Walked to this location for lunch to find out they were not opening the dining room until 4:30. Fine.. that was only 20 minutes away. Waited until well after 4:30 for employees to tape signs to the door that they weren't opening at all. No decency to tell us directly. For a fast food joint, this is a pretty great one. Their menu is large with tons of burgers, ice creams, and more. Their cheese curds are my weakness and their seasonal special Pretzel Haus Burger is to die for. It goes without saying that this isn't exactly a healthy choice, but it is great as a nice treat when you are craving something a little more greasy. Their drive-thru is also insanely efficient. Rather than making everyone wait behind you for your food, they have you pull up and park your car curbside, so people can get around you. Then, an employee brings your food straight to your car. Pick up some cheese curds, a staple in Wisconsin- home of the Culver's franchise. And definitely try the frozen custard...flavor of the day or you can pick a pint to go of recent flavors. The daily selection for my visit was Chocolate Heath Bar Crunch. Could've used MORE Heath but the flavor was good and the custard was super creamy and just plain ol' yummy. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the fries were a little underdone for my taste, but I do like that they were crinkle cut for a change. There's also not a whole lot of seating, but at least there is a good amount of waiting room. Make your order, get a number tag, and your food will be brought to you when it's ready. What a disappointment! When I heard northeast Ohio was getting a Culver's my family and I were so excited! We love it and always drove to Columbus (two hour drive) just for that! A few weeks ago we decided to give it a go since it just opened. It was very busy which I thought was a good sign. We ordered 3 butter burgers and fries. I ordered my burger with a gluten free bun (kudos on having GF buns not everyone has these!) When we got our food the fries were barely warm and my parents hamburger buns were crumbling apart so we knew they were not fresh. My GF bun came in a package obviously so no cross contamination and it was the best GF bun I have ever had so thank you for having delicious option for us with Gluten allergies. We were very disappointed with the food it didn't taste like anything that we are used to when we go to a Culver's establishment. I mean this place has been open for only 2 weeks and your buns are crumbling? Maybe Gordon Ramsay should come and investigate to make sure the rest of the food isn't old. My other complaint is the child who was screaming bloody murder for the 45 minutes we sat inside and ate. I was Impressed it was like 2 steps up from Steak and Shake it was a great tasting Burger. Well seasoned and the fries were great as well . The place was super packed because they just opened but the food was great I waited like 10 mins for my food but that's good for a grand opening they had at least 30 people working to handle the crowds. Just visited the new Culver's in Avon and really loved my burgers, fries and shake. The staff was friendly as they took my order and the facilities were clean and comfortable. The food was good. We had butterburgers- 3 singles and a deluxe. They were good burgers, but maybe a touch heavy with the onion on the deluxe. Then we had the fries and our kids had chocolate custard scoops. The issues we encountered had nothing to do with taste. They were with other things. When we ordered, after waiting in the drive thru for a very long time (they were incredibly busy-good for them!), they were out of a number of items we attempted to order. We could not get the cheese curds, onion rings, chocolate milk or tea-sweet or unsweetened. This bothered us a bit, but what can you do, they are new and still working things out. The other issue is that we asked for a plain burger and there was ketchup on it, one was supposed to have ketchup and did not. So there were some iminor order errors. All in all, we were very pleased with the quality of the food. It is a little pricey for a fast food place, but I think it was worth it. This is definitely a place that I would go again. Just placed an order with curbside delivery option. The wait was supposed to be 4 minutes from the time I placed my order and I was parked in a space that was designated for curbside delivery. After 20 minutes of waiting we had to go inside to see what was going on. The food was just sitting there getting colder and they didn't seem to even know that curbside delivery was an option from their own website. No attempt was made to call or provide hot food. Wanted to see what everyone was raving about so my wife and I stopped by the new Avon location on a day when we were off and they were not packed. The interior was nice a little more on an upscale fast food place. Burgers were quite tasty although I thought patties just a tad on thin side. I had the double bacon cheeseburger and onion rings were cooked perfectly. They do have GF buns which my wife loved since she has Celiac. However her french fries were nothing special, looked like what you get from a bag at grocery store and were plain with no seasoning.. We travel to Avon at least every other week and Culver's has become a frequent stop since my original post. It it usually fairly busy, but not enough to turn us away. I was drunk but the food was just ok Expensive as anything 50$ for two hungry and wasted adults. Butterburger is just butter on bread with a regular hamburger. No. Nothing special When I get messed up I really love eating anything....gas station hotdogs, potato chips with mayonnaise , Subway with double chicken and cheese and mustard. Update: Have been back twice (dine-in) and have been hugely disappointed with the level of service. The employees are lacking basic interpersonal communication skills and don't really seem to know what they're doing- the second of which is a fault in management training their employees poorly. Waited 20 minutes for custard order that was lost in the mix. Instead of an apology, I got nothing. Again, food is great but this location needs to do some serious revamping or business is going to greatly suffer. Original: I am a big fan of culvers. Probably bigger than normal fans. But I waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru to order cheese curds and a lemon cooler. After my 20 minutes wait to order, I had to pull up and wait an additional 5 minutes for my order. The girl didn't take my number tent so I had to wait for her to deliver the food to the other cars too to give her my number back and then the top of my cooler was not on correctly when they handed it to me and it spilled all over my car. Every table should have a defibulator. Hard to make healthy choices. I took my mom to the new Culver's after a doc appt. She lived in Wisconsin for a little bit and I thought this would be a nice reminiscent lunch. The chicken soup was nothing special. Can-ish. The french fries were hot but my order got screwed up from the nervous new staff. I ordered a small container of liquid cheese for fry dipping. It reminded me of stadium nacho cheese. The chili had a good base flavor but was super salty. One shake away from a heart attack. They have salads, but I was hoping for other lower calorie choices. This place is not for me. read more

