I have been super stressed with uncertainty at my place of employment, state of the world etc... Came to Jersey Mike's today at lunch with one of my best buddies I have known over 20 years. The staff was fantastic and the sandwich was outstanding. These are solid old school subs. Not sure why the reviews are not 5 star across the board. I am guessing it is because of people using third party delivery apps, Apple Pay and other dystopian stuff that was created to make our life easier yet results in the opposite. I am so frustrated. Let me preface this by saying I worked at JMs for years, managed locations and even opened new locations in Texas. I know how a sandwich is supposed to be made, the values of the company, and what is expected of its employees. Today fell short on all aspects. I called in my order over the phone and was very clear with what I wanted. The lady over the phone seemed rude and impatient while taking my order. When I arrived it seemed like the rush just finished, I checked my sandwich before I left and it was incorrect. I had to have it remade, in the mean time 5 more people walked in behind me. I felt bad because now I am holding them up when I was trying to save everyone time by calling ahead. I saw how she cut my meat, it was not flowered, it was flat on the sub. When they went to cut the bread they didn't cut it thru so I had to pull it apart which made a mess later. They wrapped it incorrectly as well, the sandwich leaked ALL OVER MY SEAT. I counted the logos on the paper, there are supposed to be 4, I saw 3. Everything is done with intention at JM and the team is supposed to take pride in their work. A rush is not a reason for subpar product. You are paying for a premium sandwich the experience should be as well. I hate to be this "Karen" but if this was my store NONE of this would have happened. I really hope someone reads this and takes it as an opportunity to empower the team to excellence. read more

I love Jersey Mikes but did not have a good experience at the one on Broadview Road. The guy wrapped my sandwich very sloppy and when I went to pay on my phone with the Apple Pay it wouldn't work. The lady next to him which was not very nice said well we never have problems with the machine and I said well since no one is helping me I'll just use my card. Staff was not very pleasant. I've gone to the Parma location several times over the last couple months. Ive become kinda addicted. My subs are always made just how I like them. I like how you can see what they are putting on your sub. I love the "juice!" It gives the subs great flavor! I get the Original Italian made mike's way plus Mayo and pickles. There's plenty of meat on that sandwich so you will not be left wanting. I will be back soon. read more

Jersey Mike's makes a very solid hot Italian sub. It's a classic sub with the usual meats, shredded lettuce, tomato, and the critical sliced white onions. I got my sub Mike's way, which includes, oil & vinegar, and seasonings. It was a very tasty sub with fresh bread. I'll eventually make my way around their menu, but their are so many sandwich shops around that this task could take the better part of a decade. Keep it up, Jersey Mike's! read more

The first couple bites were good for myself and my family, until we hit the huge amount of mustard they put into our sandwiches and wraps. Couldn't taste anything but vinegary mustard. We couldn't even finish our food. When we called to explain, they only offered a 30% refund. I recommend going to another location or Firehouse Subs instead. Wouldn't have posted this if they would have just apologized and gave a full refund. read more

I just got back from picking up a sub from your shop on Center Ridge in Rocky River, Ohio. There was 1 customer when I walked into the store. There were 4 employees. There were 3 men and 1 women. The young lady said hello and took my order. While waiting for the order, I noticed that the area around the register was dirty and I mentioned to the clerk about it. He was waiting to put a sub in a bag. He acknowledged but did nothing to clean the counter. It would have taken less than 30 seconds. The area with add one for the sandwiches needed refilling and was also a mess. After waiting for a few minutes, another clerk handed me my sandwich. I told him the counter was still a mess. I am glad that I got home and ate before writing this review! Upon our arrival we were greeted by a young man that asked "what can I get you". My grandson ordered first, a giant cheesesteak on white, I ordered a regular cheesesteak with no onions on wheat as well as a regular veggie on rosemary bread. First to come up was the veggie and a fantastic young lady helped me out by asking what I wanted on the sandwich. She made it all up, wrapped it up and all was good. Next up we're both cheesesteaks, here is where the issue comes in, both of them were wrapped up and placed in sleeves and then the bag and we were on our way home. Not one time we're either of us asked what else we wanted on the subs. This wouldn't be so bad but I asked when placing the order if there was anything else or what else do you need from me! After arriving home I realized that both cheesesteaks were regular not one regular and one giant! Shame on us for not watching every move they made while making our food!! Upside is that all 3 subs were very good, mine was great being just as that made it. The fact that we were not asked what else we wanted is just a service or training issue that needs to be addressed. All in all the food was great just the service was lacking! read more

