I walked in Lil' Chet's to witness a young man vacuuming the floor, a very kind, patient and broad smiling young lady named Grace who wore the business brand well and then a taller, young man at the cash register and three other younger associates all busy at their post. I always thank people who are working these days but I'll go as far to say these associates were raised right. Bravo to whoever hired so many good workers. Now the Chicken. I walk To the back of the store and there it is.....a trove of fried chicken. I can't tell you how many people I know rave about this fried chicken. They say "it's the best around". I have driven past this place so many times, usually with somewhere to go. This time someone took the wheel and steered me straight in their lot. So I go in to see what all the fuss is about. Grace explained the difference of the chicken selection was. Just to sample, I opted for two thighs and one breast for beef and my wife with a side of sweet mustard. Got home to try it....Rats! I should have bought more.... The chicken was done right. Crispy, not greasy. In fact, if I had to rush out of the house, I know I could turn the doorknob with out washing the grease off my fingers. Breasts were not dry, thighs were tender, better than average in size and the mustard dip had a familiar taste to it but just enough off to make me consider it wasn't store bought and repackaged. So NOW I GET IT! What all the fuss was about. I'll be back for sure.

The stand alone building is a bit drab on the outside, but inside you find a contemporary pizza shop, a service counter with the kitchen behind, including the cool round pizza oven on one side, on the other side is a small dining area with a few tables; but Dirty Pi is set up mainly for takeout. The menu is above the counter and you have to crane your neck to read it, but it runs you through the offerings. The young man there was friendly and helpful. With $30 to spend I ordered two pizzas, A Veg Head (no pineapple, add jalapenos) and a cheese pizza with spinach, garlic and vegie sausage. From order to pickup it only took 15 minutes, which I spent looking at the nearby thrift store; me pizzas were ready right on time. The drive back to Beachwood smelled great. At home I saw that I had 2 oblong pizzas, about 18" by 6"; thin crust with a very nice outside rised crust. The pizzas were well cooked, which is right to my taste. The star of the pizza is clearly the crust, nicely risen, perfectly cooked, crisp with some chew and just a hint of tang. The sauces were good, although I would have appreciated a bit more sauce on each pizza; of the 2 the pesto sauce had more flavor and impact. The cheese is good, although once again I could have enjoyed a bit more. The toppings were of excellent quality and very flavorful, I especially enjoyed the mushrooms, roasted garlic and vegie sausage. For me 4 slices (half of a pizza) made a satisfying meal. Dirty Pi makes an excellent pizza using high quality ingredients, perfectly cooked. The pizzas are more about great flavors rather then overabundance, emphasizing quality and over quantity. These pizzas are a modified Neapolitan pizza, great ingredients, high heat cooking and appreciating the natural flavors. I would strongly recommend giving them a try.

Location: The gas station is conveniently located down the street from Promenade Plaza and highways. It is spacious and easily maneuverable. There are multiple entrances, so it's easy to get in and out. This Speedway is impressively clean (inside and outside), well stocked, and organized. Service: Service is consistently friendly. The cashier tonight was very friendly with every single customer. It was very impressive especially at the end of the hot day. Fun Finds: This Speedway had Liquid IV packets at checkout (few left).
