When I get a brake from work and forget to pack up a lunch drive around the corner and voila Wendy is to the rescue I love Wendy's chili specially when is super hot. Today I had their bake potato with cheese and bacon wow it was very good and it hit the spot. The lady taking my order was very polite very nice unfortunately she got it wrong on the original order I caught that so she could fix it paid her and moved on to the next window and the only job at this window is to make sure that the order going out is the right order for person at the drive-thru window. Unfortunately she failed at that job. And I'm not driving all the way back. I have never been to a Wendy's that was this bad. The French fries were cold and had to be reordered. They should never have been given to us to start. The burgers were cold and the cheese was not even melted. There was no juice in the juicy Burger. The manager just sat on her duff on the phone. The ketchup dispensers were either broken or empty. They had just finished mopping the bathroom floors and that was good, however the floors were soaking wet. They could have made them damp or even put up a cautionary sign. The Yelp average rating was only 1.5 and that was too generous. Their corporate office needs to see this place and clean house in more ways than one. read more

We will never go back to THIS Wendy's. Against our better judgement of heading another 2 miles further down Roosevelt to the Wendy's off of Joliet St, we stopped here to save time. - Place was literally empty - first sign indicator. (McDonald's across the street at 4:30 pm was fairly happening.) - Prices = OUTRAGEOUS. We couldn't figure out how the menu prices seemed almost double what I remember them at other Wendy's, but then reading some of these reviews it seems this place is "privately owned" and they can set whatever prices they wish.. $2.49 for a SMALL junior bacon cheeseburger. I remember these being about .99 cents to perhaps $1.29 at other Wendy's. They are good, but their value is NOWHERE near $2.49. - Fries - AWFUL. While they were warm, they just had the soggy-ness and taste as if they had been made 3 hours ago and had just been sitting under a lamp - they def were NOT just freshly made. Horrible. - Salads were good. However, one of them - while ordering - we specified to have the dressing put on the side in a cup. The cashier double-checked to confirm we wanted it "on the side" and he said no problem, they'd put it in small cups for us. When we opened up the salad, the dressing was on top of both salads. Not a major issue, but this was pretty much the cherry on the sundae at this point. We will NEVER go back to this Wendy's - this was a joke and we almost feel raped. If you must got to a Wendy's, there is one about 2-3 miles further down Roosevelt Rd (off of Joliet St.), and I believe there is a Wendy's in St. Charles if you continue north down Kirk Rd. and take a left onto North Ave - near the Taco Bell. Or, as some others suggested, head to Frankie's (also nearby the aforementioned Taco Bell on North Ave.) for VERY reasonable prices and a wide selection of food. read more

After seeing the other review about prices I had to go see for myself. They truly are ridiculous. I saw the new Baconator fries advertised for 1.99. This place charges 2.99. The Crispy Dill chicken sandwich is supposed to be 1.49. They charge 1.79. I could cite many more examples. I understand "prices may vary", but there really is nothing special about this location to justify the prices. In fact I find it to be fairly inconvenient to get in and out of their lot based on the location. Definitely avoid this Wendy's especially with McDonald's within a block from it. read more

Came here after an afternoon at the splash pad with the kids. It was HOT out and for some reason this particular location didn't have working AC or the AC wasn't on at the right temp. It was warm and very humid and there was no signage posted warning us of this. We were thirsty so decided to stay and ordered a kids meal. The person taking the order wasn't waiting at the register but rather in the back so we waited to have our order taken. Then while taking our order this person wouldn't answer basic questions without running to the back to ask someone. By the time they'd come back we didn't care what the answer was anymore. We said "fountain drink" with the kids meal and then this person asked "which drink?", you're not filling it, we are, does it matter? (We didn't say this but we certainly thought it as now our order was taking forever to be placed). We were annoyed when asking for cups for water because we think this person forgot to hand us the cups. Then we get the food, the chicken nuggets looked awful. Like reheated leftovers...we didn't even care to complain because it's probably just take them 20 minutes take the order and another 20 to cook it plus, in an empty Wendy's with no AC and two hungry kids...yeah, we picked out battle and decided to wave the white flag and bail. Worst Wendy's Franchise Ever!!! They have an order screen but never use it and when you get Window 1, if it's in use, they give you attitude when you want to verify your order (this is why you should use the order screen!). When you do get to the second window, if the first window isn't in use, they are too much in a rush to review your order and give you attitude. When that that BS is done, when you get your food you find that the chicken nuggets are so over cooked they are hard, the oils should have been changed last week, the meat is dried out, the fries are also dried out, cold and have way too much salt in them. The burger patties are burnt, the chili taste like soap and the list goes on. We move into the area in the last 5 years and this is by far the worst Wendy's we have ever been to. read more

The prices at this location are outrageous! Every item on their menu is double the price of other Wendy's and to make things worse, they close around 10pm. Not "midnight or later" like most Wendy's.
