He even bought a bowl for my seafood shells

Would recommend. Smaller, but very nice restaurant. All the staff was very nice and kept our drinks filled after a long hot day of hiking. We had calamari fried to perfection, not at all rubbery, as well as escargot, very good. All the entrees come with garlic knots and salad for the table. The server restocked the garlic knots without questions and they were fresh and a great addition to the meal. I did like them but the bottoms became a bit tough as they cooled. The salad is a bowl for the table, unlimited of course. It has dark leafy greens, bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, and three choices of dressing, serve yourself. The prices are on par for a nice Italian place. Some restaurants will give you a large, shallow plate that looks like a lot of food but is deceiving. That is NOT the case here, you get a lot of pasta and will not go hungry. Make sure to ask about the dessert tray, 10/10 recommend the rum cheese cake

    Prime Rib.

I love Lucios. Small town atmosphere...big city taste. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. I had prime rib with fettuccine, wife had chicken Alfredo, daughter had chicken parm, and son had spaghetti with two huge meatballs. The fried mozzarella was awesome as an appetizer along with the killer rolls. The house salad is pretty basic but the desserts were amazing. They bring you out a little tray with a live sampling of every dessert on the menu. I love that place. They also have really good veal.

We went there a few weeks ago & it was just okay. Met the chef/owner Lucio. Glad it's so popular. I will give it another chance.

We've been searching…read morefor an Italian restaurant that really reminded us of the quality and flavor we were used to back home, and that we too cook at home. We finally found it at Ristorante DellaSantina and I can't believe we hadn't heard of this place before! My husband ordered the Filet Special, which came with two 4 oz. filets, shrimp, and a choice of pasta. He chose the capellini with their Valentino sauce, and everything was fantastic. The filets were perfectly tender and seasoned beautifully (enough seasoning to enhance the flavor of the meat without overpowering it). The shrimp and pasta were excellent as well. He also tried the Pecan Old Fashioned, which was definitely on the sweeter side but still very good. It was gentle enough for me to enjoy, although probably a little too bite-free for my husband, who prefers his drinks with a little more punch. He also ordered a blue cheese dirty martini and was thrilled that it was made with real blue cheese. He absolutely loved it. He finished with the salted caramel cappuccino, which was fantastic. I had the lasagna, and it was delicious. The sauce very clearly tasted homemade, and that made all the difference. We each chose the Caesar salad that came with our meals, and it was actually a really pleasant surprise as it was incredibly flavorful and much better than the typical obligatory side salad you get at a restaurant. I also had an espresso martini, and it was perfect. We started with the bruschetta, which was good, but then came a really nice surprise: warm focaccia bread provided complimentary. That focaccia was wonderful and such a thoughtful touch. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu. It was very good, although I personally would have liked a stronger espresso flavor. We also ordered cannolis to take home, so we'll get to enjoy those later! Honestly, I don't have anything bad to say about this restaurant. From the food to the drinks to the little touches, everything felt thoughtful and genuinely well done. Our server Lexus was wonderful. We will absolutely be back. I'm just kicking myself that it took us this long to discover Ristorante DellaSantina. If you're looking for truly good Italian food in East Tennessee, this place deserves your attention!

Four of us grabbed spots at the bar, ordered Aperol Spritzes, and immediately settled in. We shared the salad and the veggie pizza, and on our waitress's advice added pepperoni--and wow, was that the right move. This pizza is the real deal: incredible color, a perfectly crisp, crunchy crust, and layers of flavor that genuinely blew us away. I make pizza at home (yes, with an Ooni), and this is the kind of pie that makes you pause mid‑bite and say, "Okay... they know what they're doing." Not floppy, not overdone--just expertly made and insanely satisfying. The atmosphere sealed the deal. Sitting at the bar felt fun and communal, with friendly locals, fellow visitors, and staff all contributing to the vibe. It was welcoming, lively, and exactly the energy you want when you first roll into town. Phenomenal pizza, great drinks, and a spot that understands hospitality. We'd come back for the pizza alone--but everything else made it even better.

Apparently we were very unlucky when it came to bar seating this trip We ordered the burrata to start. It was fresh and absolutely delicious. But our Hot Pig pizza seemed to miss the mark. The sauce that was drizzled on top didn't seem to add anything to the dish. It just kind of fell flat after such a delicious start. We finished off with a bit of gelato which was also super yummy! And the coffee was wonderful but it was served so hot that we had to wait a while before even being able to sip it. Overall it was a good dinner, we just wished we had gone with a different pizza
