Food was good staff overall attentive. We went there on a Friday night. There was about a 30 minute wait but we were seated at the bar. The bar was a little cramped and it was raining outside and I actually had a vent above me that dripped on me about every two minutes. Other than that the pizza we had was some of the best I've ever had and the pasta appetizer was amazing overall great experience.

This was our first stop in town for lunch, and it was exactly the kind of fuel you hope for when kicking off a weekend. Four of us grabbed spots at the bar, ordered Aperol Spritzes, and immediately settled in. We shared the salad and the veggie pizza, and on our waitress's advice added pepperoni--and wow, was that the right move. This pizza is the real deal: incredible color, a perfectly crisp, crunchy crust, and layers of flavor that genuinely blew us away. I make pizza at home (yes, with an Ooni), and this is the kind of pie that makes you pause mid‑bite and say, "Okay... they know what they're doing." Not floppy, not overdone--just expertly made and insanely satisfying. The atmosphere sealed the deal. Sitting at the bar felt fun and communal, with friendly locals, fellow visitors, and staff all contributing to the vibe. It was welcoming, lively, and exactly the energy you want when you first roll into town. Phenomenal pizza, great drinks, and a spot that understands hospitality. We'd come back for the pizza alone--but everything else made it even better.

After being on a waitlist and waiting 20 minutes and then watching a couple walk in without being on the waitlist (heard the convo and they were just walking in) that put a bad taste in my mouth to begin with, but boy am I glad I didn't leave mad. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting -- the kind of place that feels both relaxed and elevated at the same time. We ordered two pizzas and a salad, and every bite was absolutely phenomenal. The crust on the pizzas was perfection -- light, crisp, with just the right touch of char from the wood-fired oven. Each pizza had a flavor profile that was well-balanced, fresh, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the love and attention to detail in every slice. The salad was no afterthought either -- fresh, vibrant, and beautifully dressed. It was the perfect complement to the pizzas and a reminder that Four65 puts care into every part of the menu. The staff was friendly and attentive, and service was smooth without being rushed. Whether you're a pizza purist or love something a little more creative, this spot is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back -- and can't wait to try the Lemoncello Mule!

Such a quaint, cozy restaurant in the beautiful town of Highlands, NC. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday in December 2025. We had the bread plate with artisanal bread & olive oil, and the meatballs for starters. Delicious!! I had a salad and the hubbs had an Italian sandwich. So good!! The service was attentive without hovering. The decor was beautiful and vibe was chill. We will definitely be back!

Such a cozy spot in Highlands! The fire pit atmosphere was perfect, our beverages were great, and the meatball sub and gluten-free margarita & meatball-feta pizzas were delicious. Lisa took wonderful care of us!

Absolutely wonderful! We are here 2 years ago & had a delicious pizza but on this visit my husband & I shared as the portions are large. We love their salads, we had the Greek salad, a prosciutto sub & soup. All were fantastic, especially the soup. We followed with an amazing dessert strawberry shortcake. Wish I could remember our waitress as she was amazing. Very helpful in our choices & she makes the ginger beer, which I had the limoncello ginger beer cocktail which I highly recommend. We sat on the comfortable patio. A perfect lunch.

Located in downtown Highlands,NC, this bistro has the best woodfire pizza! We were out that way looking at waterfalls when we stumbled on this adorable town. This place is very nice inside. Honestly, I was a little worried there might be a dress code from the way it looked when we walked in. Glad I was wrong because not only was the pizza chef's kiss quality, but our server, Will, was amazing! Checked in often and made sure drinks were filled even when he was incredibly busy. We felt super comfortable as the place was incredibly relaxed.

The food at Foir75 Woodfire Bistro is great. The Root Vegetable Soup is always great. The pizzas are cooked in the woodfire grill right in front of you and are fantastic. The bartender Kennedy made fantastic Expresso Martinis and the Holiday Spiked Hot Chocolate. Very friendly staff and atmosphere.

