A little expensive for the price ($7.25 for a double scoop), but delicious ice cream! To beat the summer heat, I got a scoop of key lime pie (one of the seasonal flavors) and black raspberry chip. Both flavors were excellent, and the texture was delightfully creamy. The key lime pie had a natural-tasting, tart lime flavor that complemented the sweet ice cream and came with plenty of graham crust bits. The black raspberry chip came with a bunch of chocolate chips, and it's easy to see why it's one of the chain's signature flavors. The location had a few tables if you want to dine in as you enjoy your ice cream. There is also a water station in the front of the shop. read more

Lovely spot. We love Graters and it is always on our Ohio rotation. We had not been to the location in Westlake but loved walking around to all the stores and getting our favorite ice cream! They had a ton of flavors and the staff was really helpful. Pro tip- they are known for their chip flavors. You can't go wrong! read more

Fun place to go while at Crocker Park. Many different tasty flavors and the ambiance is good. I have noticed lately, Some employees do not give appropriate sized scoops (very tiny) and you need to call them out that the golf ball sized scoop is too small for the price you're paying. Same with Mitchell's, I stopped going there because I don't accept a child sized golf ball scoop when paying for an adult scoop. Graeter's ice cream is A+ in taste. read more

4.5 stars. Graeter's Ice Cream was founded in 1870 in Cincinnati, and today it has stores in five states. The business uses French-pot freezers to craft their ice creams. I had previously enjoyed Graeter's ice cream in Pittsburgh, so when I saw this store in Crocker Park, I felt compelled to visit. As soon as my husband and I entered the store, an employee greeted us. He waited patiently while we decided what we wanted to order. The menu listed numerous flavors of ice creams that could be added to cones, dishes, sundaes, and milkshakes. The store also sold some coffee chillers, smoothies, ice-cream cakes, beverages, chocolates, candies, and greeting cards. Please see my photos for the menus in May 2024. My husband and I each ordered a cup with two scoops of ice creams. The employee quickly scooped our ice creams, processed our payment, and thanked us. The restaurant contained several clean tables with chairs at which we could sit. I liked my peanut-brittle ice cream and my s'mores ice cream, although I previously liked Graeter's fruity flavors more. My husband said that he liked his butter-pecan ice cream and mint-chip ice cream. read more

I had graters chocolate ice cream with hot fudge , marshmallow, pecan and whipped cream. The ice cream was good. The whipped cream was very thick and very sweet. I scooped all of off the Sunday. The place was clean. That's always a plus. Will be coming back for more. read more

We visited this evening and it was packed upon walking in. We don't visit often. We sampled a few flavors and picked. The gentleman making our cones gave us the tiniest single scoop I have ever seen in my life. The girl that made my daughter's made it at least 2-3 times bigger. 3 out of the 4 of our single scoops were so small so paying $5 each seems really expensive. Mitchell's is at least twice as big for less money. read more

Super clean and friendly service. They let you try as many flavors as you'd like! I had the salted caramel ice cream -- super creamy!!

I love Graeters! I know Mitchell's is the best known ice cream in Cleveland but Graeters is definitely a close second. It does not have as many options, but what they do have is awesome!! What we love to do when at Crocker Park is get vanilla ice cream at Greater's and then get espresso next door at Starbucks and make our own affogatto. Yum! read more

Crocker Park needed a good dessert spot and Graeter's is the perfect fit. A nice, large ice cream shop with plenty of seating and delicious ice cream. My mom and I stopped in after lunch and were greeted by a friendly employee. She immediately offered samples and flavor recommendations. The number of flavors offered can almost be overwhelming. In addition to the long list of regular flavors they also have seasonal flavors that change monthly. All of the ice cream is creamy and delicious. The peach ice cream was a refreshing flavor for summer. Toffee Chocolate Chip was very good. The toffee was my favorite part. read more

Graeter's Ice Cream - Limited Edition Flavor List - Desserts Near Me - Westlake, Ohio

Oddly enough, I've been eating Graeter's ice cream for a while (both in neighborhood stores and from the grocery store) but never actually ate in a store in Ohio till now. What I experienced here was the same great textures, spacious stores, friendly service, fresh flavors, and amazing aromas that I've come to love Graeter's for. Each and every flavor is unique, with a clear theme -- and is rich but not too sweet. Even better is the very reasonable price charged for the ice cream, given the superb quality and care that goes into making every 2.5 gallon batch using superior ingredients. Graeter's is one of my favorite brands of ice cream. Consistently excellent and deliciously addictive. I've never tried a flavor that I didn't like and I hope to experience this perfect streak forever. read more

