Food was delicious. Service was fast Staff was very helpful and polite. Definitely one of the better five guys I've been to. read more

Restaurant was very clean. Staff was super friendly and personable. Food was pretty good. I got the cheeseburger all the way and a regular fry. The fry was so large we shared and still didnt finish them. The burger was alright but it tasted bland even with all the toppings. I felt like the burger was super greasy which I guess is par for tbe course but more flavor less grease. Overall 5 guys is pretty good. read more

First time here in two years. If I order bacon, and you CHARGE ME for bacon, put bacon on the burger. Also wait on the second cook on the fries until the burger is almost done. I used to always get hot fries; the last few times they have been just warm for sitting too long while waiting on the burgers. I'll try you again in a couple more years. read more

We've been coming here since they opened. Every burger we've had has been great! And I don't order fries anytime we go other places bc I'm not a big fan of fries, but I love their fries here. We've never encountered bad service. For the price it's such a good value bc they don't continually shrink their burger size like most places where they're closer to slider size. These are full size burgers that taste amazing with a ton of toppings/condiments! read more

Is this a $5 milkshake? Probably not. But a once in a while treat? Why not? They have about 10 flavors. It was a bit whippy and airy. Thick but not dense like you make at home. Oh yeah they have great fries. Medium is enough to share. Their burgers are good. They really look like their pictures. Don't forget a little cheeseburger is a single & a regular cheeseburger is a double. Still think it's a bit pricy for burger, fries & shake. But if that's what you're hankering for, it's worth it. read more

I have come in twice for a "to go burger". I don't like a lot of condiments and each time I asked for lettuce and ketchup only. I like the crunch of lettuce on my burger so asked for extra lettuce each time. Each time I received a very tiny bit of wilted lettuce. The Avon location is the only place this happens as I have had plenty of lettuce at other locations. Probably won't be back. read more

Food was amazing I got a hotdog with barbecue sauce 10/10 would recommend! Service was quick and hot! Atmosphere was clean and smelled nice

Got to watch 7 workers dance and sing while they skipped my order number. When I walked in thought it was going to be a good experience because they asked right away to put on my patties so I Wouldn't be waiting long, but then I just watched my food pass me Up while everyone else got served my burgers. I had to go to the counter and address this, but they didn't try to fix the problem at all. Who seemed to be the manager knew I was frustrated and had been looking at me the whole time as I sat there and waited. Needless to say won't be back. TERRIBLE SERVICE. If I wanted to watch people screaming, laughing, and dancing around I would have gone to a kids play land. read more

I was worried I wasn't going to like it as much as I love Brown Bag Burgers, well don't worry it was just as good. Basic, good burger, nothing crazy. Location is nice, right on the end of the plaza. Staff was friendly, food was quick, just a good overall experience. read more

Tasty food, super fries. One problema tho. Buns can get soggy. They also have a multitude of milkshakes that I also recommend.

I always love the burgers here at this five guys location. I've been to quite a few and this one is also relatively quick for the amount of people that come in. For a restaurant that serves shelled peanuts they manage to keep up the floors surprisingly clean. On a Sunday night there was quite a few staff members working- 7 that I could count- almost out numbering the number of guests. Maybe it was training night? Either way the food is really good and I will continue to return. read more

On my opinion, this place is excellent! I love their burgers, nice and big and greasy! Tons of toppings to choose from at no extra cost. The fries are really good and the amount of fries that you get is great! The reason for 4 stars is the pricing. Paying over $20 for burgers, fries and pop is kinda ridiculous IMO. I would recommend five guys to anyone because of the food. If you are on a budget, there are other places with good burgers that is cheaper. read more