Overall: A solid upscale pizza option for the area. The good: Fast, friendly and attentive service, even though we were seated outside. It was quite crowded and was an hour wait to eat inside, but luckily no wait for outside. Plenty of pizza options to choose from. The dough was chewy and the crust was charred and flaky, which is just what you want. The not-so-good: The pizza was good, but not great, and the price didn't reflect that expectation. Needed a little more sauce and toppings. Outside didn't have enough heat lamps, but luckily we had blankets thanks to our baby. Food/drink: 8/10 Atmosphere: 8.5/10 Service: 9/10

The live music was an awesome touch and made for a fun atmosphere. I was able to bring my pup since I sat outside, which was a huge plus. Just keep in mind that if you're dining on the patio, the service is more limited, you order and pay at the bar, and they'll bring your food out to you. Overall, this is a must-visit if you're in Highlands, North Carolina, especially if you're a fan of great burgers, good beer, and a laid-back atmosphere.

Ended up using the back of the booth for our water bottle and condiments and still struggled for space. Buffalo wings were good but not exactly Buffalo. No buttery spicy hot sauce. It was more peppery than buffalo. Wings were cooked perfectly though Reuben is excellent as are the jalapeno Mac bites. Cheese dip was also excellent but we (and the table next to us) had to ask for more chips. Not portioned terribly well. Beer options were very slim (2 on tap from what it gathered). I'm sure there were plenty of bottled options but draft was disappointing. We ordered the ale but they tapped out and brought us brown ale. At 5pm...only a brown and stout on tap. Overall, it was a pretty middling experience but the food was good and they offer a military appreciation discount.

Very Disappointed -- Would Never Go Back…read more We had eaten at Primary once while visiting the Highlands a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, that experience was disappointing from the beginning. The bartenders were rude and unhelpful, and the food and service were two stars at best. The one reason we decided to give Primary another chance was the Sunday night prime rib, which happens to be one of my favorite meals. I completely understand requiring a credit card to hold a reservation. I was a chef for 10 years, so I understand the business side of reservations and no-shows. Unfortunately, our French Bulldog became seriously ill around 3:30 AM Sunday morning, and we felt we needed to rush him to BluePearl in Atlanta. Because of the emergency, we obviously could not make our dinner reservation. I tried calling Primary, but no one answered. The recorded message instructed me to send a message through the OpenTable application, which I did. I explained exactly what had happened and asked if they would please refund the reservation charge given the circumstances. I also emailed the owner personally and explained the situation. His response was simply no because we did not show up. I reminded him that I had followed the restaurant's own instructions and contacted them through OpenTable as soon as I could. He still refused. What bothered me most wasn't the money. It was the complete lack of professionalism, customer service, and empathy. Emergencies happen. I would have expected a restaurant to understand that a sick family pet requiring emergency veterinary care is very different from simply deciding not to show up. After our first disappointing experience, we gave Primary another chance because of the prime rib. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled guaranteed that we will never return. If I could give the owner negative one star, I would. Don't waste your money or your time supporting a business that treats customers this way.

We also had bang bang shrimp app and a cup of French onion soup as a starter. Everything great and perfectly served. We had the Baignets for desert, which were amazing, served with Caramel sauce. Reminded me of New Orleans. Our server Emily was the best. We will be back next year for sure...

It's such a beautiful and peaceful space to dine, especially with the amazing Spring and Fall temps they get there. We were with a party of 6 (plus a baby), and walked up without a reservation a bit late in the evening. We figured we'd try it and see if we could get in if it wasn't too late, and luckily enough, the hostess was kind enough to make it happen for us! The menu actually has a lot of variety for a wine garden - drinks and food wise. I started with the French onion soup and it was delicious. The Caesar salad was also quite yummy, but the meatloaf was the showstopper of the night! I am still dreaming of it now, and wish I could replicate it myself because it was that good and memorable! For dessert, I ordered the affogato which is their house made vanilla bean ice cream with an espresso shot and it was the perfect ending to the night!
