Very good fast food. It's 10 miles from our home, would like a Culver's in downtown or SE Boise.

I always love a good custard but their food is less than subpar. 0% seasoning 100% me wanting to puke.

Rolled up to the drive through at 10:30 PM on a Friday (8/11/22) to an automated message stating that they were closed. Normally this would not be a problem except according to their Google and Yelp listings they are supposed to open till 11 on Friday and Saturday. Guessing you have a rogue shift manager who likes to close early. Made me kind of sad having had great experiences at Culver's in Iowa and Wisconsin. read more

Food was good! We got a kids meal for our 4 year old and he could barely eat half because it's literally a full size burger! Huge. The fries were "meh" but everything else, (pretzel bites, curds and onion rings) we all really liked. We did order a concrete, but they forgot to add it to the order, so we didn't get to try that - the reason for the 4 stars, rather than 5. I imagine we'll go back at some point, but we don't eat at places like this often so it won't be soon. read more

Recently I decided to go when I got off work and realized I had forgotten my wallet after I had already placed my order... but the manager Matt went above and beyond and took care of my order on the house! This is a hard one to review. Mainly, because I feel like your experience is based off what you choose to order. I used the drive through and the line was super long. I stuck it out, because I knew they were new...so it was to be expected. It was a slow but steady pace. I ordered 2 burgers, 1 cheese curd and 2 kids meals. I was disappointed with my burger, as I asked the attendant if the burger could be ordered with just lettuce and no bun. FYI...their lettuce is shredded, so I got a small pile of lettuce under my burger patty. By the time I got home it was soggy lettuce. I didn't taste anything remarkable about the actual burger. Cheese curds were probably the best thing I ordered. My kids stold most of them from me. Kids meals were nothing special, but who can screw up a corn dog? I didn't try the custard and this seems to be what most rave about, so maybe I was on the wrong track with what to order here. Overall...not my cup of tea. But maybe it will be for you! read more

We tried out this new place last night because of recommendations from people familiar with the chain. All I can say is it's OK. Not bad food, but nothing special. Great place to take younger children. Friendly and fast service and certainly affordable. For the money The Habit does a much better burger. read more

My family has been here twice. Both times the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Their butter burgers are the best fast food burger around.

Culver's is definitely one of my favorites! I went and got m and m concrete mixer and my sister had the raspberry cheesecake concrete mixer. Both were delicious. We went right before they closed and it was nice not having to wait at all for the drive through. Concrete mixers came out super fast! Only complaint was the m and ms in mine weren't fully distributed throughout and were more at the top with almost nothing near the bottom. Overall very good though! read more

First off, all I had was an ice cream cone, their flavor of the day. But the flavor of the day was raspberry cordial. It was delicious with a capital D. Spiked my diabetic self for a couple of hours but worth it. Prices appear to be high for a drive-through chain. Will have to return sometime and check them out more thoroughly. But recommend you swing in and try the flavor of the day for a couple of bucks. The flavor of the day for each location is posted on their website. Great potential, but a few mistakes prevent this from being a fantastic new restaurant. I ordered the 3 piece Atlantic cod dinner, substituting one of the sides for a salad. I also ordered the fried cheese curds and drink. The fish was fantastic quality and significant portion. A bit on the greasy side but I find this to often be the case with fried fish. The crinkle cut fries were also good, as was the salad. When my order was delivered they forgot the salad and cheese curds, this was quickly corrected and I didn't think about it until a coworker who went through the drive thru had items also missing from her order, not sure if it is the busy traffic or not confirming the order with the receipt. I didn't care for the cheese curds, my preference is probably skewed by another chain which also serves them. All in all an ok chain, but with room to improve. read more

I don't typically give reviews, but my experience this morning driving through was too good to not give a virtual high-five. Matt (a lead/shift lead, according to his name tag) took our order and helped us through the whole process, and his customer service was impeccable. My friend was in town visiting, and having never eaten at a Culver's before - it took us a little longer to order. Matt was courteous during the entire process. Any questions/requests we had, Matt came through each and every answer/response with flying colors. He was very kind and professional in his order taking, he said "My pleasure" with honesty, and a genuine attitude. He was the perfect representation of what customer service should me. I don't know perhaps if I am ordering the wrong food entirely, or if it really is that bad. I've been there twice in the dining room now just to be sure I didn't miss something. The first time I ordered a double butter burger with bacon. I asked the clerk for no ketchup or mayo on the burger and just mustard. She asks me if I want any other condiments, I assume I know what a condiment is by my age and I say - no thank you, just mustard. Granted the burger comes with other toppings like tomato, onion, lettuce (I don't know exactly) but the point is, my whole life I never realized these were condiments. My burger literally came out with nothing but mustard on it. Lame. Also, it didn't taste good at all. I can deal with the only mustard thing, but it smelled like a old bag of ground beef and tasted like one too. They also press the hell out of their burger patties, a little something to bite into is always nice in a burger. Nothing here. Second time was several weeks later, I ordered a sourdough burger something or other. It comes with grilled onions, some kind of sauce, and cheese. I love onions so I figured what the hell. I couldn't get past the smell. It is the smell of unseasoned ground beef. C'mon, man! Put some salt and pepper on that frikkin thing. I don't like the smell of store bought ground beef bag in my burger. It tasted just like it smelled. Yuck!! The onions had zero flavor, literally tasted like they picked up the patties and down on the same skillet goes the onion in the unseasoned beef fat. Tasteless 2 times in a row. The only thing I've found so far good about this place is the root beer and I can get better root beer in a can at the Boise Coop for the same price. Please, Culver's. You need to learn to season your food. It doesn't taste home made if that's what you're looking to do, it just tastes fresh out of a meat packaging plant. read more

