This is a Chicago company that I'm glad has landed in Cleveland. I was never a fan of Subway or any of those other places. Potbelly is different. How? Allow me to explain. First, I'll tell you what I usually get, then build from there. I love their turkey, Swiss, and avocado--my absolute fave. Their Italian "Wreck" is Ah-Mazing. The new prime rib is also excellent. For these sandwiches to work, you really need to start with fresh ingredients, or they'll be awful. After they come out of the oven, they add the avocado. I usually add the lettuce, onion, tomato, and a heaping helping of mayo and giardiniera or hot peppers. They're SO good. Their sandwiches are stuffed with ingredients, regardless of which size you get. The Skinny is filling; that's their smallest size. But wait, there's more! Their bagged chips are sui generis to Potbelly. I haven't even seen them sold in Chicago. But they pair perfectly with their sandwiches. Now, I recommend washing this all down with a bit of sweetness. Their Dream Bars are AH-MAZING. Grab one, even if you save it for later. I love them. I'm a big fan of their lemonade because I'm just sick of carbonated sodas. Folks, Clevelanders....it's worth your while to give this place an honest shot! Potbelly... bring back the PB&J! They were crumbs and fries and stuff everywhere. With the number of employees behind the counter, not prepping any food inside or drive-through you would think that at 12:32. The restaurant would be sparkling clean waiting for luncheon diners... Not so much. This has become a dirty little restaurant as I like to call them. Extremely disappointed in this visit today. They closed the Arby's on Engle Road, which is right around my house which was brand new 10 years ago and it was a stupendous restaurant great food, hot food, timely service nothing like this one which hasn't been here that long either. I need to find a decent Arby's --I believe the hunt will be difficult. The only one "bell worthy"that I even drive past is the one on Pearl Road in Strongsville. And I don't recall seeing a bell in this berea store. Very disappointing sorry Arby's.
