They have Hispanic music playing in the background, everything is clean, and the food comes out pretty quickly. We came with a group of 5 and only waited about 10 minutes, which was impressive. The food presentation is nice too, you can tell they put effort into it. I'll definitely keep coming back, especially for the shrimp ceviche. It's my favorite!

We had the banquet hall side and it was able to accommodate 200 guests. They had the place set up early and allowed the wedding party to come in advance to drop off drinks, decor, etc. They allowed us to bring food and alcohol. They also prepaid for drinks from the bar so folks could order from a bartender. Only a few dishes were ordered (since there was other food from an outside catering vendor) and I only got to try it after it was cold so I can't give a wholistic review on the food they serve, but I really liked the leaf wrapped beef with Banh Hoi (vermicelli sheet) and the mango salad! My one complaint is the women's bathroom. Two (out of 3) of the stalls can't lock so the girls had to help each other hold the doors closed. However, it was mostly clean and had toilet paper in stock. +They offer takeout containers for leftovers from the party. +Very kind and accommodating staff. They cleared some tables to create more space on the dance floor. +Parking is plentiful.

FANTASTIC PLACE FOR FOOD AND A PARTY!…read more I had the privilege of being invited to a party with some friends who had booked their event with Sea Queen Restaurant and I cannot deny that I was only impressed with the food, decor, staff, and the entire experience. If you are interested in booking your own event here, I recommend it. If you have no events coming up and just want some amazing food, still come here for that too! Amazing dishes are cooked and served here. It is mostly Vietnamese cuisine that you would find here, but hey... who doesn't enjoy this kind of cuisine? There is so much this restaurant has to offer. Not to mention there are weekly events; even a karaoke night. Lastly, if you enjoy sea snails, escargot, and don't want to drive out of the IE to the OC for some... just come here!

I'm really happy to see a seafood boil restaurant open nearby, and we stopped by to try it today…read more Overall, I'm not trying to leave a negative review--just sharing a few suggestions that I hope may help. First, the seafood was served extremely hot. Putting boiling-hot seafood directly into a plastic bag and immediately bringing it to the table made it difficult to eat, and it also raised some concerns about having food at such a high temperature in plastic. It may be better to let it rest for a minute or two before serving. This could also give the seafood more time to absorb the sauce and flavor. Second, the sauce felt very oily, but it didn't have enough of a rich, buttery flavor. The seasoning also seemed somewhat separated from the seafood instead of coating it well. Adjusting the oil-to-butter ratio and allowing the sauce to blend more thoroughly with the seafood could make it much more flavorful. I sincerely hope the restaurant will consider these suggestions. We're happy to have a new seafood boil option nearby and hope it continues to improve!

Our usual order is 1lb of shrimp and 1lb of mussels, and we've always been happy with it. This time, we decided to try the Combo #2 because we wanted to add crab legs. We ordered three combo bags, each with shrimp, mussels, and crab legs. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like there was anywhere close to 1lb each of shrimp and mussels in the bags. I can't prove it, so I can only share our experience, but it honestly felt like there were fewer than 15 shrimp in the bag. For the first time ever, we finished our meal and were still hungry afterward. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend ordering the combo bag. Not only did it seem like there was significantly less food, but with all the ingredients piled together, some items ended up overcooked. We were really disappointed because we've had consistently good experiences with multiple locations here over the years. Hopefully this was just an off day, but we'll be sticking with ordering the seafood separately next time.

Been living down the street for 10 years + finally craved a seafood boil and hit this place up…read more Super friendly host took our order to go and called us when it was time to pick up. Next time I'll have to eat inside. Looks like a nice cozy spot. Got the family bag with mussels, clam and shrimp. Good. We got the full house sauce. It's a little bit of everything. Not sure if it was a Mistake or not but I got MEDIUM SPICE LEVEL from someone who likes spicy food. To me personally it was spicy. Savory and delicious but to me the medium heat level tasted spicy to our family. Not a knock or ding whatsoever. Just something to keep in mind. We got fried calamari and breaded catfish. Beautifully fried. Not greasy or oily. The Cajun fries are good too. Get some rice! Mix the sawce and clams and mussels. With some lemon soo good. Will come again. Awesome

Instead, they would blast the mixed music so loud that you practically had to yell out loud for a causal conversation with a person that sat next to you. The place is dark and makes it difficult to see the small fonts on the menu clearly. Thus, one of us ordered the lemonade and the waiter asked if he wanted the strawberry one. Not knowing they would charge a different price and extra for refill. This would be fine if the waiter at least informed him since this's our first visit. Honestly, the foods and services were OK but they are overpriced. We wanted to support this minority own restaurant but, at this restaurant, it's not worth it.

It looked like they have a lot of online orders though. I looked at the menu and noticed they have a lot of seafood options. I decided to try the lobster roll garlic butter sauce. I was told it was $36 for market price but I was actually charged $37. I also got a soda and asked for ice and it came in the tiniest cup of ice with no lid. It didn't really work for me so I ended up not using that cup. The employee in the front was nice though. Once I got home I tried it and it was okay. It's not the best lobster roll I've had. The fries were fine but the lobster was a bit dry. Melted butter on the side would have made it better, but I forgot to ask for that. Since they do have a lot of seafood options I wouldn't mind coming back to give them another try.