There's a garage somewhere nearby but I ended up parking at one of the meters in front of the ice cream parlor. I can see how on a summer's day this is a great spot to stop in for ice cream and then walk around and people watch. My friend and I were given the choice of sampling flavors before deciding. As it was St. Patrick's Day, she went with the special of the day (maybe it was the cookies and cream mint?) and the coconut chocolate chip. The gentleman who took the order asked if she had a preference as to which flavor went in the dish first. That was A+ service! I had the salted caramel chocolate chip. Delicious! read more

5 stars for the best ice cream known to man!! Easiest review I've ever had to write! But for real, if you haven't had Graeter's, you need to get here ASAP. I grew up in Cleveland and at the time, there was not a Graeter's there. (I believe this location has only been there for ~3 years). But luckily for me, a big chunk of my family lived in Cincy and my dad lived in Columbus so I was raised with this delicious, perfectly creamy ice cream known for their massive chocolate chunks! I was super pumped to see this location in Crocker open a few years back. Now everyone in CLE can enjoy this delectable treat! My sister recently moved across the street from Crocker, so when I come up to visit (I currently reside in Columbus), we head to Crocker quite a bit. Of course that means one (sometimes two!) stops at Graeter's! Last weekend, I made my whole family come here after dinner at Yard House. My stepdad got a shake and he said that if Graeter's were closer to Fairview Park, he'd get one of those shakes every night! Yes Graeter's is simply that good and is worth coming out of your way for...even if you are on the east side of CLE! It's hard to choose my favorite Graeter's flavors, but the one you should definitely try is the Black Raspberry Chip (probably their #1 flavor). I also love the Double Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Buckeye Blitz, and Peanut Butter Chip. Graeter's is all about quality and I can't speak enough about how much I love it. I have been making 1-2 stops a week during the summer and I don't plan to stop any time soon! Looking forward to heading back to this location on my next trip to CLE! read more

This ice cream was okay. That's pretty much the only thing I could call it. That's not to say that it's bad but I was weirdly disappointed? For some reason I expected more. This was my first foray into Graeter's. The inside of this place is huge and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I tried a few of the flavors and decided on a single scoop of the Black Cherry Chocolate Chip in a cup. Here's the thing, the ice cream is fine. But I can't help but compare it to Mitchell's and I don't like it as much as much. It's not as rich and creamy as Mitchell's. It just seemed to be missing something. The price is comparable to Mitchell's, not too bad. However, they have less choices than Mitchell's I believe and the flavors aren't unique. They had two seasonal flavors but they came across as generic. Apart from ice cream you can buy chocolate there as well as jelly beans by the pound. Why? No idea but I fell into the jelly bean trap. Overall, it's not a bad place but it's nothing to write home about. If you want ice cream and you're wondering through Crocker Place, stop by. read more

My 17 year old and hercousin was leaving work and her phone died. they went into Graters noticed they had a phone charger and was asked to leave after 3/5 minutes if she was not placing an order. She couldn't place order without her phone and needed to use her cash app. She is a host at a local restaurant so understands and very mature for her age. When I called to inquire why they were asked to leave I was advised they took to long to order , they were takin up space in restira during a busy time l, and they also are not allowed in ice cream parlor under 25 years of age. Interesting and we will never patronize this establish again! read more

I agree with several other reviewers that the ice cream is average. It's ice cream so thus I can't give it anything less than three stars, just like it's very hard to mess up pizza, it's very hard to mess up ice cream. Some things just have an essence of being default good. But it was nothing special and I don't get the hype around, there are many local ice cream shops that are better, like Mitchell's. And Mitchell's has a lot more vegan ice cream flavors -- Graeter's could use a bit more to be considerate to all of the non-dairy and vegan ice cream fans that are out of there who want to grab ice cream with family or friends. Mitchell's also has more flavors overall, more seasonal flavors, and more creative flavors. Graeter's just really has the basics. Additionally, they don't make their mint chocolate chip green, it is white. Public service announcement as in this divided nation, the one thing that I know we can all rally behind is that mint chocolate chip ice cream needs to be green. On the plus side, they had thicker chunks of chocolate in their ice cream, instead of less desirable chocolate shavings. read more

