I tired the Lake Erie Salt, a salted caramel and chocolate ice cream with cashews, but ended up with the chocolate raspberry truffle, which was delicious! I got the wildberry crumble (one of my favorite flavors) and autumn caramel apple, one of the seasonal flavors. Like always, the ice cream was super creamy, and the wildberry crumble was scrumptious - rich vanilla ice cream with a berry ribbon that tastes like actual berries and crumble bits. The autumn caramel apple was great as well. Sweet with cinnamon and caramel, and came with almond bits. I do wish the apple flavor was a bit stronger. Nonetheless, I licked my cup clean.

My boyfriend and I came here on a Tuesday afternoon and were able to find street parking easily. The decor of the shop is cute, and ordering at the kiosk was simple; they have a pretty extensive menu so, whatever type of drink you're looking for, they probably have it! We got the coconut matcha and a mango matcha milk, both of which came out pretty quickly. I was unfortunately a little disappointed with the color of the matcha when our drinks came out; it was a very pale green, and didn't taste like they used high quality matcha powder to make our drinks. My boyfriend was also disappointed by the coconut matcha, which didn't taste as good as he expected. I thought my mango matcha, on the other hand, was delicious! The mango flavor was strong and sweet, but not overly so, and I enjoyed my drink! Overall, we'd definitely come back, but probably try different drinks since it seems like this shop doesn't specialize in matcha.

When I first entered the shop, I was warmly greeted by a staff member, who offered me some samples before I ordered anything. Since I was visiting Cleveland in December, I decided to try some of their holiday flavors such as eggnog, caramel gingerbread, and peppermint stick. Every flavor I tried was amazing, especially their blue cosmo flavor. Blue cosmo is their trademark flavor, and I highly recommend that flavor to anyone who enjoys a lot of sweetness. I visited the shop several times during my time in Cleveland, and each visit was outstanding. No matter what flavor malt I got, each one turned out delicious. On the last visit before returning home, I decided to get a simple ice cream sundae with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. It turned out amazing. Another thing I like is the atmosphere. You can even go up the stairs and watch workers make ice cream while you enjoy your delicious sweet treat. I highly recommend Mitchell's Homemade Ice Cream to anyone who lives in the Cleveland area or plans to visit.

I was really looking forward to a refreshing glass of fresh orange juice during my visit to the…read morePulp Westgate location, but unfortunately, I left disappointed--and a little surprised. I expected the usual bright, smooth, and naturally sweet flavor of fresh orange juice. Instead, the juice I received was bitter, highly acidic, and frankly unpleasant. When I asked about it, I found out they don't use the proper machine that extracts juice from peeled oranges--instead, they simply cut up whole oranges and toss them (peel and all!) into the juicer. This might sound harmless, but there are several problems with this approach: * Orange peels are extremely bitter and not meant to be consumed in large quantities in juice form. * The peel contains essential oils like limonene, which can irritate the stomach and make the juice taste harsh. * Most citrus peels--especially on non-organic oranges--can carry wax, pesticides, and other residues, which are definitely not what I want in my juice. * The high fiber content from the peel can make the juice gritty or pulpy, especially if the juicer isn't designed to handle it. Honestly, this felt like a lazy shortcut, and it really affected the quality of the drink. If you're looking for clean, smooth, naturally sweet orange juice, be cautious when ordering here. You may want to ask how it's made before spending your money. I've had great experiences at other Pulp locations, but this one missed the mark--especially for something as basic as orange juice.
