Fast and really polite staff. They always make my mixers with the perfect amount of chips and brownies.

Went to pick up food and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich , burgers and cheese curds with fries. When my 75 year old mother bit into the chicken it was raw. You could even smell it was raw. Its like it was put on the grill and taken off. Thankfully she knew and spit it out. We all shared an order of the cheese curds. I took the chicken in to show them it was not cooked and good customer service would of refund me the entire meal (considering my mom could of gotten really sick) and all I got was a refund for the uncooked chicken patty as they called it and that was $2.74. That was the last meal we had and here we are at home all sick with nausea and stomach issues. I will NEVER eat there again. POOR customer service and HORRIBLE food. read more

One of our favorite 'fast food' places to eat! We've always had a pleasant experience with the workers and the quality of food. Always great food. The staff at this location were especially kind and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. They seem to always get the order right and the food doesn't look like it was just slapped together and Fall apart the second you pick the burger up. Always 5 stars' burgers. We love the cranberry salad and the chicken strips too. There is also something else we love but I can't remember what it is... Oh Yeah Custard. I was deeply disappointed when I purchased a cheese butter burger. The burger had shrunk in size, the patty was very thin and the slice of cheddar cheese was razor thin. The burgers used to be thick and juicy..what happened?! I also purchased a single scoop of a turtle sundae, the scoop of the ice cream has decreased in size, the "custard" was a bit thin/watery; not rich and creamy...what happened?! I've gone to this location for quite a few years now, just so so disappointed how the quality of food has changed, cheap food for high prices. I know the COVID-19 crisis is taking a toll on everyone, but its not an excuse to skimp on the quality of food. read more

Oh I went to Culver's. Hard. I got that special treatment that only a young lady like myself can get at a place like this. I walked in a Culver's virgin. I walked out a Culver's slut. I sauntered in, pretty as a picture. I presented my free scoop coupon like King David after slaying Goliath. The cashier could tell that I was I was not yet a seasoned Culver's veteran, but he was ready to change this. He asked me what my ice cream preferences were, and after a long back and forth about ice cream varieties we came to the conclusion that the flavor of the day would tickle my fancy to the highest degree. He gave me a free sample in order to ensure that this was the best fit for a girl like me. Unfortunately, this was when disaster struck. After enjoying the free sample the generous cashier presented me with a napkin, for my convenience. Silly me, I got overstimulated. Instead of grabbing the napkin I instead placed my saliva covered spoon directly into the poor mans hand. I am deeply humiliated and I wish this did not happen. I can never show my face at that Culver's again, but overall my experience was exemplary and I was satisfied in more ways than one. read more

Well, guess it was just a matter of time. We have been frequenting this place since it was built. Always received great service with a smile and more importantly, accuracy. Went tonight after not going for about a month - more than enough young girls working the window who struggled with our order (kids meal and regular meal for a total of $17). Messed up the burger. Messed up the drink. Messed up the fries. And had to ask for a drink tray three times. Such a shame. Was so excited this place would deliver consistently. The wait was longer than usual and we couldn't figure out why while we were part of the wait. Until we got to the window. All makes sense now. Management - Hire and train better please. I want to return but experiences like this, will create a lost customer for sure. read more

Just great. Excellent, flavorful burgers. Great fish, especially when they have walleye. Get it when available. The cod is very good. Good chicken sandwiches. The pot roast is even better than average. And, if course, the ridiculous frozen custard and sundaes and mixes. Everything is so good A real restaurant with a drive thru. One complaint. I like the crinkle cut fries, but they can be a hit or miss, sometimes they're undercooked & sometimes they taste stale,but when they're HOT & FRESH they taste GREAT! but that happens at McDs, B.K. & Wendy's, they're all guilty. First time at this location, just ordered 2 concrete mixers. We were sent to parking spot 1. Then we waited for over 10 minutes while watching 5 cars behind us get their food and frozen custard. To make this worse, no one is directing traffic so since we were in front the cars behind us couldn't leave, cars were honking and swerving around us, the drive through is an absolute mess. I can't even imagine it during busier periods if managed this poorly. It got to the point where I was about to walk inside and ask what the hell is going on. To make matters worse, both of our mixers were only half filled, way different from what I received from other Culver's. Definitely the worst Culver's experience I've had which is very disappointing. I was super excited when I found out this location was so close to work! I've never had culvers til' now and I must say I am a fanatic of their tasty deliciousness food. & Not only the food wins me over but like everyone there just seems so happy like all the time! Smiles everywhere and you get greeted by a "Hi welcome to culvers, what can I get started for you"! Its an awesome atmosphere. Oh and they also mention how to enjoy their frozen custard cups to-go the RIGHT WAY to get the same constinency as the ones fresh in there. Coming from Peoria with 2 Culvers and hitting them here and there I will say this location is definitely the worst store Ive visited. Went through thr drive thru and got 2 concrete mixers. There were 2 cars ahead so nothing busy. We got overcharged and then waited for our mixers while 4 cars after us got their orders. When we did one mixer was half empty and only add ins on top, half of the container was plain vanilla ice cream. Not to be a pain but come on...how hard is this? Wont be back. I was concerned about this hurting neighborhood stores but if this is how Culvers is that wont be a problem. Wont be back to this Culver location! read more