We ordered two subs, they put one in the bag and forgot to give us the second. Turns out they put it in someone else's bag. After realizing this, the cashier walked around the counter and rummaged through the other customers bag to retrieve my sandwich, then handed it over. The subs weren't the best ever, but certainly better than Subway. The staff needs more training, they all looked lost. There was definitely no leadership in the building. Please take the time to teach your workers how to treat customers. To keep their egos aside and no matter how stressed and frustrated they are to not take it out on the customers. And do not tell a customer trying to express valid concerns to stop talking. At no time was I raising my voice. I was just trying to say no matter how busy you are to acknowledge your customers. My online order was ready and paid for. Stood right in front of cashier where we wait for our online orders to be completely ignored for several minutes. And one tall gentleman to yell at me and say my concerns were not valid. And to stop talking. And to leave store. And my comments and concerns were not called for. If someone ordered on line and already paid for order and their order is ready why would we not take priority over someone else whose order is not ready yet nor paid for yet? And as a regular workers should already know me and other regulars by name why would it be so hard to turn around, pick up my order and hand it to me? Would have taken two seconds. Instead I was screamed at for daring to suggest they acknowledge their customers. At least say hello to them. Again stress is no reason to treat your customers horribly. My concerns,were valid. Never should have been told to stop talking. I was speaking calmly and never should have been told to leave store. I was never out of line. Other customers in Parma Ohio store even told me he was in wrong and so was she and they were being rude to me. He caused a major scene by flying off the handle on me in front of others. All due to his ego and taking frustration out on me. And cashier claimed she could walk out door. No skin off my back if she does. That is not how someone should treat another human being. Sandwiches are great. This is why I have been a regular but they should not be allowed to treat customers that way. Corporate should wish to fix this. I have a bad back. Prolonged standing is painful for me due to disability which is why I order online so it can be ready when I come in. My comment to him was NEVER out of line. Acknowledge your customers. Say hello to them. Two seconds was all I was asking. All it would take to turn around pick up bag and hand it to me. That was all. No excuse ignoring people there for pickup. Perhaps have an area where customers can come in and pick up their orders as it is done at other places so it is not sitting behind counter. This store used to do it that way. Suggestion is valid. Very good subs! The ingredients are fresh and you can get both hot and cold sandwiches. Definitely a step up from places like Subway and Jimmy Johns. Even just a simple lunch meat sub here tastes much better than other places. Well worth the higher prices for better quality food. read more

We used to go here a lot. Food is good but the last visit will be our final visit to this location. Completely unacceptable to expect customers to wait while you prepare a catering order right at dinner time. In the short term it probably made sense to make a few hundred quick bucks, but long term it was a terrible decision. We used to spend $30-40 a week in that store and it became part of our weekend routine. Luckily, Swensons is right down the street and thanks to the kid working last Sunday, we got to try it for the first time. This is my spot! I feel like the employees know every person that walks through their door and it makes for a great environment that you don't typically see in 2015. It's a "sub shop" but DO NOT file them away with the "Subways" of the world. This place is on a whole other level. The ingredients are simple and fresh. Meats are sliced on the counter right in front of you. They have a rewards club, so rack up the points towards free menu items. Pepsi products on tap, TVs in the corners, and menu items to fit everybody's needs. (Veggie options,kids menu, etc). Definitely worth a try but be careful because you won't want to ever eat a sub from anywhere else. read more

Really enjoy everything about this place. The staff is always very friendly, and the subs are great, no matter which one you pick. I have tried the Italian, Rueben, Cheesesteak, they are all delicious. I love the hot subs, and how soft the bread is. I have to say, the service has improved tremendously since it's opening last year, the staff seems to be well trained, and very knowledgeable about the menu. I love this place- best subs in town! the people are always friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. sometimes we place our order online and go pick em up, but sometimes we just stop in- never had to wait more than a few minutes for my sandwich- they are always loaded with meat and Mike's way is the best with any of the cold cut subs. I never pay more than $14 for a giant, but I did see an add for Uber eats and went to there website they charge almost $20 for the same sandwich and then a delivery charge on top of it. I've seen Jersey Mikes around the city for years but had a long standing allegiance to Subway and Jimmy Johns. I no longer eat Subway and didn't want JJ or a sub from GetGo on this day. I used Yelp to find JM's close to me and decided to give it a try. I was impressed that they cut my deli meat and cheese to order and their option of making my sandwich the "Mikes Way" was intriguing so I tried it. Better than average subs for a national chain- a level above Subway & Quiznos, but not as good as Penn Station. Get the Original Italian 'Mike's Way'. The subs are then doused in vinegar, oil, and spices. The subs are good, but quite messy. The service at this particular location is very uneven- last time I went there were four employees; one doing all the work and the other three had no clue and had to be told everything from running the register, to how many onions to put on the grill. Stopped at this location for the first time today. The menu here seems a bit limited. Really didn't have anything that appealed to me since it was about the same as Subway. I finally ordered the meatball and cheese sub. Not sure but it appeared there were two meatballs cut in quarters, buried and overwhelmed by the bread. The meatballs were okay. There just wasn't enough of them. The bread was very good. Just too much of it. Overall, it was just another meatball sub. Nothing outstanding about it.
