This location has absolutely nuked their menu and it's now a total rip off. If you compare this location to others, you'll see that the FOCO menu is now smaller, and they charge ~$15 for a 9 inch sandwich (no options on sizes, also got rid of around 6 sandwich options). At any other location, you'll see that you can pay around $15 for a LARGE 12inch sandwich, or a medium 9inch for less. They also don't have ANY bone-in wings anymore, so forget about that sunday wings deal. Total rip-off to pay upwards of $30 for a 9 inch sandwich and a side. There's plenty of other places to grab a sando without destroying the wallet. Definitely not a fault of the employees, but clearly the owner/management made a really stupid choice in making the menu smaller and more expensive when there's 4 other places to get a sandwich just a stone's throw away. read more

This place has the potential to be really good, but I just ordered online and my food was absolutely disgusting. I showed up ten min after I got a message saying my order was ready and when I got there they said they were still waiting on the side of fried pickles. I waited another ten minutes and finally got my food. After getting home five minutes after that, I opened the two sandwiches I ordered and they were soggy asf. Not a single thing was crispy, the fries and onion rings on it were mush, everything was just mush. The side of fried pickles were the only fresh thing I received and they were good but the rest of my order was inedible. I essentially paid $32 for fried pickles. Just finished my late night dinner from Fat Shack about 2 hours ago, my first time trying this popular FC late night carb paradise, even though I'm a lifelong local. The Philly Cheesesteak was absolutely awesome, I'd order it again in a heartbeat. I didn't have high expectations for the sandwich at all, so it was a great surprise! If I was only rating tonight on the sandwich and the ordering/delivery process it would have been 5 across the board!! From ordering to the knock on my door was barely 20 minutes and I live in Warren Shores! AMAZING! Unfortunately, the main reason I ordered from here, and likely the only reason I would think of ordering from here in the future, is because they are known for their deep fried delights, and in that respect I was sadly disappointed. I very rarely indulge in anything deep fried so I was super excited to sink my teeth into the Deep Fried Rice Krispy Treats! I struggled to decide between the Rice Krispy treats & the Deep Fried Cheesecake Bites, I don't know if I made the wrong choice or if it was just an off night for Snap, Krackle & Pop, but they were definitely not the stuff that Deep Fried Dreams are made of They were chewy, hard to even bite into and very flavorless except for the taste of grease. Not. Super. Yummy. I know what you're thinking, "Well, dumba$$, when you let your dessert sit around half an hour while eating your Philly, what do you expect to happen?!" Nope, not this girl, not at 2:30 am after moving all day long, you better believe I ate dessert first!! Well, I tried dessert first, it just wasn't worth the calories, I closed the bag back up and moved on to the Philly. To my surprise it was piping hot, fresh, made exactly the way I requested and absolutely amazing. I feel bad that I'm not leaving a higher rating but I'm just so disappointed. I was really excited about the prospect of such deliciousness and I feel like the issue needs to be addressed, I can't imagine that I'm the first to have dealt with this issue... One thought I have, if anyone actually reads these reviews or is interested in making a difference... The Rice Krispy Treats were in a bag that appeared to be designed especially for the deep fried delicacies, and they may have been fine if they had been in that sack alone. However, for the trip over they traveled in a plastic bag along with the Philly, both of them all tied up tight in there, even taped closed (I realize that this may be for safety/security/ insurance that all items are delivered, etc. therefore not really much of an option), allowing all the steam to build up between them, creating tons of sweaty condensation. Therefore I think that more than anything the treats were just soggy from the steam and it completely ruined what would have otherwise been an incredible experience... Obviously it's not terribly practical to transport each of the items in separate bags, however it's possible that bagging orders in paper bags might alleviate the condensation and soggy mess of deep fried foods. I will say that usually does take a while (20 min ish) but I think that's consistent with most locations preparing elaborate 3000 calorie sandwiches. I normally really love Fat Shack. I've ordered from them a bunch of times. But, last night I ordered 5 sandwiches, only one of them had a special request (no marinara, sub ranch). The Fat Donkey Lips Sandwich has nacho cheese on it instead of buffalo sauce and blue cheese. The Fat Shack sandwich was basically only a philly with like five french fries and like one jalapeño popper. And mine, the Fat Bronco with no marinara, sub ranch ended up having marinara which I can't eat. So, I couldn't even eat my sandwich. I ordered through GrubHub so I don't know if something happened with that. But I really don't think it was. I got a refund for the sandwich I couldn't eat which was good. But, I was disappointed. I placed an order using Order Up at about 9:30 last night. Around 11, exhausted and ready for bed, I called to check the status of my order. The young man who answered apologized profusely for the delay and said my order would arrive soon and they would comp it. I thanked him and about 5 minutes later the food arrived. Around 11:30 someone started banging on my front door! The driver for The Fat Shack was back and she told me I needed to give the food back to her because I was being refunded! I was completely shocked. I told her I already started eating the food and I didn't appreciate her banging on my door at this hour because I have children. She told me she still needed the food back. I told her to leave and closed the door on her. I called The Fat Shack and spoke to a guy (not sure if it was the same guy from earlier) who told me I wouldn't receive a refund since I kept the food. I didn't request a refund in the first place, it was offered to me! Even if I gave the food back, it's not like they could resell it. It really felt like they were trying to "stick it to me" for taking the refund. I could hear the guy talking to his manager for answers to questions I was asking and he finally asked if I would like to speak to the manager and I said yes. The manager instantly became unavailable. This was by far the rudest customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. And I work in the service industry! The food isn't anything to rave about, typical bar food. It used to be fast and hot but now it takes forever and the staff doesn't care about the customers. The place that brings us "juice head guidos", The Situation, GTL, and DTF - brings us sandwiches loaded with chicken fingers, french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and whatever else you can throw in a deep frier. This is the guiltiest of all guilty pleasures. The Fort Collins location opened August 23, 2011 on the corner of College and Laurel where Gohan Time used to be (R.I.P. Gohan Time). This is the place to pull a Paula Dean and pretend this food isn't going to slowly kill you. I unwrapped my tasty calorie catastrophe that looked unexpectedly small, and took the first bite. Not too shabby! It's the sauce that makes the sandwich, so I'd recommend asking for extra if you decide to brave the fat. There's so much junk jammed in there, that you only really taste the cholesterol without a liberal drowning of sauce. I kept eating through the first half of my sandwich, and then my chest started to tighten. This is not an exaggeration - my body was revolting. I joked about congestive heart failure, but that probably wasn't too far off. "Oh my god, I'm eating a Gout Sandwich," I exhaled. I took a deep breath and powered through. I started on the second half of the one 8 inch sandwich which had begun to congeal and decided that there is no way in HELL I'd be able to eat three of these. They would need to provide me with Wilfford Brimley's direct number for personal delivery of "dia-beetus" testing supplies at the bottom of my receipt. After some painful winces and deep breaths, we finished our meals, successfully making it out of there alive.