I am so happy there is now a second Culver's within Chicago city limits (the other location is on the south side)! The first time I ever ate at Culver's was over a decade ago in Milwaukee, WI. I thought to myself that there needs to be one in Chicago, and my wish came true. I stopped in yesterday and purchased a Double Butter Burger meal. The food was delicious as Culver's fare always is. Too expensive $14 for burger, substitute small side cheese curds and a malt instead of a soft drink, WHAT?! And the parking lot is awful it's just a drive through parking lot, you have to park in the lot behind the restaurant. It was so packed no one could sit at a table inside. I was pumped to have a Culver's in the neighborhood. I am from the suburbs where they are everywhere and my very first job was as a Culver's team member, so really try to be understanding, I get it. I went to this location for the first time today and waited about 12-15 minutes for my to-go order of a burger and onion rings. When I finally got my food, there was cheese on the burger when I asked for no cheese and there were fries instead of onion rings. I was already running late so I didn't fight through the lines and wait (again) for the correct order. In their defense, the place was super crowded and every employee was very new. Still, I feel pretty ripped off after paying $13 (I'm dead serious: this was the price for a burger and onion rings) for lunch and not getting what I ordered. I am going to give the place a few months to settle in before I try again cuz ain't nobody got time for that. read more

The young, male workers that we were in contact with were rude, answered shortly, and just did not seem to care. It was like spoiled, rich kids who were forced to work there by their parents. Was excited to eat here; had been to many of them in Wisconsin. What a difference this location is to the ones in Wisconsin. Order of 2 burgers, cheese curds, and 2 sundaes took 20 mins!!!! I even talked to the manager, Matt, and he couldn't tell me the delay. And, when they finally brought out the food, it was missing one Sundae. I had to go back to the counter and talk to Matt again. He brought out the sundae and just said "sorry about the delay" and left. Awesome customer service! In today's competitive restaurant arena, these people have to realize customer service is everything. Well, they lost my business; I'll wait til the one on Harlem opens. I had their Crispy Chicken Sandwich, the Curds, Chicken fingers, and a Malt with peanuts and then I took a Salted Caramel Malt to go. I wasn't a fan of the Chicken Sandwich, it came with lettuce and pickles but not condiments so I had to add some on there. I was a fan of the Fingers. It had a little kick to it. What i like about Culver's is their juicy meat cause when they give it to you it's sizzling with flavor also they give you warm fries they're not that greasy like in other fast food places and they taste good but honestly i wish they weren't that thick cause their a little mushy . For me I think the prices are fine for these kinds of fast food places and plus it's worth it because the food there is good i have gone multiple types so that's how I know it's good for what it's worth.it taste like fresh meat and it doesn't taste frozen . Culver's is one of my go to fast food places but this is not my favorite location. I was excited to go since it's nearby and within the neighborhood but I was disappointed during my visit. We took some time looking over the menu and didn't order right away. Once we were ready to order and stepped to the front of the cashier, we were ignored for a good few minutes while the workers focused on other tasks. They forgot one of my shake orders and had to go back to remind them about it halfway through my meal. The biggest pet peeve was the presentation of the food specifically my order. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger and it honestly looked like all the ingredients were just slapped on a bun and wrapped. I get it, Culver's is fast food but there should be some consideration with how the food is presented. That pretty much covers my experience. I'm still a big Culver's fan and will continue to eat at the other branches. read more

The food here is mediocre at best. I tend to get the bacon cheeseburger with 2 patties basket. The prices are pretty high but I spoil myself with their fries. They have good fries and delicious fried cheese curds. That's the winning ticket for me to return. Maybe next time I'll try something different. read more

First time trying this location. Not sure if I will go again unless it's on my way. The drive through has a weird set up and needs repaved already. If you didn't know to go around the block to get to parking you will be stuck in the drive through line. We were lucky that the line moved and no one was waiting for food too long. I can see how this can escalate pretty quick to a back-up. I love Culvers chicken tenders, but not at this location. They tasted like big McD's nuggets and not the tenders we usually get from other Culver locations. Maybe Culvers changed their chicken product, but it doesn't taste as fresh and chicken-like as I've had from other Culvers. I will say the employees were very nice. read more

On Sunday afternoon (at a busy time) my order got messed up. It was for my someone at a nursing home (plain cheeseburger/large fries). I also asked for an extra frie (because Culver's fries). I called Culver's to tell them and spoke to a gentleman and after a bit of explaining I didn't have my receipt (it's a splurge for the recipient) because it was in the bag I delivered to the nursing home (no visitors allowed because Covid). He tried to look it up and finally decided to take my name etc. Got the meal replaced for another nursing home delivery. THANK YOU CULVER'S for this help. I'm grateful to have this meal replaced, albeit with a bit of challenges, but again thankful. read more

Busy afternoon when I stopped in. The drive through line was long (no dine in due to COVID19), so I parked and went inside to order. Restaurant looked clean, nice lady took my order and instructed me where to get my drink and where to wait for my food. Had to wait a little longer than most fast food places, but that was probably because of all the drive through orders and that they cook food fresh to order. After a ten minute wait, my order was handed to me by the same nice lady that took my order. It was correct, I took my food to go and enjoyed it at home. Fish sandwich tasted good, fried were crispy and fluffy, soda was soda. I also got a Culver's deluxe double combo meal for my brother. It looked good too. Prices are a bit high compared to other fast food places, but my sandwich was quality. Good stuff. read more

We've frequented this Culvers since it opened. Have never had an issue with customer service or our orders, hoping that continues. It's great to go to a fast food restaurant with friendly employees. I cannot express how frustrating it is when you're spending your money at a restaurant, even fast food, and are treated like crap. Most of the local chains I won't go to for that reason. It's a nice breath of fresh air to hear manners and friendliness and see smiles from employees every time I'm here. Yes, the prices are higher when compared to some other fast food places.... but it's the price you pay for fresh food in comparison to some of the other chains. read more
