that why would there be another visit. If you can't offer full service at closing time, then don't take the customer. Shameful!!! read more

They take 20 mins for simple cheese curds. Ridiculous. It was somewhat busy but they shouldn't take his long for one easy thing to make.

First time to this location. Ordered Walleye dinner, was disgustingly greasy, which tells me the oil was not hot enough. The root beer was all carbonation, no syrup. Soap dispenser did not work in washroom. Went to Oswego location the day before and everything was fine, including the walleye sandwich. Will not go to Culvers again. read more

Walleye is back, generally we find the normal fare very good, and a cut above other "fast food".....But the Walleye is great.......

Went here last night, and let me tell you the service was just plain awful. They seemed very short handed that night which I guess wasn't their fault. There was long lines inside and by the drive thru. We waited about a half hour to get our food. Our food comes and they messed up my husband's hamburger. He just wanted a cheeseburger with bacon and they put mayonnaise on there even though he said no mayonnaise. He tried to scrape the mayonnaise off but he still did not like his burger, he said it tasted bad. When he tried to get silverware from the front counter, they didn't even notice him. I ordered the chicken fingers and onion rings which tasted fine but it was super greasy, it gave me a bad stomach ache. The only thing going for this place is their frozen custard. read more

My first visit here wasn't pleasant. Greasy cold fish and chicken. Soggy fries. I complained and they said come back and give them another try. I did and I haven t been disappointed since. Had the shrimp dinner with the wife having the 2 piece cod dinner. That fish was some of the best fried fish I've ever had. Really good. Crispy and not greasy at all. Hot fries and delicious Cole slaw and a roll rounded it off. Same with the shrimp. Crispy decent sized and really good. I'd have to say the food at Culvers is a step above most fast food joints. I knew something was wrong with my order when I saw the bag. The bag was too small to have what I ordered. I told the driver and he said "he can't do anything about it, it's not his fault". My order was for two North Atlantic Cod Dinners with 2 pieces and both dinners with fries. What I received was two Fish sandwiches and one french fry. I called Culver's and spoke to a woman who said she was the owner. I explained to her I used the Uber Eats app for my order. She said that a man called in and place an order and paid with a credit card and said they do not use any delivery company. She did nothing to help fix the issue with my order. I told her I can send her proof and she said "If you want to." Wow, now if I owned a business and I had a customer call and tell me this I would be very concerned and would want all the proof I could get, especially since businesses get a percentage of the cost. read more

If this wasn't my son's favorite burger I would have told them to fly a kite today. I am always carefully detailed when ordering through the drive through since I can imagine that on a busy day it can be hectic for them to hear, but on a slow day like today and no other cars waiting, "Candie" who took my order not only could took my order wrong, but as I was trying to correct her gave me a "Whatever" and I am sure she did not know I heard it. Service was the worst I've ever seen at any Culver's ever. They seemed friendly but we ordered food at 520 p.m. and didn't receive it until 545pm..I normally don't even notice the time but we wanted to go to Pheasant Run Resort and noticed it seemed really long for my Reuben sandwich with Cheese Curds and my boyfriend's cod dinner with coleslaw and onion rings. Just to give you a closer perspective, a couple next to us ordered around the same time two salads and received their order only 5 minutes ahead of ours. I know from a close friend of mine that there's little preparation to those salads, even when they have to make fresh ones, which at that time there was only 2 of us inside and one drive through order. I also noticed in all of that time that the floors by the soda fountains were sticky and by the time we got our order that it was lukewarm like it was sitting under a heat lamp, not steaming hot like it would have been fresh. The couple next to us also didn't receive their salad dressing, even with that abundance of time. Had the order been at least hot I could have felt better about going back but I would highly recommend driving further to Frankie's for better tasting food and service. read more

A recent visit to this place showed me that there is somebody that truly cares about the customer and that is why this is getting 5 stars when I would have left only giving it 2 stars if she did not step in and rectify the situation. First of all I went to have my prime rib meal and I usually substitiute mashed potatoes for the fries but for some reason they were out of the mashed potatoes? I asked if I could get the soup instead without the upcharge and the cashier said no. NOT a good idea when It was not my fault you were out of the mashed potatoes so Iived with the fries. I ordered my food with no cheese and no pickle, guess what it came with both. Really and as I was sitting there another patron had there order screwed up also. So Karen went over to the other patron, she was not my server and offered him a concrete blizzard because they had to remake his sandwich as well. As I was eating my meal she then came over and asked if everything was all right and I told her my disappointment to what happened today. Well she took care of me by getting me the soup at no charge and taking care of the order issue. Way to go Karen!!! read more
