The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful, and the outdoor games like putt-putt make it a fun place to spend a few hours. They usually have live music on the stage (though not on the Tuesday we visited), which adds to the experience. The food was excellent. The tomato basil soup was incredibly flavorful, and the Caesar salad paired perfectly with it. My friends ordered pizzas that looked just as delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The cocktails were also outstanding--well-crafted, balanced, and some of the best we've had in the area. Whether you're looking for a relaxing meal, drinks with friends, or a fun outing with family, Happ's Place is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!

For example, I love the meatball over polenta appetizer but there is such a small amount of polenta. And for the price, it would be nice to be have a little more pasta served with the entrees. I've never gotten a doggie bag here because the portions are small and after spending over $100 for 2, it would be nice to have a little bit of leftovers. That said, food is delicious and obviously all homemade. Cocktail selection is very unique, hip and good. Service is excellent and the servers really know their stuff! Service

We also tried the mussels, mushroom fettuccine and a rabbit dish that I'm totally forgetting the name of. The rabbit dish was amazing but it had too much salt. The mushroom fettuccine on the other hand was lacking something, it didn't have that umami flavor to it. However, both were really good selections and you could tell that the pasta was handmade. As for the mussels they were good, but I probably wouldn't order them again. Our server was wonderful and the inside of Ilda is super cute! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends, but I think you need to make a reservation in advance. Also - give yourself some time to find parking ahead of time - they don't have a designated lot.

My wife ordered a chicken sandwich, "No onions", got onions, but didn't want to bother them. We got the check, she asked me if I had 2 margaritas? I laughed and said '"No, why?" They charged me $24.00 for my $14.00 house margarita and claimed I ordered their "Casa Amigos Mezcal" which I did not. They refused to adjust the bill. We refused to tip our dishonest waitress. We got this kind of crap when we lived in Park City, Utah, with the restaurants presuming we were tourists only in town for a few days so they could "cave your head in " on the tab. Shady, so shady. My wife and I have been coming here for decades, sadly, first time, last time at a restaurant this shady.

An image is featured on instagram and looks delicious. It came out without Brie on it. I questioned the waiter who was fairly new. He argued with me that "this is how it is made". I showed him the photo. He went back to the cook who told him the Brie melted...on a salad? We ate the "Brie-less" salad anyway but informed the waiter we were not pleased with our experience. A few minutes later, he brought us a photo he had just taken of a berry Brie salad that...imagine that...it had Brie on it. He was very apologetic and comp'ed us 50% off the salad. Fortunately the waiter did the right thing, in spite of his boss.

Description was pecan-crusted chicken breast topped with lemon garlic butter. Chicken was breaded, flattened cutlet tasting of lemon. The cutlet was so flat it was hard to see/taste chicken breast and I couldn't tell if it was pecan crusted or just breaded like in a fast food restaurant. I ordered a side of spaghetti with lemon butter sauce. The spaghetti itself was fresh and tasty, wonderful on its own - should've ordered it without sauce. The pasta sat in a pool of lemon butter sauce that overwhelmed the spaghetti. The prices didn't deter me, I'm used to spending that much and more on a good meal. But that's the problem-for me, this wasn't a good meal. My husband had the lasagna and enjoyed it so maybe it was this one particular dish.
