Tried to call to get it remade after 25 rings I had a strange conversation with some telling me they made the wings with ranch. I had never heard of Slim Chickens before but Sunday morning my team lead suggested it for lunch so I gave it a try. I have to say I enjoyed it greatly. The chicken portion on the sandwich was plentiful, the size of the fry order (included in the combo) was large, and the order of fried pickles was enormous. There was a lot more food than I was expecting. My chief complaint was the saltiness of the fried pickles was a bit much, but still delicious. Service was very fast and friendly. I'm disappointed in the service. They have not been open long. This is the second time I came and the service this time was beyond awful. I went in only to get the desserts since it's delicious (hence the 2 star). I had to wait 14 minutes to place my order when I was at the counter, no one in front of me. The girls was running orders and sauces to people at the tables. I told her that I only wanted dessert which she still told me to wait. The case with the dessert is behind the register, which the door was left open upon my arrival and remained for a few minutes. People ignored it walking past til someone finally closed it. She said she's the only one in the front. I told her that the manager should help. She said he's busy. I saw a man cleaning tables, someone working drive thru, and when I looked at the kitchen, I saw a girl sitting there chewing with her mouth open. Very unprofessional. Loving the new Slim Chickens fast food restaurant in Avon! There's always a big line for the drive thru, but my wife and I have always just gone inside to order. The young workers are very friendly and the food is made fresh to order, with a minimal wait time. The chicken sandwiches and tenders have been moist and flavorful. We'll have to try their wings next time! Of their multiple sauce choices, I've had the gravy and Slim Sauce and both were good. I'll have to try them all! The Mac and cheese we had was very good, nice and cheesy with no grease. Fries are nicely seasoned. Their big variety of self serve beverages is great! I was pleasantly surprised with the food too. It's like a Chik-fil-a mixed with Cane's, not the cheapest food, but good quality, and we very much enjoyed our meal. Chicken sandwich, tenders, fries, sauces, and mac n cheese were all very delicious. A bit on the pricey side for a takeout lunch, but most places besides Taco Bell and McDonalds cost the same.
