Five Guys is the pricier burger king and less pricy Fuddruckers (without the pickle bar). It's a burger-your-way environment that suited my son and me just fine. My son is a fan of traditional burgers, cheese, and ketchup. He likes his pickles on the side, and a little lettuce isn't horrible. I will make mine spicy and aromatic with grilled onions, jalapenos, etc. My chief complaint is the burgers come out quite smooshed, and the fries were a little overdone (for my taste). They say Five Guys is "The Wily Wonka of Burger Craft" and I usually agree! Most times you go to Five Guys and your whole experience is great! You're usually greeted by smiling and happy faces and delicious food however it wasn't so Willy Wonka like at the Bagley Road Five Guys. Now I wasn't expecting a man in a tall top hat to come out walking with a cane and fall down into a somersault or anything nor did I expect to see little orange Oompa Loompas making my delicious burger and fries. I did however expect to see at least one happy face which was nowhere insight. The review lost a star because of the service itself. The highlight of it other than being with my best friend and sister was the delicious food. I have a gluten allergy and I love that they offer their delicious burgers without the bun although those buns are so delicious and I hate missing out. They are great at packaging it in a separate bag and even put your condiments and toppings separately too. The burger was cooked perfectly it was delicious! A delicious, juicy patty that wasn't pink but cooked perfect! I don't like a burger that can moo at me. The fries which was enough to feed a village were delicious! Seriously you can get a large and feed a table of 5! I like that they give you cups for free for water instead of having to purchase a bottle of water. I am hoping the employees aren't normally this down or depressing but the employees need to smile and get some personality like other Five Guys. The other locations I've been to they are singing and dancing something like Willy Wonka however this location was more like darker parts of a Tim Burton movie. However the food was 5/5. read more

Tried FG for the first time Friday. Boy what have I been missing. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, lettuce, tomato, onion. No sauce or anything. This monster of a burger, "oh" and a large fry. HOLY cow did the fries fill the bag my goodness. Everything was fresh, love the store setup, love the food, it's very cool. Clean, respectable establishment, the BEST food out of any fast food anywhere. I'm excited to order a hot dog now because, FG is the best truly, worth my 20 min drive to get it. read more

Five Guys was a staple in college. The burgers could just be absolutely loaded up with ingredients, the fries would feed you for days. And the best part was, you could get an awesome burger for not a lot of money. However, somewhere along the way it became ok to just raise prices and think the public isn't going to get it? I can go to a restaurant and get a burger and fries to go for equal to or even less than what I'd pay at 5 guys now. It used to be $5 and change for a nice decent burger, now it's basically $7 plus $4 for fries, don't forget the drink. Before you know it you're at $13-$14 for just a fast casual dining experience. Do you know what I can get for $14? Two orders of Chipotle for myself and fiancé. Think about that! Best fast food burgers you can get! They always give you WAY fries more than you expect! I swear, if you order a "small" fries... they put a small cup in a bag... and then just dump fries into the bag... So you're really just telling them how big of a cup you want in your massive bag of fries :) Food takes longer than other fast food places, but they have the shelled peanuts and fancy soda machines to keep you busy for the extra 3 minutes... so no complaints there. read more

Solid 4 stars for this new, open since March, location just south of Cleveland Hopkins airport just off the interstate. This is one of the larger Five Guys locations I've seen, and it is standard FG burgers (read: very good). A cheeseburger all-the-way with medium fries and a drink will set you back $12.58. The burger is a hot mess. That's a good thing - hot and a mess, with all the toppings piled high and dripping off in wonderful cheesiness, challenging you to get them in your mouth before they fall! The burger itself is only mildly seasoned if at all. Ingredients, including the bun, are all first quality and very fresh. Five Guys fries are a mountain of potato goodness. Even the regular size fries will feed you and a friend, maybe more. Some not so good news - they're not my fave fries. They are fresh cut and tasty with some skin on, but they are a wide cut and somewhat limp compared to the competition. So they're good, but not great. The staff here is very friendly, efficient and the store is clean. I was approached three times during a recent visit to see how my food was and if I needed anything. Heck, I don't get that good of service at some full serve places. California's In N Out still makes a better no-nonsense burger (make mine double double animal style), and their fries are crispier and tastier, too, but unless you find yourself magically whisked from Cleveland to LA, Five Guys Burgers are about as good as it gets in these parts for fast food burgers. So, this is a new location. Happened to be in the neighborhood, so we dropped in for a late lunch. We opted to share a burger, and they nicely cut it in half for us. Ordered a cheeseburger, small fries, and a drink. The cheeseburger...I'm not sure if it's normally a double patty but that's what we got. Everything is cooked to order, so it's fresh as can be. Love that...I hate when something has been sitting in a warming oven for who knows how long. And I can tell! So, I'm sure food is the same at every Five Guys but I am not sure about the service. I thought it was outstanding. Super nice workers- they even offer to assist you or get you things after you've had a seat. What kind of fast food joint has such great service? Worse burger I have ever had. This is absolute gut rot and it's hard to be worse than McDonalds or Burger King, but this place has managed to make a burger worse than either one of these two fast food places. I stopped to pick up a sandwich and fries on my way home. I had to pay with cash. I was told by the cashier that they had no change even after he rattled some change around in his drawer. I was not going to pay $20.00 for a $7.00 tab. I went back out to my car and rooted around finding enough to pay my tab. the cashier had already put my $20.00 in the till and was ready to send me on my way. I made a stink and he called the manager. She came over and opened the cash register drawer, and handed me exact change from my $20.00 bill. I ask why did he say that he had no change for me but she could open the drawer and give me change from the very drawer that he couldn't find any change from. I was very disappointed in the reaction of management blaming me for paying in cash. How does this company survive? I will never go to any 5 Guys Burgers and Fries again. We have been to other locations and we can split a large fry and have plenty left over. Can't do that at this location. At my latest visit, I ordered three regular fries and they gave me three small fries. If I wanted my order to be screwed up I would have gone to McDonald's. Well decided it was about time I tried this concept of Five Guys, few weeks ago I tried MooYah--a sad disappointment. This menu is simple --burgers cheeseburgers single double triple, small medium large fries, drinks hotdogs etc. can't go wrong with that much simplicity. Ordered my dinner to go. It's within walking distance of my house so it's close --brought my food home and all was still hot. The french fries were advertised as 100% peanut oil and that is no lie. These are the best freaking french fries I've ever had -- 50 years ago i used to love McDonald's fries. The burger was cooked perfectly with a bun like the old fashion burgers that were used in olden days and they taste like something. The option of "all the way" gives you all the items with grilled onions not raw onions. I wanted the Mayo off and guess what? The mayo was not there, ahha!! try to get that at Burger King when I want it my way. It was $12 for a meal which is a little bit higher than the big Mac meal at McDonald's but was well worth the extra bucks. Everything was perfect --the french fries were all edible not over fried nor over salted . They even had diet Dr Pepper. Now their location isn't the greatest cause it's right on Bagley Road & Engle corner which is right off 71 and right where everybody wants to turn but if you can find your way in, You can find your way out very easily onto Engle Road. Five Guys is always my go to when I want something quick for lunch or dinner, but I don't want crappy fast food. It's fast for how fresh they cook it, always nice and juicy burgers and the fries are always good. The hot dogs, all though I usually don't get them, are also very good. And now they have milkshakes!
