They changed the tenders they sell and they look like fish Filets. The breading is horrid it has gone down hill.

What a great place. I've been here at least 20 times since it came to Avon. I haven't been disappointed yet. Burgers are great and so are the various sweets. Price is comparable to other fast food places but something tastes really different here. Something about made fresh as you order that really changes the game in fast food. I've also noticed differences in lines, meaning other restaurants are starting to have less and less lines. Guess I'm not the only one that likes this place. I hope they change nothing. Favorite fast food in the area. Good greasy buttery burgers, crinkle cut fries and spectacular custard that has ever changing flavors plus added mix ins and the classic vanilla and chocolate. I am excited that a Culver's is closer to my location. I have been to the location in Findlay, Ohio and enjoyed it. It's not a healthy menu, but delicious for a cheat day. I enjoy the cheese curds, my children enjoy the butter burgers and milk shakes. It is really crowded right now since it has recently opened, I try to stay away from the peak hours. Ordered ice-cream cone several times..this happened ...... the last time I finally said something,, The girl at the window with gloves on taking credit card and cash money forms cars in front of me .... gave me the cone with those gloves on.... I am so glad there's a Culvers in town. We need one on the east side. Great burger and fries. Always fresh, made to order. Snackpak is such a great deal. Love the crinkle fries. They have diet root beer. They bring your food out to you. They know how to screen their applicant employees so the service is always consistent. Clean, comfortable, no hassle, bright and inviting. first time at this place It will be a while before going back there are no directions for incoming people to were the line starts. some people thought you can go in have a seat at the waiter would come to you No that"s not what takes place. The family setting there 20mins no one had approached them to see if they needed help so they got up an left. As we waited for our food watched the waiter's carrier trays of food around looking for the right owners and walk around and around and around not saying a word to ask if this is your food or what number is your table. Just looked scared. And had a family there with the little one about 1-1/2 learning to walk ina full restaurant while the other customers had to look out for this little guy, heard one waiter say hay I need your help to another waiter which just stood looking around I do not know what to do. Poor Poor management for letting this new restaurant run like this. some of the food seems to look good? as we were waiting on our food did see 4 others taking their food back up front wait for someone to help them and we they finally did get the help they handed their food back to them to wait some more for there correct food. It is sad to see this new place in such chaos to were you have a half dozen people standing at the counter waiting and there is no signs or giving instructions where you are to wait for your food if you are Carrie out or if you are dining in. you have to ask the other customers how have been through this already. the manager Ralph i think it needs to get his team with more direction on what needs to take place to help customers. and for them when walking around the restaurant to say excuse me when walking in front of the customers. This Culver's location just opened in Avon, OH and it's always busy - ALWAYS. Just be forewarned ... be prepared to wait! They had lots of folks ready to take an order but just couldn't prepare and deliver it fast enough (the drive through window is always 8-10 deep with 3 or 4 cars past the window waiting for someone to run their order out to them). read more

We tried this new place today. We got our order through the drive through. We got 2 deluxe cheeseburger meals with fries and sodas and a kids cheeseburger meal with applesauce and milk. My husband also got a custard which I tried some of. The kids burger was very large for a child's portion. The French fries in the adult meals were delicious as was the butter pecan custard. The burger was ok. Nothing mind blowing but not bad. The price was over $20. I just don't think it was that good compared to the price. Maybe when they have been open a while and commotion has dies down we will try again but it probably won't be our go to burger joint. read more

I waited several days before trying this place. This is their first week open & every time I drove past, they were packed! I finally was able to get in! I went not long after they opened! I have to say the inside of the restaurant was pretty nice for a fast food place. Lots of seating, booths, tables & half booth & tables. You order at the counter then they give you a number to place on your table & they bring your food out. We waited a bit for our food to be brought out but they were getting busy & again it's their first week open. So you have to expect it won't be perfect. Anyways, on to the food. The food was definitely fresh & hot. I ordered some kind of a bacon cheeseburger combo. The burger was really good, definitely will get that again. The fries were hot, they were crinkle cut fries. Not my favorite but again, they were fresh and hot. Next time I'll get a different side. They also have diet root beer! Love it! Most restaurants only have Diet Coke or Pepsi. It was nice to have the extra diet on the menu. The only suggestion I can say to Culver's is, print out some menus so people can go look at them. Many of us have never been to a Culver's before. This is the first in our area. It seemed everybody was standing around the counter area, trying to figure out what they wanted to order, I was one of them! And I forgot my glasses so I couldn't read it very well! Well I guess I'll read the menu online & figure out what I want before I go back. And believe me, I'll be back!! read more

