Walked into a local sports bar in western North Carolina and felt like we'd walked into a Jacksonville bar back home. Our hostel host pointed us here, and the second we stepped in, we were greeted by Jaguars jerseys on the wall, Mark Brunell and Jimmy Smith. Then we got seated, and right above our table was Fred Taylor's Florida Gators jersey along with a picture of the Swamp. All three of us at the table were Jacksonville guys, so between the Jags gear and the Gators tie-in, it felt like home before we'd even ordered. We all got the wings, and they were excellent. This place oven roasts them first, then fries to crisp up the skin, no breading involved, and that combination does something special to the flavor. Best wings I've had in a while. One of my buddies also ordered a margarita and said it was excellent. Service was great throughout, and the price landed right in that sweet spot, not cheap, but not expensive for what we got either. Fair value across the board. If you're ever in Franklin and want a spot that feels like home even when you're hundreds of miles from it, this is the place. read more

7-11-26: If Sasquatch were to visit this place, he'd be proud. The vibe here is just so welcoming and chill I ordered the "Smashsquatch" Burger with fries and a Pepsi. My family also ordered fried mushrooms. This stuff took 16 minutes to come out. Taste-wise, everything tasted really amazing! My husband loves prime rib, so we've been trying to make Graff's friday prime rib night often. We were able to attend last friday, and I was in shock when we got our bill. The last time we went our tab for the two of us was around $70. This time the bill was over $100, for two people, and the quality of the prime was low to say the least. While visiting some friends they suggested Graff's Tavern and now I know why. The atmosphere was a casual sports bar with friendly staff. It wasn't too busy for a Wednesday afternoon so we got to sit anywhere we wanted. All of the menu options sounded really good but I opted for the fried jumbo shrimp with a side of their stingin honey garlic sauce and ranch. The shrimp were fried to perfection and the fries were crispy on the outside. Two people could have easily ate off of this one dish. I would have given 5 stars if the service had been kind of decent. I was visiting family in Franklin this weekend and we chose to try Graff's for the first time for lunch on Saturday. It was busy, but not swamped. We. A party of three, were greeted by the pleasant host who seated us immediately. We perused the menu, no server; I visited the restroom and came back, no server. I perused the menu again, no server. The host said our server would be out shortly. I thanked her. I could see the door to the kitchen/back and saw a server looking out...towards my table. After several seconds, she headed towards our table...in no hurry at all. She greeted us and took our drink order and started to leave. I asked if we could give our order since we had had plenty of time to look over the menu and knew what we would like. She took the order: an appetizer of cheese dip & chips, 3 "Big Money" burgers (came with fries). She returned with our drinks (all waters). After a little bit, I see her coming towards our table with burgers. We haven't gotten the appetizer (for which the literal definition is: a small portion of food or drink served before a main meal to stimulate the appetite). She and another server put the burgers down and says "your cheese dip will be right behind your burgers". Wait. What? My sister says that she doesn't want it now that we have our entrees and that the purpose of an appetizer is for it to be served before the entrees. Then the cheese dip and chips are being sat down while she is saying that. My sister is too nice and says just leave it. There was a half apology. Didn't feel sincere at all, but just something to say in order to flee the table. For the food: the burger was legit! It was cooked well, seasoned perfectly, juicy. The bun was toasted and the veggies on it fresh. The fries are my own personal problem. It's like those frozen, lightly battered fries. They came out hot and were great for about the first three minutes...then they get cold and a weird texture. But they, too were seasoned really well and cooked perfectly. I just don't prefer that type of French fry. I prefer just a plain, fresh cut fry. I had to ask for a refill on my drink. We asked for to-go containers for half a burger, and the appetizer. The server brought back one big open box....for half a burger, almost all of the chips from the appetizer, and almost all of the cheese dip. Yeah. We had to ask for a container for the cheese dip. I felt like a huge inconvenience at this point. I'd go back for the burger alone and try another side. I would definitely ask for another server if I ended up with the one from this weekend. We pulled up to Graff's to a lady in the parking lot yelling for someone to give her a cigarette. Strange, but true. If the place hadn't been recommended by locals we might have moved on. However, I'm glad we didn't. For a Tuesday around 6:00 the place was hopping. We got the last table and a menu and settled in to try and decide if this was a restaurant or a bar. It was a bit confusing because we kind of expected bar food, as in fried everything and a hamburger. But no, my daughter had roasted chicken that was so tender you could cut it with a fork. I had the grilled trout that was tasty. Mine came with loads of Brussels sprouts and hers had green beans. It's kind of a mishmash inside and our server got the table numbers wrong so our dinner visited a few other tables before it came to ours, but overall it was good and worth trying again. Great service, great food not your average sports bar. We went for the first time and the experience was excellent. The server was very attentive, filling drinks before we asked and food was very good with ample portions. I ordered chili, salad (huge), fried pickles and all were super bar food. We were in town for the weekend and stumbled across Graff's due to their Sasquatch branded burger buns. The tavern had a small town rustic feel and was very comfortable, we felt like we were somewhere we had been a 1,000 times before. Driving thru on Sunday after dropping son off at WCU track camp and found this little gem. We had the honey garlic shrimp app and it was awesome not frozen either. The food is great! The prices are reasonable except you if you want a side salad ($13)... But big negative - loud, obnoxious music through the speakers in the entire restaurant. I don't want to listen to AC/DC, Lenord Skinner, etc while I am eating and trying to have a conversation with friends. I asked to lower the music sound which they did than 10 minutes later, turned up the oboxious music. I left after finishing my chili (which was excellent); owner came to the table after I explained that I am leaving as I can't stand the loud music. Went for a late lunch on a Saturday. Our server Tina was sweet as can be and very knowledgeable of the restaurant and the Franklin area. I had the shrimp and grits and OMG were they good. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was on point. The seasoning was fabulous on those shrimp. My wife had the trout with mashed potatoes and crispy brussels sprouts.
