First time here. I ordered the fish and chips and I was ready to be underwhelmed. After all it's a fast food place with a highly criticized drive through service, and that's why I decided to dine in. First of all everything tasted freshly made. The fries were still warm when my food arrived. The best part was the fish! Talk about being surprised! Two thick slices of fish along with some coleslaw and a roll, and it was great! It was lightly breaded and flaky inside. It was still hot so I had to let it sit for a minute. So rich and smooth. Fell in love with chocolate concrete mixer (theIr milk shake/"Twister") ice cream. Oh my gosh that was so delicious. First time here at this chain and just got the mixer. Culver's is one of those fast food places where quality varies so wildly from location to location. This location has been fine until the last two visits as it relates to their dessert. We ordered concrete mixers and rolled up to the window and the ice cream was already melted. I'm talking soupy, runny disgustingness. I called the manager to ask him to remake it and it was the same way. I was told that strawberries cause the whole thing to melt, which made no sense and felt like he was grasping at straws for a reason as to why it happened. Regardless, the remake without strawberries was just as runny. I won't be back to this location. read more

This was my first and last trip to this Culver's. After hearing so many good things about the Culver's franchise, I decided to try it. Upon ordering we were greeted by a non-smiling, gum-chewing staff member. She did smile when asking for a positive review of her service. There was a bit of a wait for our food order. The restaurant was dirty, floors not swept of debris, and definitely not conducive to enjoying the food. After eating, we decided to try the custard. There were approximately ten staff members milling about behind the registers, and again there was a wait for the custard order. A staff member carrying a cardboard tray with various orders, handed me the melting cone with the custard dripping from his hand. All of the burgers taste great. The cheese curds could use some work. The french fries are really good, but can't beat them mcdonald's or chick fila fries tho. I love Culver's as do my friends. I go at least once a week by myself and in addition about 3 times a month with friends. Love the burgers, salads and cod fish dinners (either 2 or 3 piece). The fries are the best around. The wait isn't too long for freshly prepared food. (If you can't wait a little it there's something wrong with you and go somewhere else). Service is superb and there are more than enough associates to help. It's fresh and clean inside always. My favorite go to place. What a mess. First off, it took 25 minutes in the drive thru, only to get to the window and receive attitude from "Conner". I don't like that guy, he was so rude for no reason. Next, I received my order and 2/4 items were correct. The easiest item, the ice cream cone, came out last. It was sad, just sad. So sad, I had to throw it out. It just looked gross and melty, even worse in person - like someone had licked it a thousand times before it finally got to the window. Point is, have your shitty attitude, hate your job, whatever, but make sure the orders are correct and the food is presentable. The orders have recently been more accurate and the people taking orders seem to know the menu better and have more maturity than previous years. Great improvement. The food quality of the custard has been consistent. I don't know about the ambience, I don't go in; I only go through the drive through. However, I did frequent then indoors when they first opened this location and it was always clean, I'm assuming they are keeping up with that. read more

Not sure what happened to this location but, it has gone consistently down hill for the last 12 months. The overall value of this restaurant isn't worth the time it takes for you to stop anymore. Two factors contribute to this. First, the exponentially inflated costs; $6.50 for a 'medium' shake is far out-pacing their competitors. Second, their customer service, or more precisely, complete lack of customer service in the drive thru. Tonight was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever seen. A simple drive thru order of four items while taking the family out for a treat on a Saturday night. The order taker was the rudest, most impatient individual ever assigned to that job duty. He was also completely incompetent and required us to repeat ourselves multiple times. He acted like he was doing _us_ a favor by deigning to take our order. Did I miss something? Who is the employee of the business and who is the customer? We decided to speak to the manager on duty, whose name was Anaije (she pronounced it An-EYE-ee). Suffice it to say, the professionalism and sincerity of "the manager on duty" was lackluster at best. You could tell from her tone and body language, she had absolutely no intention of of doing anything about it. Do yourself a favor, skip this place. The Dairy Queen around the corner on Central Avenue is a much better experience and a much better value. read more

Grace who is taking order in the drive thu is extremely rude as well as incompetent. I asked for 2 pieces of cod only and she proceed to ask me several times if I want the combo or meal. He shuts the window and goes to get Grace (that's when I really start questioning the competency of this staff). I'll be honest, I really wanted an In-N-Out burger, but there isn't one in the neighborhood. As I was driving along, the Culvers sign caught my eye and I figured that I would still be able to satisfy my craving for a top notch burger. I chose to go for the classic ButterBurger, though I let the clerk talk me up into a double with the toppings. I'm sure all the others, with bacon or swiss cheese oare fine, but it was the Deluxe that sold me. Onion, tomato, lettuce and cheese on a fresh bun. It was some good eats. I'm not a huge fan of their fountain offering and I was glad that I checked before splurging on a cup for soda that I would have filled with water. I wanted a non-caffeine and low calorie choice (there were enough calories in the burger, thanks!), but there wasn't one. Water it is. Second time visiting a Culver's over the past 6 months. Last time we were in Florida, and I have to say, they have the NICEST people working at these places. Not only is the food out of this world, but the customer service is awesome. I highly recommend the kids meals for your kids, even if they feel a little bigger and want a full size meal. The kids meals are HUGE, and come with the custard that is out of this world. They did a great job on the food and customer service! I highly recommend stopping in if you haven't already! Being from CA, we really enjoy seeing these places when we travel, and we can always rely on them to be tasty and a great place to stop into. read more
