    Single butter burger

Great fast food! The burgers were restaurant quality burgers through a drive thru!! This is not a McDonalds or Burger King. Drive through super friendly and fast. The burgers were nice size, cheesy gooey, seasoned burgers! Got a fish sandwich as well, fried nicely! Yum!

Easy to order, self service drinks and the food was delivered to my table. Burger and fries were hot, fresh and cooked to order. The toppings on the deluxe burger were perfect. Great food!

So we've been 3 of 4 nights while on our trip from CA. Would've been 4th but didn't discover too second night. The choc chips are just amazing. Our kiddos are all 8+ but man this place has the coolest play area for younger kids. The staff were friendly and easy going for the taste test. Really the ice cream is excellent and you can tell it's made with quality products. Highly recommend.

When I found myself up in Florence for a work trip, I decided to relive the experience. This store is huge... Bigger than the Graeter's I remember back then in my old college town. I was impressed with how "fancy" it looked: huge storefront, a kids play area, large seating area, and multiple cash registers. I loved how they had a wide selection of ice creams with flavors I never even heard of. I laughed even to see a Skyline flavor (I know there's a huge following of the chili). I asked for a sample of it and was actually impressed with how it tasted (cinnamon and sugar, like Christmas snickerdoodle cookies). I ended up picking just a scoop of strawberry and butter pecan. It was just as good as I remember. Smooth, creamy, not too sweet, with great flavors. There were huge chunks of pecan in it. Not sure why this location got bad reviews but I'd definitely come here again. In fact, I'm coming tomorrow after dinner!

The Fat Man tries to find hidden gems, holes in the walls, or any small mom-and-pop establishment…read morewith good food. While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The Fat Man says that The Farmstand Market & Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.
