I love the food but they often leave items off of my order. One definitely has to check their bag before leabing.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Just wasted 30+ minutes standing in line only to have a cashier lie to my face and get my order wrong. There's over 10 employees on the floor but yet the manager sees it fit to only have two registers open. And on top of that, they're serving hard, cracked buns at a ridiculous mark up. You can't charge Five Guys prices for burgers and don't at least deliver on the quality. Service wise this is basically the Walmart of fast food without the low prices. read more

This is the first Chicagoland location and the 68th in the Chicago Area and Northwest Indiana. Of course I had their signature Butterburger and the Vanilla Frozen Custard. I had the burger medium well done. This is my first time here. I stayed in the Southwest Suburbs for a several years but I never went to one. lol. Since it's Culver's it's going to last. This is another big accomplishment for the residents of Bronzeville. It brings economic growth which is great! read more

The wait is entirely too long. Hire more people. There's absolutely no sense of urgency. They just don't care

This is going to be a semi short review. Although I've only been a couple of times I've never had a bad experience at this location. The one thing I will say is that they seem to always be packed! Drive thru always has a line of cars and inside is usually going to be packed as well. Literally all the burgers I've gotten are soooo bomb!! I love their food (specially the fries) and will try more. You cannot leave with out trying either a cooler or one of their many custards. You will not regret it! read more

Always fresh quality food, the burgers are the best in fast food and I could eat Culver's everyday with the different options they have.

The plus the food is fine as far as fast food goes. The down they mess us your order and it's the slowest fast food on the planet. Waited 30 yes THIRTY minutes for a cheeseburger meal with an icecream. This has happened twice before I've finally sworn the place off. read more

Stopped in today to grab lunch. Ordered, paid, got our drinks and a number. After 20 minutes (at a fast food establishment) checked on our order status. Was told they are working on it. At 25 minutes go to counter again inquiring along with 2 other individuals about our order. The other 2 got their's (they arrived after me) The manager finally at 30 minutes tries to help. Goes on each of their computer/order machines and can't find the order. I point out who served us and she just shrugged her shoulders. Told him 3 times what we ordered. We are now going on 35-40 minutes and the manager is demanding proof of purchase. I never got a receipt, just a number. When I ask if my credit card would work he said yes but walked away. Completely fed up I decided to leave and just reach out to my bank to stop payment. When I got home and saw that yes I had been charged $38.21 I called the manager. During a 5 plus minute call he never once apologized. Repeatedly told me he couldn't just hand out food without proof of purchase. When I repeatedly told him the mistake was on them not me, he said "who walks out of a place if they have paid for food and haven't gotten it". A totally pissed of person who went to a fast food place and after 40 minutes was still just trying to get her food. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE AND THE MANAGER IS WORSE. read more

You get the usual great Culver's experience at this first location in the city. They have the same typical Culver's atmosphere and nice staff. I was really impressed that multiple people offered to get me a booster seat for my kid and return it as we were leaving. If you like Culver's, or a step above fast food option with great shakes and cheese curds, then this is a nice option. They were very busy when they first opened and I think that put some strain on the new staff. They have started to slow down and that's made me more open to going more often. While the line moves quickly when busy, it still takes more time than usual. read more

Generally a huge fan of Culver's. I went to this location in the drive thru and ordered a Regular Fry and a drink. It took them 20 MINUTES to deliver the fry to my car after "pulling up" while they put it together. Definitely will not be back. read more

Horrible service. On October 28, I came through the drive thru ordering three combos/baskets. Sat in the parking lot for over 30 minutes as I watched other cars get their orders and leave. I asked one of the ladies who was delivering orders to other vehicles to check on my order but she never returned. When I went inside to follow up on my order nobody had a clue about my order. They tried to offer something for my delay but after waiting almost 40 mins for some food that I still had to wait for them to prepare, I asked for a refund and left. The ambiance of the place was very busy and confusing. Do not waste your time in the drive thru. Go inside and order if you want your food. read more

Horrible customer service! I've been here at least 5 times since it opened and they always get the order wrong. Then you say something and the employees get upset at you for pointing out the mistake. So I am excited and appreciative of the fact that Culver's decided to bring their establishment to a minority area where there was a need for them and every Culver's I've ever been to (which is many and often) I enjoy the experience, however this one is very lackluster in their performance and not up to the standards that I usually see from Culver's. It is the slowest one I've been too. It is also one of the smaller one even though it enjoys about the same amount of business as others I have seen and project that it will grow as the popularity in the area grows. They could benefit from corporate coming to train them better in how to get orders out faster. My hope is that it will get better as times goes by. read more