Yummy ice cream! The good thing is that you can try small portion at the store and buy a bigger size at your neighborhood grocery store. Let's get to the point why you are here?! Graeter's ice cream is fine quality ice cream. I love the simplicity of just a scoop of great ice cream compared to something dramatic and anticlimactic that you get at some places. I always go for the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip, its filled with chocolate ribbons that add a sweetness to the sweet tartness of the black raspberry flavor. I can only get Graeter's in the grocery freezer section where I live but love coming to Ohio to get it served to me. read more

My first and only banana split in my life was from a Graeter's in Columbus. I had it when I was around 12 years old. Since then, Graeter's has had a special place in my heart and has been one of my favorite ice cream places of all time. I was very happy to find out that Graeter's was opening a location in the northeast Ohio area. Unfortunately, as it's located at Crocker Park, and I live in University Heights, I did not have an opportunity to visit this place until very recently. The flavors are as good as ever. The person working the register was very nice and allowed me to sample a variety of flavors. I tried the Buckeye, salted caramel, and strawberry cheesecake flavors. They were all good, but I ultimately opted for the salted caramel chocolate chip flavor. The salted caramel was very sweet, and the chocolate chips complemented the ice cream well. I got the ice cream in a pretzel cone, though in hindsight I think I would have preferred getting it in a cup. I hope that Graeter's opens up more locations in Cleveland in the future. It's very nostalgic for me, and while it's not the best ice cream I've ever had, it's solid all around. read more

It's just your averagely good ice cream shop. They specialize in having ice cream flavors with chocolate chips mixed in. Also pretty bitter about the size of my "single" scoop on a sugar cone. Everyone in my family ordered singles on/in sugar cones, waffle cones or a bowl. All of their singles were noticeably larger. I did like the cute touch of having ice cream scoop handles on the doors. Other than that it was just another ice cream shop. read more

I just came back to the area after being gone for several years. Greeters was top of the list to visit. One evening after a long day of unpacking we went for it. Both of us liking coconut chocolate chunk, we were so excited. If we hadn't known we were at the right place we would have thought it was a different business. The ingredients was cut back on. Barely any coconut and a few pieces of chocolate. We did a second trial two weeks later to be disappointed again. Increase prices, which they had, but maintain quality. No more trials. I work hard for my treats. They should be special and so should yours. Move on read more

New ice cream place opened yesterday in Crocker park in the newer section next to lululemon. They have a great variety of selections including sundaes. Ice cream cakes are available. The store has other condiments. They also sell papyrus greeting card. Coming to the ice cream they are priced from $4.50 to $7.00. My son who doesn't like ice creams loved their cotton candy flavor. The double chocolate chip was delicious decadent and creamy with big chunks of chocolate. The turtle sundae was delicious. The calories are by the side of the price which is a sin when you are in an ice cream place. Lovely addition worth visiting on a hot summer evening and take a walk or stroll through Crocker part if you feel guilty. read more

Sorry Mitchell's, I'm a Graeter's girl now. I know that's probably a sin to say in these parts, but I've been there twice in the last few weeks and can't wait to go back again. I've tried orange and cream, vanilla bean, chocolate, and their famous black raspberry chocolate chunk. The orange and cream was my two year son and my favorite...straight up orange creamsicle from childhood vibes. My car obsessed little guy particularly likes sitting at the high top bar facing the street, so he can point out every car. A couple other things I noticed: price is similar to Mitchell's. You can take pints home, along with candies and gifts. They have a free rewards program. They are happy to hand out samples. And there always seems to be a ton of people working, all very friendly. read more

I ordered ice cream and when a child in my party was eating theirs, there was a fake nail in the ice cream. I took the nail and the ice cream up to the counter, in front of the manger, to tell him and the staff what happened and they rescooped my ice cream. The manager hardly said anything to me or took any responsibility. I'm just SO thankful the child didn't choke. I will not be going back based on the hygiene standards and the response from the manger. If staff are scooping ice cream they should be wearing gloves or not be allowed to have fake nails on their hands. read more

I was fortunate to spend four years down in southern Ohio at Miami University (love and honor!) and southern Ohioans are serious about their Graeters ice cream. I think the ice cream was good. Not amazing and not horrible, very up to par. It was nothing too crazy, although homemade makes it attractive, I'd have to say I wanted Mitchell's more after having a scoop of their ice cream. I tried a few flavors and was disappointed, just didn't have that creamy, homemade feel. It's still ice cream so definitely tasty regardless, but would go for somewhere else if there's another option. read more
