Dined in for dinner on a week night. -family of 2. The older cashier never gave us a number card (my first time here, I didn't know) Our meals were cold because they were circulating the dining room looking for our number card. (We were not given one). The restaurant was not crowded. I ordered the double butter burger, onion rings, soda. Family ordered the fish sandwich fries, soda. I'm really disappointed with my recent visit to Culver's. The girl working the drive-thru window was extremely rude and unprofessional. From the moment she started taking my order, her tone was irritated and condescending -- like I was an inconvenience just for being there. She talked very short and made it very clear she didn't want to be taking my order. It honestly felt like I was interrupting her day. She over filled my cup, visibly seeing soda over flowing in my cup holder . Continued to shut the window and not offer any napkins ect. Lucky another co worker stepped in and offered napkins but after the soda made a mess in the car . I usually enjoy Culver's because of the friendly service, but this experience completely changed my impression. I'm glad I gave Culver's a few tries before making a decision. Initially, I wasn't impressed on my first visit but they have since changed my mind. I love their bacon cheeseburger combo - get the fried cheese curds! It is a bit pricey but it's worth it for the amount of food you get. They are known for their frozen custard shakes but personally I always have to get their root beer. It is their own special recipe and it reminds me of drinking root beer as a kid. It has a creamy, vanilla taste to it. I also think their drive thru is very efficient. You order first at the speaker, then pay at the window and get your drinks and ice cream, then you pull up in line behind the building and they bring out your food when it's ready. They know who you are because they put a post it on your side mirror with a number on it that matches your order number. I'd say if you're on the fence give them another shot! read more

It was very juicy. It was a bit greasy but I figured it was the butter, I don't mind a greasy burger once in awhile. My wife had a coffee float which she loved the ice cream was very silky & smooth. First time to Culver's. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, which was not tasty at all and lacked any type of flavor. The pickles were the only appealing part. I also got the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were standard and basic, but good. My hubby got the fries, so I tasted a few of those. They were crinkle cut and pretty tasty. Light salt. Culver's is delicious and I love this one right by the Avon shopping center, and right by the highway. They are known for their butterburgers, cheese curds, and custard. While they have a flavor of the day for each location, there is no discount on the flavor of the day and I'm not sure why Culver's hypes on that so much, so please ignore that. Their green mint sauce on their custard is truly heavenly -- if you like mint, order double the amount and thank me later. For a fast food restaurant they have a pretty diverse menu and includes many types of fish sandwiches and seafood options (not one like McDonalds and Burger King) and also has some healthy sides like green beans. Their grilled chicken sandwich also is very refreshing, albeit the bun is slightly large so you're consuming a lot of carbs there. They do have an udi's gluten free bun option, which is considerate being there are many out there who are gluten free and need to nom on the road, but I haven't tried it so can't speak to it. I don't think their butter burgers are the best burgers I've ever had, but they're delicious. The cheese curds are the right amount of crisp and chew and are a treat, as they're pretty rare to find outside of Wisconsin and Canada. And the custard is worth coming for alone. So happy that Culver's has some locations around Cleveland. It's a treat. read more

The butterburger with cheese has a nice grill crust on the burger, but it's still juicy. The cheese curds are a good French fry replacement. $9 And change for a combo basket. I remember the first time I visited Culver's a few years ago on a business trip. I had been working with one of my suppliers. It was lunch time and she said to me, have you ever been to Culver's? I had no idea what she was talking about. She lives on the East Coast and always took advantage of her trips to Wisconsin to eat at this place. So who was I to take that away from her. So we had our lunch and it was memorable believe it or not. A few years later I saw a Culver's when we were on a road trip and had to have my husband stop there for lunch. He liked it. Now getting back to this one in Ohio. The Avon area has blossomed and many new places are opening up. We have visited this particular restaurant twice. The first time was just ok. This time it was such a different experience. The employees are excellent. You place your order and have a seat. You are not just standing there like you are on some food ration line waiting to grab your tray. You can actually have a seat and talk to you're companion. Or just totally ignore each other and stare at your phone. Lol. Actually I didn't see any of that. It was fun watching couples, youngsters and parents, friends just chatting. Go figure!! The lady who served us felt like she was Auntie Carver just bringing our food and making us feel welcome. We watched videos of how they give back to the farmers, the community the fresh food they source and how they go about cooking it. The meal tasted fresh, the atmosphere was family oriented.
