But honestly, next time I'm in the area, I'd pass on Bubba's and probably won't be hankering for a pork sandwich again.

My pickup time was 4:14 p.m., and I arrived on time. I stood at the front for about 10 minutes while multiple employees walked past without acknowledging me. One employee at the bar looked at me several times but never spoke or let anyone know I was waiting. During that time, another customer walked in and was immediately asked if he needed assistance. I had to speak up and say I'd been waiting to get help. To make matters worse, my order wasn't even ready at the scheduled pickup time. I also noticed another couple come in and wait without being greeted. The manager did apologize and offered complimentary appetizers, which I appreciated, but the overall customer service left such a poor impression that I don't plan to return. The food was good, but good food doesn't make up for being ignored. While I was waiting, another couple came in and wasn't greeted either. They assumed it was self-seating, sat down for a while without anyone acknowledging them, and eventually left. Watching that happen made me realize this wasn't just a one-time issue with my order it seemed like a breakdown in customer service that could easily cost the restaurant business. So, thank you to the manager who was tried to help and thank you to the 2 other ladies that finally came over.

We ordered a slice of cake as well, and didn't realize that it was missing from our order. I don't think this has ever happened to us, so maybe just an off day. Love , love, love this place! This location is one of the better ones in the area. Clean and friendly staff make for an enjoyable experience. The food is usually really good but tonight the side with my fish dinner was anything less than average but the cod on the other hand was delicious as always. Very nice and clean location. I ordered a large concrete mixer and was given a medium the staff told me that is now there large. Its only $.20 less than there large used to be for half the custard. Very disappointed in the value. There other locations have not went to this portion sized. food in excellent. read more