Oh my wow!! This was the first time we've ever had Culver's, never even heard of it before this. Let me just say their burgers are amazing, perfectly juicy with the right amount of everything. The French fries are just crinkle cut but let me say they cook them perfectly and they taste amazing as well. We also purchased an order of cheese curds those were okay they just tasted like little deep fried mozzarella balls. We can't wait to go back next time we hope to try the ice cream/custard. read more

Had Culvers for the first time today. Read the youtube reviews, etc. Had the Swish mushroom double. I would rate it a 3 out of 5. Think that the Steak and Shake Triple or double is better. More tasty and tender. read more

Took the kiddos for a treat and to try out the famous Butter Burgers. They do taste good. Very greasy, but then what can one expect of a butter burger?? It was pretty good. I did not get fries as I wanted the daily custard which was a peach custard and I added pecans. It was also pretty good, but I could barely taste the peaches and the custard didn't have a lot of taste either. The best part was the pecans which cost extra. It was a nice change from Wendy's, Burger King or Arby's but still fast food. The staff were pretty quick in cleaning tables as well. I wouldn't get excited about coming here, but I wouldn't mind doing it again sometime either. read more

Long hair found in first bite of food. General Manager on duty refused to reimburse me for entire meal. Never apologized. Told me to 'Have a nice day' on my way out the door. I was less than impressed with Omar's. I think the main problem is their menu. It is too big. They need to focus on one type of food. We had kabobs over rice. The kabobs were overcooked and tough. We also got a stromboli. The mushrooms were canned, the sausage and pepperoni had no flavor and the sauce was also obviously canned. Save your money and go somewhere else if you want Mediterranean and/or Italian. read more

This is quite the hike for me, but I'm a big fan (brings back a host of summer vacation memories), so I thought I would make the trip for nostalgia's sake and see if the food is as good as I remember it. In short - yes it is, and I may just be making the trip whenever I have a reason to be on the west side. Culver's is located in the out lot of a shopping center, between a Wendy's and a Panda Express. The lot is large, but the very busy drive-thru line snakes through the far right side so you might have some trouble getting out if you park there. I guess because the restaurant is new, there is someone to open the door and greet you. The ordering area looked pretty chaotic, but it moved quickly. Culver's has a *huge* menu, and it's worth hanging back to study your options. My Dad was partial to the pot roast sandwich, my Mom to the pork tenderloin sandwich, and of course they have chicken (both fried and grilled), fish, and even a fried shrimp basket - something that I always thought was a terrible thing to do to shrimp, but whatever floats your boat . But we kids always went for the burgers. They come in many different configurations, but, since I was there for nostalgia's sake, I decided to go the purist route: single patty, no cheese, fries and a chocolate malt - the single Butterburger basket. After you order, you are given a number stand, and you go find a table, as they bring it to you. In the early days you might have to wait, but turnover is fairly quick and I didn't have to wait more than a few minutes for one. The food and malt were brought to my table in about 12 minutes post ordering - I came at 12:30 so it was very busy, so that's not bad at all. Everything was hot and fresh. Culver's burgers & fries are very comparable to Shake Shack's and a little less expensive - I spent less than $10 to eat in. The patty was just the right thickness and crisp around the edges. The lettuce, tomato and onion were cool and crisp, the buttered bun perfectly toasted, and altogether just as I remember it. The fries are the thick crinkle cut variety and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - so good they don't need ketchup. My only disappointment was the malt - I think they forget to put in the malt powder, as it tasted like a regular chocolate shake; not that that's bad, it just wasn't what I wanted. I'm sure that it was an oversight due to the heavy lunch crowd, so I will order it again the next time I am out that way, as well as trying some of the other things I never went for as a kid. We drove out for lunch today because we heard good things about the burgers. Couldn't have been a worse experience for us. We'd have to say they were awful. The buns seemed stale, no taste to the burger and the cheese was cold. The french fries had a different taste like the oil was bad and the onion rings were greasy. So all in all, we couldn't eat it and will never never try again. We have decided that the best burgers are from Dairy Queen, believe it or not. Yes, the store just opened and it is very busy. Ten cars deep in the drive thru and completely snaked around the parking lot. Waited 30 minutes. That would have all been ok if my order was correct. I ordered two concrete mixers size medium, one with chocolate custard, hot fudge, and peanut butter cups, the other with vanilla custard, caramel, and heath bars. I received 1 small vanilla with peanut butter cups and fudge and 1 medium vanilla heath bar with caramel. I had waited too long to have them redo the order so I just took what they gave me. I realize that new restaurants go through growing pains but things need to improve. read more