I am updating my rating because I gave them a few more tries over the past few months and the last three times were great. The double deluxe butter burgers were fresh and flavorful. There ice cream and shakes are great. Thank goodness there is a Culver's in NEO. I could tell you about the butter burger, the cheese curds, the tasty chicken fingers or the crinkle cut fries. But instead, let me tell you about the concrete mixers. Those this sounds like a questionably industrial dish, it's actually a frozen custard dish akin to the dairy queen blizzard. First step - which size? Personally, i find the mini to be plenty. Next - chocolate or vanilla? I'm sure the latter is just fine but the chocolate is amazing. You can add as many of the toppings that you want. My fave combos are Andes and oreo or heath and reese's. Again, so glad to have this in our area. It's well worth the hike to Avon. read more

Lunch date with the boyfriend. First thing you see stepping in is a massive menu with tons of options. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table if you dine in. I tried the chili. I thought it was delicious. My boyfriend got cheese curds with Rance and a butter cheese burger. He said that the burger was better than Wendy's. He ate all the curds so I assume he liked them. In the span of four months, was shorted on food 3 times. Fries dumped all over other food in the bag. Called the corporate office with no response. Owned finally called after three weeks and promised to make it right. Got zero, nothing. This is why we are all giving Swenson's our business. I highly doubt anyone from the Culver's chain even reads or responds to these posts. Must be why they they have a sign looking for new employees. Owner is too busy opening up new locations. Stopped at this location around 6pm for take out. There were a dozen or so cars in the drive thru line, so decided to go inside to order. Found out doors were locked so reluctantly got back in drive thru line with over a dozen cars ahead and prepared myself for a very long wait. Waited about 15 minutes. I had a large order. Got to the window and found out there were some very young adults running the show. The inside was locked due to being under staffed. Let me tell you, these young adults ran this location very efficiently and very professionally. They were all busting there asses, got my order right and in a reasonable amount of time despite the amount of cars ahead of me. Food was hot and dam good! I cannot say enough!! read more

Much much better burgers than any chain. That being said, I'm not sure how long they will last being this close to Swensons- that place is on another planet compared to Culver's. This is a great place to eat some fast food with the family. My 7 year old said " if I could rate the place I would give it 5 stars!" I said "How about almost five?" It's got tasty cheese curds and a cod sandwich. My son ate chicken tenders kids meal. My hubbs and I first ate at this place in South Carolina a few years ago and loved their ice cream:) the line went fast and the customer service was great. read more
