Our shuttle driver Josh, from Sherpa Shuttles, put us onto this place last year, and we liked it enough to come straight back this year without a second thought. We ordered the Sasquatch pizza both times, no debate needed, it's just that good. Consistently excellent, exactly what we remembered from the first visit. The place has a cozy, local hangout feel to it, the kind of spot that makes you want to settle in, and they've got live music out back which adds a nice bit of energy without overwhelming the conversation at your table. Staff here are genuinely friendly, and we ended up talking with two different people, our server and one of the bartenders, who both turned out to be from Jacksonville, same as us. Small world moments like that make a place feel less like a stop on the road and more like somewhere you belong for an evening. Great value for what you get, too. We arrived around 6:30PM on a Sunday in July. It's in a small strip mall so parking can be tight. We saw people parking in the Sherwin Williams lot next door. They were pretty busy but there were a couple tables open. It's a small restaurant so you might have to wait. The waitress came almost immediately and took our drink order. Once she brought the drinks back, we ordered dinner. My husband ordered the Cheese Manicotti, our friend ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, and I ordered the 2 Meatball appetizer and a small salad. The food arrived within 10 minutes. The serving sizes are very generous, and all the food was tasty. My only comment would be that the marinara sauce is on the sweet side, and I prefer mine more savory. It didn't stop me from eating it though! read more

GREAT PIZZA! This was our first visit but it won't be our last! Franklin has needed a good pizza restaurant for a while and this fills the bill. We picked up a to-go order of Jimmy Pesto pizza and salad. Everyone behind the counter was very nice and seemed to really care about us. The crust was very tasty and the pizza overall was amazing! We also got a large Garden Salad, also very good. They also have a nice dinning room with wine and beer which we will try the next time. I would definitely recommend! read more

Very disappointing. I love eating here and was in the mood for chicken Parmesan. Have not tried it here and I don't need to worry about trying it again. In the hour and 15 minutes that it took to get my meal and eat it I watched multiple patrons Sit down order get served, finish their meal pay and leave. The chicken did not seem to be freshly prepared, breading was very thick and did not stick to the chicken. My spaghetti noodles were crunchy. the tab of $28 with tip seemed to be just a little steep especially given portion size. My server was phenomenal did what she could to take great care of me and I appreciate that. If I go back, which is unlikely, I will stick to pizza, which is usually quite good. read more

Yesterday was the first time tying FPT and certainly won't be the last.. grew up on Long Island and spent the last 20 plus out in California.. good pizza has been very hard to find for the past 2 decades.. last night I couldn't have been happier.. took it to go but the restaurant was packed.. good sign.. and there were over half a dozen boxes on the oven waiting for pickup.. good sign.. fresh ingredients.. loaded toppings.. and a nice thin slice with perfect crust.. super friendly and helpful staff.. I was greeted by at least 5 employees in the two minutes I waited and paid for my pickup.. do yourself a favor and pay them a visit next time you are craving pizza.. they by far exceeded my expectations.. great job FPT.. thank you for being so kick ass.. read more

We spent almost $70 last night on 2 pizzas. cheese sticks, and wings. The pizza seemed like it had no sauce, the breading on the cheese sticks was hard and the cheese wasn't even melted or cooked through. The wings had a nasty skin on them and the chicken was tough. Super fun pizza place! Huge pies and local beers on tap. The dining area is a really fun atmosphere too. I have not had their take out only ever eaten in. Pretty much the only place for pizza now for me. The staff are super nice and I usually have my pizza within about 15 minutes of arriving. Love it! read more

We have stopped here twice after a hike and it was the perfect post hike spot! The beer is great especially the lazy hiker. The pizza is delicious, crispy, and totally hit the spot. We got a Fire Tower and Sasquatch and both are delicious. The cheese bread with bacon is the bomb and highly recommended. The owner just took over this place and is working her tail off to make it work. It's basically a family run business. I love that she is a fellow plant lady and has a very eclectic decor for the area. I highly recommend you give them a try. read more

There was a slight mixup with our order today but the owner Amy made everything fantastic. She was so kind and generous and upgraded our pizza to a larger size and totally comped our pie. Like most folks, I am a big fan of pizza. The pizza here stands out in relation to others in that; 1. The crust is made from scratch and is amazing, 2. The toppings are fresh and plentiful, and 3. Speedys in Sylva closed so we have looked for a pizza place that would be as good. We tried others but they all just were not as good.We found it here. Pizza was as good or better. This has become my favorite pizza and sandwich place. The deluxe sandwich, lightly toasted is the best that I have had since moving to Franklin. The service is very friendly and fun. Great pizza and the "small" would feed 3-4 unless they were gluttons. I got the veggie one and really enjoyed the amount of veggies on the pizza. The sauce was not too much more too little. Servers were friendly, attentive but not overlords. Took home enough for several meals. read more