Five Guys is the place to go when you want a good burger and fries fast. The menu is very simple - burgers and fries. The burger: always cooked well done, but still juicy. Pick as many toppings as you want, but don't miss the grilled onions and mushrooms. Very flavorful, always satisfying. The fries: #3 fries in Cleveland, behind Lola and Bar Cento (which is good company!). Idaho potatoes cut and fried right on site. Somewhere between shoestrings and chips in width, these are fantastic. Just crispy enough, and vinegar is available for those who really know how to enjoy a fry. While I have never had them, there are also hot dogs, grilled cheeses, and a veggie sandwich (not a veggie burger - a veggie sandwich). A few things for the first-timer: A "cheeseburger" is really a double cheeseburger - ordering a "Little Cheeseburger" is probably what you're expecting when you order the former. (No one is going to go hungry on a little burger!) The same goes with french fries - two people can easily share a regular fry. I repeat: two people can easily share a regular fry. The only reason to order a large fry is to server 3-4 people. Without the information above, one could easily conclude that Five Guys is overpriced by ordering (for two people) two "cheeseburgers" and two "regular fries." This will get you enough food for four people, and will set you back $24. The key to recession friendly-eating at Five Guys is splitting - get a cheeseburger (which is a double!) and a regular fry. Between the satisfying stack of toppings on the burger, the big bag of fries and all-you-can-eat shell-your-own peanuts, you'll do just fine. Between this menu confusion and the lack of a veggie burger (or organic/grass-fed/free-range/douche-bag patties), I'm setting them back a star. For the legal team: Everything is gluten free (except the bun), there is no trans fat, they use peanut oil for the fries, Five Guys may be addicting. read more

My hubby and I came to five guys last weekend right before closing time. Let me tell you this first, we have been here numerous times before and everything has always been really good with no problems. My review is based on my most recent visit. Honestly, I don't know if I'll go back again . They close at 10 on Saturday nights. We got there right around 9:30. The cashier was friendly enough but the food was terrible. We always order a large Cajun spiced fry. I always get the Cajun fry. But this time there was so much Cajun spice on them that my husband and I both were gulping our drinks down because our throats were burning! I think they literally dumped the whole container of Cajun on our fries. On to my burger, when I opened the foil on my burger it wasn't even put together right. The lettuce wasn't even on my burger. It was just wrapped in the foil. I understand it was late & they want to get out of there but it doesn't take long to put the lettuce on. To make matters worse, my burger was raw in the middle. Now this is not a place where ordering medium or medium rare is even an option. Again I understand it was close to closing time but seriously what would it have taken to cook my burger all the way? An extra 2 minutes maybe? I know it sounds like I'm complaining so much but I love going out & when your food sucks, it's s huge disappointment!! Also five guys has peanuts to snack on while you're waiting for your food. They used to have little paper bowls to put your peanuts in but there weren't any this time. How was I supposed to carry my peanuts? In my hand? Sorry five guys, your food is a little pricey and for it to be undercooked & over seasoned seems like a waste of money for me. I didn't complain because, there were 3 young kids working, I don't think any of them were a manager. And it was obvious those kids wanted out of there. read more

Five Guys is traditionally very good food for a burger joint. Where this location goes wrong is the hiring of illiterate teenagers. I dont think I've been served a pile of trash this bad at any other encounter at any other five guys location. This place screws up more often than my local McDonalds but at quadruple the price. What kind of trash company charges 6 dollars for a sub-par quality sandwich, but still leaves a bunch of unsupervised children to run a business...poorly I might add. This is ridiculous. Please find competent management staff, and maybe look for some employees that can READ. It would be nice to try and enjoy some food and actually get what I came in for. Not this trash...that i put in my trash can...because it was trash. read more

The food and service gets worse every time we come. This might be the last for this location. Last time (about a month ago) our burgers were burnt and dried out. Ordered online this time and still had to wait...in an empty restaurant on a Saturday night. The workers were standing around and we arrived 5 min after my order was scheduled to be done but they hadn't started it yet. My burger had onion on it (I'm allergic) and when I asked nicely if they could remake it the manager was rude and treated me like I was the problem. Then while we ate she and the other workers proceeded to yell and scream and laugh to the point of being obnoxious. The manager seemed very young and immature. I saw her tell a couple workers to do something and they yelled back loudly, "No!" By the way, the second burger had pieces of onion mixed in the lettuce as well. read more

I love 5 guys... The burgers, the fries, the hot dogs, everything! This location is exceptional because of the service. The manager at the time I was there, Carrie, not sure if the spelling, was very nice. One of the workers Lexie was also very nice and made the burgers just right. read more

