The Mexican food here is amazing! I was in the area and saw the great reviews, so had to stop by. The staff here is super friendly and very helpful in deciding on what to get. They make their corn tortillas from scratch which is a bonus! I decided to get their carne asada plate and had them chop it up. I didn't want it as chopped as you see in the picture, but it's all good. Comes with rice, beans, grilled onions, and guac. I do wish it came with more onions since they were so good with the steak. My daughter got the taquitos and loved them. My son got a chicken torta and also loved it. They have fountain drinks, Jarritos, Mexican Coke, and even champurrado. Oh and you get complimentary chips and salsa when you dine in. LOCATION: feels like a hole in the all place, probably has around 6 tables inside and feels small but cozy at the same time. Right on Mountain and off the 10 in a very small plaza and sometimes he can be hard to miss! SERVICE: very nice staff here and great servicing overall, I ordered to go and had no issues ordering and picking up. They do charge for credit card so preferably payment is cash. FOOD: a huge forearm size burrito for $9.50, can't beat that! Very delicious and flavorful with a lot of meat. The menudo has tons of tripe and the tacos are generous which is priced around $2.5-$4. All I can say is DAMN! Please run to this establishment. Do not walk. It is a very small hole in the wall place. It is very clean. The ambiance is great! I will also say the service is top notch. I got a carne asada red wet burrito. My son got al pastor green wet burrito. I had not had a burrito in over 3 years. It was one of the best I have ever had. The asada was so tender. The red sauce was spicy and flavorful! I was only able to eat 1/3 of it because it was so big. My son said it was one of the best burritos he has ever had. He was only able to eat half of the burrito. We came home in a food coma, and just kept saying how delicious the meal was. I moved to Ontario 5 months ago. We used to come to this spot when it was La Cotija for many, many years. As they transferred over we ended up moving so we couldn't come to this location anymore. Coming back we noticed it had a name change but that didn't stop up. This place is absolutely amazing. Atmosphere is there, low volume music with nice decoration. The food was 10/10. I can vouch, this spot has some really good food. Enjoyed their Machaca breakfast burrito and it was so stuffed I couldn't finish the whole thing. That's definitely a good sign. The prices are pretty reasonable here too. $10 for the breakfast burrito. Not bad, nice staff here too. It's a low profile Mexican restaurant, but there's good things going on inside. I'll try this spot again when I'm around. I wonder how the tacos are. For $2.50 a pop that I think I'll have to snag some next time. read more

I really like this place, but my favorite thing in here is the Menudo they make it perfectly has a great taste, the service is amazing. The owners are really attentive and they know how to run a restaurant. I always tell my husband half of owning restaurant is customer service and they get it. So I will be coming back and trying more things, but as of now they get five stars for the Menudo, pozole and their service. The ambience is nice they have a dia de Los Muertos vibes. But the place is very clean even the restrooms. I also tried the tamales, and they were very good chicken and green salsa.
