We made our visit today (Mar., 2026), on a Sunday afternoon. The decor, both outside and inside, is much improved. Visitors will absolutely love the outdoor seating. I was super disappointed to learn that they have no gluten-free bread or pizzas. But I'm forging ahead. We both ordered small plates. I ordered the Sausage & Grits. This is a delicious, beautiful concept. I did think the grits were slightly watery, and could have used more salt, but, Yes, I would order this again. Hubby ordered the Pork Belly. Having tasted this, I highly recommend it. And hubby ate every bite, people. Even though I could eat most of their menu today, I would put this among the top of the list for restaurants in Franklin. Culture 828 we are so excited that you are open! What an amazing job the owners have done. The restaurant has a dining and bar area. If you come between 3-5pm they have small plates and cocktails in the bar area. Dining starts at 5pm. The service from everyone was warm and friendly. Our server Elia was wonderful. Whoever created the Smoked Rosemary and OO martini you are amazing! They have a great selection of cocktails, beer, and wine to choose from. For dinner we stared with the oysters as our appetizer (shucked perfectly) & they were very good. As my entree I went with the tomato soup and Ceasar salad. Both were fantastic. The Ceasar is not a traditional Ceasar and had banana peppers in it and I am here for it! My husband had the Bestia pizza and didn't leave a crumb behind. We loved everything about our dining experience & can't wait to come back. So excited to add this to our Franklin staples. read more

Visiting Franklin we were recommended to try new spot on Main St - wow what a delight! This was a cool diner for many years but the transformation to a "cultured" upscale dining spot is amazing! We ordered from small plates menu: crispy St. Louis ribs & cannelini soup- ribs had mustard glaze & were fantastic, as was the soup. We shared a wood fire pizza (Fiorentina) & it was also delicious. LOVE this place. As a Buffaloan I was suspect when I saw Beef on Weck on thei menu. With high hopes & low expectations - What a beautiful surprise!!!!!!! So I've waited until I've been multiple times to review. I've been here 3 times now, and I love it! Atmosphere is great for almost anything, service is always top quality, and food is fantastic. I've heard people complain about the prices but I would say for the quality of food that the prices are very reasonable. I love what this place brings to the town of Franklin. If you are in Franklin you should have at least one meal at Culture. We ate outside on a perfect weather night and it was a great choice. My family got pizzas and a burger and they were all superb. Our server was attentive and we never had our water glasses get below 1/3 full. Pizza was in the top 10 I have had. You won't be disappointed! read more

Kitchen closes at 9. Bar is open until 10. Unfortunately walked in at 9:05 and didn't get to try the food. Bar service was nice though.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal there last night. Tammy provided wonderful service throughout our meal. We started with bread service and the amazing honey mustard butter, an order of oysters, and one of the best charcuterie plates around. I ordered the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin special and the flavor combination of everything on that meal was exquisite. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back! read more

My wife and I have been to Culture 3 times for dinner, twice in April and again last night. The food is amazing, very good! The chicken wings are special; we've had them each time, and we highly recommend them. The cheese pizza is outstanding as is the bread service. We were lucky enough to try the ribs in April, but that was a special for a brief time; delicious! Also had the garden salad, very good. We sat outside the first time, in the main dining room the second, and in the lounge/bar area yesterday, and all very comfortable. The service is puzzling, however.You have to ask for extra napkins, and when you do, you get a confused look. The first time, a young waiter told us they don't have any, and brought us those towelettes. The next time, the waiter was more experienced, and brought us paper towels, but last night, we just got more cloth napkins. Why would you want extra napkins when you're eating chicken wings and pizza, right? Also we got one set of small plates to eat 3 separate dishes; had to ask for fresh plates. Also had to ask to refill my ice tea. And I never saw a pizza served without a spatula. But having said all that, we highly recommend dining here, just need to train their staff better and figure out the mystery of customers wanting extra napkins. read more

Food was good but they forgot toppings on a 20+ dollar specialty pizza. Asked for the topping then they forgot again. Then was told by staff that the chef verbatim told the food runner to bring out the pizza without the crema it comes with when runner noticed it in the window and made a comment. Such a nice restaurant it's my second time going since they opened. Everything has been amazing I've tried the pizza, steak, pasta,wings, and desserts and everything has been wonderful. Service is fast I've gone with a reservation and without one and they are quick to get you seated and friendly servers. The vibe of the restaurant is great while it's an open concept it still feels very intimate. If you're a local or just passing through I highly recommend if you're looking for a good place to eat that's unique. This restaurant is a great contribution to Franklin North Carolina! read more