I tend to eat vegetarian, but Five Guys burgers are the best of the burger chains, even compared to In N' Out Burger... The large fries are huge and the toppings are fresh and tasty. The problem is that I always eat a few peanuts before the burger and walk out stuffed...just goes to show you that a short menu does not mean that the experience will be somehow reduced. Anyone who hasn't tried the franchise should do so right now! You won't be disappointed. If you are lucky enough to be in D.C., however, I envy you. If you're in Ohio, then this will be the closest you'll get to burger heaven. read more

Absolutely the best burger chain around. They offer huge, delicious sandwiches with a wide selection of toppings and a gratuitous helping of fries - don't waste time or money opting for a larger size, a small is more than enough for multiple people. Some examples of the helpings include their regular "cheeseburger" having two patties - the double cheeseburger is the default. All of the portions are this generous, and you can watch as the usually-friendly cooks make your food right in front of you. Perfect for takeout and for feeding a large group fast, especially kids or generally hungry people. Simply put, this is some of the best fast food you can buy, but be sure to come hungry. read more

My order was a little off but when I went back the manager corrected the mistake immediately and was very happy to help. Burgers taste great here. Can't be happier. Negative reviews here are puzzling I'm here once a week at least. read more

Best burgers and fries in town!!! Staff is always amazing. I had 2 mess ups with them forgetting to put A1 sauce on my burger, I called...they remade it. I went back home they forgot it AGAIN! But they were SO NICE about it, apologized profusely, remade it, let me keep the first remake, gave me my finally corrected burger, threw in free fries AND a milkshake! They will never lose my business. Even though they messed up...twice...it still wasn't a bad experience at all! read more

This is one of the best five guys I've been to. The staff was very friendly and nice, our food too a little linger because they were low on bacon and they came to the table to apologize. Very clean, restrooms were clean and soda area. Nice job Avon 5. Guys read more

Great burger the way I want it, but the best part is the large portion of fries. It's been awhile since we've been here. When they opened, we were here every other week. Burnt out! Now we are back. Maybe we will go every other month or so. Yes, will return. read more

There is 1 good thing about this place. The food itself (that is if they decide to actually wrap my burgers instead of throwing them in a brown bag with half the tin foil not wrapped all the way). Terrible manners from the workers. Terrible environment. Terrible service. If you like five guys do NOT go to the one in Avon. Pussies. read more

Burgers, fries, and a coke. That's what they serve and they don't mess around. This location was manned by someone who was super receptive for my need to have a burger without a bun and I even heard him directing the staff to make sure they changed their gloves while handling my burger. I tried to banter about touching my buns but he didn't see the humor in my comments. I guess that's for the best. read more

Love Five Guys Burgers. It is one of the best burgers in the area for the price. Always fresh and you get plenty of fries to share.

Incredible food and even better service. You could tell the cashier was new and was a tad lost and the gentleman on the grill came over to assist with no problems. Always so friendly it honestly makes you smile with how friendly they are. I wish I knew the gentleman's name so the owner could give him recognition. Every company needs someone like him. He deserves a raise. Definitely our favorite location we've been to. read more

I've been to this 5 guys twice now. Its good. I like it. Santa and Mrs. Clause came in the most recent time I stopped by (December--obviously quite a long time ago). The kitchen staff are fun and loud. They are also very accommodating if you want to change something or made a mistake on your order. Also, sitting out front in the summer time is a good spot to veg out with burger, fries and vinegar. read more

Great burgers and awesome fresh cut fries. I love being able to configure my burger the way I like it. Staff is always friendly and provide excellent service. And another fun thing to experience here ... listening to the young staff attempt to sing (or should I say butcher?) along with classic rock hits from the 60's and 70's. read more

I used to like this place. They used to have a better staff who were trained better. Now, it's almost like going to Wendy's. The food is still great, but the fry portions are shrinking. A manager once told me they were supposed to put a heaping topper on a large, but that hasn't been the case for me for many months. I used to eat here all the time, but I'm not going much anymore because the value and quality of the staff is decreasing. read more