Really loved before corvid and a year in but they mess up order every time and we always order family size extra fries so we all have enough and they don't even fill that skimping they are forgetting meals or giving you wrong items. try to look before you leave but who likes to wait another twenty min. by then other items cold after waiting. Really, really good food and a nice variety in their offerings. Immaculately clean place and very polite employees. Right up their with Chick-Fil-A. But I like Culvers a bit more as they have much more variety to their menu. Double deluxe hamburger (opted with no cheese) was well cooked and the meat tasted very good. Cheese tends to hide the meat flavor. Potato/bacon soup was also excellent. My wife had the fish sandwich and a cup of chili. Thumbs up from her on those. I traveled for years in the mid-west and enjoyed Culver's there. Glad one is close-by in Meridian. Worth the drive from Middleton and an excellent excuse to drop in for an early lunch when going to the Boise Co-Op or Trader Joe's. read more

Love spending 40 dollars on a to go order to have it missing one entire meal and another burger not only did I not get to eat but my wife gave hers to the kids to share so thanks for that. You have forever lost a customer as this isn't the first time. I'm sure it's also not the last. From such an amazing company the employees don't really seem to care about reputation or quality. Terry the manager is absolutely horrible. I drove up to order and the representative was so nice but accidentally put a fish sandwich on the order instead of filets. I didn't notice it till I got home and I called in and got the sweetest employee. She admitted there was a mistake and would correct it. Terry got on the phone and blamed me. He was rude and nasty. I asked for his boss and he declined and said he is the boss. I asked to talk to the nice employee that had said she would help and he denied me that. I told him I wanted the owners info and he said no. He argued and was rude and I will not go back to this place because he is such a horrible leader and person. The food is decent. The chicken is really good. The custard is delicious but they take FOREVER to provide even just custard. This is a massive management issue that they need to resolve. We have been going to Culver's in Meridian consistently for about 3 years. The food has always been great. Big, customizable menu. Good portions. Everything always prepared well. However, the service was excellent up until the last few months. Now, incorrect orders, frequent communication issues with individuals taking the orders, long wait times without being busy, and just generally poor customer service. Most recent example is, I ordered a meal for myself, wife, and small child. The individual taking the order multiple times replied with "what!?". Not "I'm sorry, I didn't catch that", not "would you mind repeating that", not "I'm having difficulty hearing you" or even just politely saying "what was that". It was as if I was inconveniencing this individual by the simple act of trying to place my order. Then, after waiting an exceptionally long time to receive our food, an individual wearing a manager name badge repeats the order to me and it is incorrect. I state as much and he just looks at me and says "oh, its correct" without actually looking. This isnt the most egregious example, but the most recent. That said, in the last few months it seems they have a lot of new people working at and running this location that just dont give a rip about the job they accepted and are paid to do. I'm not asking for free stuff or a 5 star experience from a fast food joint, but standard common courtesy and a dash of customer service can go a long way. read more

This was our first time trying Culver's, and we really enjoyed it! As a family, we tried the bacon butterburger, fries, cheese curds, chicken strips, and frozen custard. The bacon butterburgers were very good. The best part was definitely the softness and juiciness of the meat. It really was like biting through butter--extremely soft. Not as flavorful as say Wendy's or Five Guys' meat... but unique and enjoyable. The crinkle fries were quite yummy. The cheese curds were delicious! Definitely give them a try. The chicken strips were just okay. The frozen custard was delicious; although the chocolate was maybe a bit too rich for my taste. I preferred the vanilla. All in all, it was a great experience. I cannot day enough good things about Culver's in Meridian! The food is delicious, and customer service is superb. A few weeks ago, I had a long day at work and stopped by on my way home to grab a pre packed pint of custard to go. I went inside, and the line was quite long - this place is popular!! I waited patiently in line to pay for my custard, and I couldn't help but notice the employee at the counter. He was probably in his early 20's, and I could tell he had some mobility issues or a disability with one of his arms, because he couldn't quite extend it all the way. However, despite his physical limitations and challenges, he was so enthusiastic about his job, and I could tell he loved working there. He was so very helpful with everyone he came in contact with, and had a big smile. I got very annoyed at the individual behind me in line because he kept grumbling things like 'this place is so damn slow' and 'I just want some damn custard, where is the service?' I didn't want to cause a scene, so I didn't turn around and say anything to him. However, I DID stick around and linger to see how this happy, enthusiastic employee would handle him. Despite being annoying and using some gruff and choice words, this employee treated this man with the utmost respect and courtesy. So very impressive. About a week later, my son begged to go to Culver's for his sixth birthday, and have the 'nice people there sing to him'. We went in, ordered our food, and quietly asked for the manager while the kids sat down. We ended up getting the owner himself! We asked if he would mind if we put a candle in his custard, light it, and sing happy birthday to our son. He actually offered to do it for us and bring the custard straight out to him, candles lit and everything. And so he did, with several employees in tow, all singing happy birthday. It was so great, and it made him feel so special. He was just beaming. Thank you, Culver's, for being a wonderful family place with wonderful service! Had a meat craving, after trying two food trucks that were closed today, I decided to try Culver's. Not too bad, not overly greasy because the patties looked a little dry. The flavors were fulfilling my meat craving. Their crinkle fries were okay, but nothing to write home about. Keeping in mind that they haven't been open a week yet, we went in and even though the parking lot looked full there were still places to sit. Our order was correct and the food was good. The kids meals come with a coupon for a free scoop of custard which was a nice perk. The Reuben was good. The place was a little chaotic but what do you expect for a new business? The staff was friendly and our food came out fairly quickly and it was still hot. It's a nice change from the same old go to places. The prices were reasonable as well. Twice I've called for an order to go and there's so much background noise, they can't hear me on the phone, and I can barely hear them.