This fast food restaurant franchise is really a copycat of "Wendy's","Dairy Queen",and another frozen custard franchise i can't think of specifically right now,but a step down from it's idols unfortunately.Unlike "Wendy's",i didn't get a freshly hot cheeseburger served with my borderline hot french fries.I asked them for very crispy fries.After waiting for a very long time,there was no excuse for them whatsoever to not serve me a freshly hot single cheeseburger with freshly hot french fries.Giving everybody a number sticker means nothing if you're waiting for food that is halfway hot at best,period.I shouldn't have to ask them specifically to make sure they serve all of my food freshly hot,despite how really busy this location really was yesterday after a holiday weekend.The only drink choices they had besides the diabetes causing,genetically engineered sodas were a "light" lemonade and "Tropicana" fruit punch.The fruit punch was not all of that not surprisingly.I wanted "soda water" aka seltzer water,but strangely this fast food restaurant is too uppity to provide that like some other fast food restaurants have in the past.The female employee i asked about this really doesn't know what "soda water" aka seltzer water is unfortunately.My single cheeseburger wasn't even served lukewarm to the touch either.They put my lettuce,tomato,cheese,mayo,etc.,at the bottom of my single cheeseburger instead of the top strangely.I don't know about you,but i expected my ingredients to be placed on my cheeseburger the old-fashioned way because that's the best way,period.The dessert i ordered was one of their "concrete mixes".I got the chocolate one instead of the vanilla one with peanut butter and marshmallow cream for my 2 ingredient choices to be mixed in it.The peanut butter and marshmallow cream must be artificially flavored,because the chocolate flavor of their frozen custard is so powerful i couldn't taste neither the marshmallow nor the peanut butter sauces unfortunately.The security guard at this location pretended to not be a creepy nuisance,but that's exactly what he is.He was needlessly harassing me about wearing the facial diaper and social distancing,despite the fact that i was way more than six feet away from all of the other customers in a location that was halfway full at best.Most of the customers at this location was getting their food delivered to them with the employees coming to their vehicles with that,as well as the drive-thru option heavily.In the restroom,i clearly saw a small chocolate colored stain underneath the toilet seat,and it was not their chocolate frozen custard on it either.No paper towels nor a hand dryer to dry your hands conveniently for those of us that actually wash our hands. read more

I love Culver's and have eaten at this location at least 6 times without a problem. Today my strawberry sundae was filled with solidly frozen pieces of fruit. My wife got a chocolate malt that did not have a chocolate taste. There was flavoring but clearly not mixed. She ate none of it. It was pouring rain or we would have gone back to complain. They got my order wrong, was late giving me my order, called and the owner didn't believe me that my order was wrong and that they didn't give me back a receipt. Can you get catfished by a restaurant? I swear I have given this place a try and time after time they continue to disappoint. I've had a hair in my food, wrong orders, cold fries but this last time was hands down the worse. The wife and I make it a monthly date to grab a burger and head to the lakefront, I had my mayo/ketchup/mustard in the wrapper... just not on the burger. To top it off no napkins, half filled drinks which we felt immediately and asked them to be filled only only to get the usual attitude. We don't even go inside anymore because of the overwhelming smell of grease, think of sharks but worse. After a few bad incidents we have decided no more at this location. I ordered a kids meal for my duaghter with the flavor of the day with the token. Once I received my order, I went home. At that time, I realized I did not get the dessert. I live around the corner, so I came back within 5 minutes. The young lady that took my order was pleasant, and she recalled that she mistakenly did not ring me up for the dessert. Portia (Chief) said that Gail Johnson (GM) would have to approve. Portia was irritated, saying I needed my token, but I had already dropped the meal at home. Gail asked what the problem was, and I was not aware of a problem. She said I could get the custard. After driving there and back, waiting, and dealing with Portia's attitude, I asked the young lady for an extra scoop of custard for my inconvenience. Portia, whom I was not speaking to, leaves in a huff and loudly tells Gail, "He over here asking for an extra scoop." Gail comes back and again what the problem was. I explained, and I added how rude Portia was. She said that she would talk to Portia, who was staring at me through the glass at this point and attempting to debate the issue. Gail said that I would have to pay for an extra scoop. Security comes up on the side of me, not saying anything, but he was present. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at Culver's. Customer service training is needed, and they need to start giving receipts before food is delivered to the car because I have had several mistakes with my order, but this experience tops them all. No apologies from Portia, only from Gail. I hate Culver's came to Bronzeville. The customer experience was so much better when they first opened. Worst Culver's in the city of Chicago! I usually don't write reviews but this location is a mess. The employees are so rude and have absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. It's so sad to see black owned businesses do so bad and it's even worse for them because they haven't been open a good 6 months yet. First time visiting this location and the last time . My food was completely wrong and my burger had hair in it. This location did so many things wrong yesterday that I would need a couple hours to tell everything! But I won't I just won't go back. I went back to Culver's because my Mom asked me to grab some food for her. Although, I told her I wasn't going back for a awhile...She asked me not to be petty.. Because I love my Mom more than anything in the world..... I ordered a Burger for her and chicken salad for myself. The printer in the kitchen was broken so we had to wait 10 mins on top of the 30 mins we waited in line for a receipt. When I got to my Mom's house, of course my salad had no chicken. I love Culver's I go frequently in the suburbs where my parents live. This one was alright. The beef patty was burnt and had a bitter taste to it.
