The cajun chicken taco fill was not appealing to me. It was mid at best, but at least the flour tortilla was edible? The spicy chocolate horchata reminds me more of a Mexican hot chocolate served cold than an horchata. That was the best part of my meal. My friend ordered one of the power bowls and she really enjoyed her lunch. She ate about a third of it and took the rest home for leftovers; The portions are generous. The staff was friendly which is always appreciated so that was the best part of my experience at DGT, but the tacos were terrible so I don't think I'll return.

Culver's may be a fast-food chain, but trust me when I say, it's so much more than that. At first, I'll admit, I was skeptical. How good could it really be? But here's the thing--my wife won't eat at just any fast-food place, but Culver's. She'll happily go there every time. That speaks volumes. I first heard about Culver's from a friend of mine--who I'll affectionately call an old curmudgeon. He was raving about it, and when someone that grumpy gives a glowing recommendation, you've got to give it a shot. So I tried the location on Lemay, and let me tell you, we've been back countless times since, never once disappointed. From the burgers to the fried shrimp, to the grilled chicken sandwiches and, of course, the custard--it's all been delicious. Every single time. The food is fresh, flavorful, and satisfying in a way that keeps you coming back for more. The service is always fast, and the staff is genuinely friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with plenty of seating, and the ambience fits exactly what you'd expect from a fast-food joint--simple, no-frills, and inviting. If you've never been to Culver's, I'd highly recommend giving it a try. I'm willing to bet once you do, you'll be back for more.
