Veal scallopini and side of spinach.

The food was delicious Our server was excellent and lively fun atmosphere. Enjoyed a drink "New Fashion" at bar before being seated for nephews "40th" Birthday celebration. I had red snapper and my husband had veal with side of pasta. It was a perfect evening shared with family visiting in town.

Attentive staff, a delicious seasonal cocktail menu, and a sophisticated atmosphere. This restaurant is the most elevated restaurant in Saphire. We ordered the arugula avocado salad and the Caesar salad as appetizers and they were balanced with decadent dressings. The chicken parmigiana was the favorite entree we ordered. For dessert, the Tiramisu and the Ricotta Pistachio Cheesecake are a must!

Had the most amazing g meal this evening. The owner Joe Nuzzi makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in to the time you leave and every moment in between. For dinner we went crazy. Half portion of rigatoni Osteria, Elana Deutch had the chicken Franchise, Cheri Stern Deutch had the Chilean Sea Bass. Just a side note, I don't really like Chilean Sea Bass but the preparation this evening was amazing and delicious. I had the 22 oz Prime Bone-In Ribeye. OMG. So tender it could be cut with a fork. The preparation was simple but succulent. Please, when in Asheville, Hendersonville , or points in between. This is a must go. Not inexpensive but not overpriced for the quality and portions. Oh yeah. Didn't take pics of the apps but we had Escargot, prosciutto and melon and Caprase. Soooo yummy Ciao for now

    Scallops, pasta, and incredible sauce

I had the pasta special with scallops and a Gorgonzola salad. The salad was fresh with so many ingredients and a creamy dressing. I am not a big scallop fan, but I am now. They were so fresh and tender they would melt in your mouth. The pasta was home made and the tomato based Italian sauce was the best I have ever had. The food came out in just the right amount of time. The service was excellent, a real Italian waiter, and Joe Nuzzi the owner, made sure everything was perfect.

Good food good ambience good service. We go at least once every time we're up here. Food is a bit pricey, but well worth it.

The restaurant is located on the main street that runs through the town making it easy to find. Be sure to make a reservation as it fills up quickly. The staff we encountered during both visits were friendly and professional. The food was exceptional each visit. The eggplant parmigiana starter was tender and so flavorful. Three of the four of us ordered it on the second visit as it was that good. The beef carpaccio and meatball starter were also enjoyed. For entrees we had the trout Frances, stuffed halibut special, the gnocchi special, the mushroom tortellini and the linguine pescatore. All dishes were delcious while the trout Frances, mushroom tortellini and linguine pescatore were our favorites. It is worth mentioning their gnocchi could not have been better prepared as it was like a fluffy pillow as gnocchi should be. Had it been paired with the truffle sauce from the mushroom tortellini then it would have been perfection. For dessert, we sampled several ice creams, sorbets, the tiramisu and the Blueberry Coconut Layered cake. The raspberry sorbet and cappuccino Oreo gelato were the fan favorites for the dessert course. Ristorante Paoletti receives our highest recommendation as it is on point with offering a positive atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food.

The grouper was over fried and doused in butter. The pasta dishes had so much cheese- it was over powering- same for potatoes. Lasagna was good. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Four of us grabbed spots at the bar, ordered Aperol Spritzes, and immediately settled in. We shared the salad and the veggie pizza, and on our waitress's advice added pepperoni--and wow, was that the right move. This pizza is the real deal: incredible color, a perfectly crisp, crunchy crust, and layers of flavor that genuinely blew us away. I make pizza at home (yes, with an Ooni), and this is the kind of pie that makes you pause mid‑bite and say, "Okay... they know what they're doing." Not floppy, not overdone--just expertly made and insanely satisfying. The atmosphere sealed the deal. Sitting at the bar felt fun and communal, with friendly locals, fellow visitors, and staff all contributing to the vibe. It was welcoming, lively, and exactly the energy you want when you first roll into town. Phenomenal pizza, great drinks, and a spot that understands hospitality. We'd come back for the pizza alone--but everything else made it even better.

Apparently we were very unlucky when it came to bar seating this trip We ordered the burrata to start. It was fresh and absolutely delicious. But our Hot Pig pizza seemed to miss the mark. The sauce that was drizzled on top didn't seem to add anything to the dish. It just kind of fell flat after such a delicious start. We finished off with a bit of gelato which was also super yummy! And the coffee was wonderful but it was served so hot that we had to wait a while before even being able to sip it. Overall it was a good dinner, we just wished we had gone with a different pizza

For example, I love the meatball over polenta appetizer but there is such a small amount of polenta. And for the price, it would be nice to be have a little more pasta served with the entrees. I've never gotten a doggie bag here because the portions are small and after spending over $100 for 2, it would be nice to have a little bit of leftovers. That said, food is delicious and obviously all homemade. Cocktail selection is very unique, hip and good. Service is excellent and the servers really know their stuff! Service

We also tried the mussels, mushroom fettuccine and a rabbit dish that I'm totally forgetting the name of. The rabbit dish was amazing but it had too much salt. The mushroom fettuccine on the other hand was lacking something, it didn't have that umami flavor to it. However, both were really good selections and you could tell that the pasta was handmade. As for the mussels they were good, but I probably wouldn't order them again. Our server was wonderful and the inside of Ilda is super cute! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends, but I think you need to make a reservation in advance. Also - give yourself some time to find parking ahead of time - they don't have a designated lot.

At the time of writing this, it was 3.8 stars, which usually indicates a mediocre restaurant at best. That could not be further from the truth! As a person who is of Neapolitan heritage, this made me feel like I was back at Grandma's. I have eaten at Italian restaurants ranging from South Philly, to New York, to Jersey, and all across the East Coast, and this is amongst the best! Don't listen to these other reviews who are either from 3+ years ago, or obviously have zero knowledge on true Italian cuisine! The gentleman who we had the pleasure to have as our waiter was outstanding. He had the perfect amount of professionalism, and comedic banter to make us feel like we were right at home. On top of that, our drinks were always filled, and the delivery of our food was perfectly timed, never feeling rushed to order or finish our appetizers. Switching to our food, we ordered the Fried Calamari, Mushrooms, and Zucchini, each one perfectly fried, and tasted delicious. The addition of salad and rolls could not have been better for the dinner. They have 3 dressings, all made in-house, which are given to you in a self-serving dish. All were spot-on! For the entree, I got the Fettuccine Della Casa, and it was terrific! All the flavors worked perfectly. The chicken was nice and tender, the vegetables were soft, but not mushy, the pasta was a perfect al dente, and the sauce thoroughly combined it all. We walked out with zero complaints, besides the fact that the restaurant is 3+ hours from our house. If you're from out of town(like us) or a local, you need to eat here! I don't ever leave reviews, but I made an exception because of my frustration with the current reviews left on this page, and the fact that in reality it is a top-tier establishment. This will be a guaranteed stop from now on, for anytime we're back in Franklin!
